No, the Journey Doesn't End Here...

PK Note: The big announcement had to wait until the site integration was completed. It's over now. Be sure to check out the incredible new work of fiction by K. M. Breakey, "All Thy Sons."

Heroes are rising.

A new era begins.

Paul Kersey is joining Unz.com as an exclusive blogger at Ron Unz's website.

The entire archives have been moved to the site and you'll be able to comment there starting now.

It will take a few weeks to get used to, but it's time to take things to another level.

It's been almost 10 years since SBPDL began, and now the next step in journey starts.

Join us at Unz.com.

I visited the UNZ site and the comments are closed on SBPDL articles. I often liked to go back to articles and re-read the comments but now I guess that will be a thing of the past. Yet, UNZ has articles and the comments are still viewable. I don't get why the difference.

Paul Kersey will be a great addition, and a lot of new people will read him.

Then again, it is/was your site.

Farewell to Paul Kersey, SBPDL, the commenters, the readers, the lurkers, the rats, the hasbarats, and the boons, loons and coons. As John Lennon sang, "the dream is over".
As far as race reality, years ago there was nothing on line. I stumbled upon Stormfront and I supported it--but it was just too lowbrow. Then I discovered the well known Mania humor site---where no discussion is allowed and you hear the same joke 10,000 X; which led to the "tea and scones" race reality of American Renaissance. So SBPDL was perfect for me: brutally honest testimonies from Whites on the front lines of dispossession and deracination. It was a place of freedom. It was a place of reality. It was a place I could still practice free association.

I went to the UNZ homepage, scrolled down to the bottom, selected "all bloggers" and there are four. All the other blogger's articles have the number of comments on each article listed and comments can be viewed and made.

The only one where this is NOT TRUE is Paul Kersey. Can't see the comment count, the comments made or make any comments.

It was nice while it lasted. RIP SBPDL. I'll miss the hell out of all the commenters- you guys and gals were great!

'North Georgia businessman shot, killed during attempted robbery outside CVS'

By: Tom Regan
Updated: Feb 8, 2019 - 2:15 PM

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Police are investigating after a north Georgia businessman was shot and killed outside a CVS store in Hall County Thursday night.

The shooting happened at the CVS on Parkhill Drive in Gainesville around 7:45 p.m.

Investigators say a man wearing all black clothing, a hoodie and a mask was seen by several people wandering in the parking lot outside the store.

Businessman Jack Hough, 73, was sitting inside his car in the parking lot while his wife went inside the store.

Police believe the man approached Hough in an attempt to carjack or rob him and the two began to struggle. Hough was shot in the chest and rushed to a hospital, where he died.

K-9 units, officers and a helicopter searched the area for the suspect, who is still on the loose.

Congrats at your new home. I'm more of a reader than a commenter, but have lots of bad experiences with blacks. This site is great for truth-telling and ndthing is more accurate than the stories told here. For those with experience around blacks,(and those who are lucky enough not to live among them), keep your guard up at all times.

I have been over to UNZ.. I see Paul Kersey and I see the story.. If the comments are closed why cant we still read them??..even older stories comments do not show. Im sure everyone here is very used to this format we are commenting in and getting used to a new site will have its learning curve. Or some bugs need to be worked out on UNZ .. im not sure. But Im not giving up!! Its imperative we support the initiative of SBPDL. It may be a small voice but its a voice for all of us. If you can learn to read and write, you can learn to use a new web site. No different than upgrading from Windows XP. I thought that was the greatest OS ever. I had mastered it and knew how to fix everything.
That's all I got.. DONT GIVE UP PEOPLE..learning is a progress in our very existence.

I am sure that there were reasons behind this move, but as great as PK is at starting the conversation - have no doubt that what really made THIS place special was the comments. That is where most of the redpilling took place.

The kind of community created here was nothing like what exists on the other websites that fall in this orbit which for different reasons have their strong points and weak points. Nothing in the racial awareness sphere had the balance of humor, insight, anecdotes, brilliant writing, and all of the other things that created a legitimate online community with a must read daily visit.

There should be a hall of fame voting poll for those of us who have read this site for years, and have seen so many brilliant people come and go.

Maybe that can be a farewell SBPDL post - the top 20 most impactful commenters? the ones people miss the most? the ones the readers looked forward to reading the most --- categories like the funniest, the smartest, etc...?

Much like the old joke about guys subscribing & reading Playboy for the articles, I enjoyed reading the comments on the stories here probably more than the stories themselves, which were usually depressing, and pointed out how far civilized society has fallen in the name of political correctness, affirmative action, equal opportunity, and denial of the truth.
Similar to a man who constantly hits himself in the hand with a hammer, but blames himself for his hand constantly being in the way of the hammer in his other hand.

Farewell fellow SBPDL commenters, thank you for your stories, insight, and well written, thought out comments, and to steal a quote from X-Files:

I think it still possible to archive the comments with the blog posts on the Wayback Machine and Archive.Today like this blog post.

I wish then some others bloggers could return on UNZ.com like Saboteur365 and Mike Smith who maintened Mike Smith's Political Commentary with news from South Africa.

Hey,

The site isn't going away! It just won't suffer censorship from Google (and threat of being pulled or not even showing up in search results).

Comments should be opened at Unz.com/sbpdl now, as the migration took over a month and many bugs needed to be worked out!

Remember -- Twitter had banned links from SBPDL since late 2015 (did the same to Vox Day).

I appreciate each and everyone of you and invite you all to join in the fun at Unz.com!

AnalogMan said ”Too bad. I'm banned at (((Unz))). Criticised one of their (((writers))).”

Lets don’t give up too quickly. I’m able to connect to unz with Tor and was able to reach a page to post a comment on a blog other than SBPDL. That page seemed to allow for anonymous comments. If you select another alias and connect via Tor or a vpn to obfuscate your true IP, you should still be able to reach the blog and post comments.

Hopefully, PK knows what he is doing. However, my layperson’s opinion is that the new arrangement merely puts another link in the chain with the potential for failure. When the PC crowd doesn’t like what SBPDL is doing, pressure will be applied to UNZ and UNZ will probably choose to pull the plug on PK or strictly censor comments rather than get shut down completely. My guess is that PK has been moderating comments in a manner compatible with UNZ’s requirements for a while in anticipation of the change. I know that in the past almost every comment that I submitted was accepted, but in recent months less than half of them get through. This is the first comment that I’ve bothered to submit in quite a while because it isn’t worth my effort to compose a comment when there is only a 1 in 3 chance that it will get through. Probably, the experience on the new SBPDL blog will be about the same as it is has been here in recent months until the plug is pulled. Gab was all about free speech until they came under pressure, then they caved. I expect things to be about the same with UNZ.

I notice that on American Renaissance, only vile posts are flagged. OK...there you need to be respectful of even negroes, but it does have free speech. This site has more freedom of expression than AmRen (Paul is the judge). I would say AmRen's site has good communication, but it might also be subject to the left.

Your neighborhood is overrun with dangerous dogs. They attack, maul, bite and even kill. The owners make no effort to restrain them and refuse to accept responsibility. even refuse to admit their is a problem. Your next door neighbor attempts to help the situation by standing on his porch and yelling warnings at passersby. Some are saved, but the attacks do not cease. Finally, your frustrated neighbor moves and you decide to confront the owners of the dogs, but they become hostile and vilify you, threatening legal action and worse. As you leave you see your former neighbor. He has moved in with a relative of the dog's owners. He assures you this is the best move, one that can make more of a difference. But the dogs still run free and their owners are still beyond reproach. You decide to move, and hope it is the last time. But you know it won't be.

Paul, I'm sure you'll get the comments up and running. What concerns me is you planting your flag on somewhat anti-semitic soil. I don't know your feelings on the JQ and that's a good thing. ((Their)) responsibility for the social ills that concern us are of little consequence to me. I see SJW's and Corporate America in the driver's seat to Hell right now and if some or even most of ((them)) are in the passenger seat shouting directions I couldn't care less. Too many of my friends and family are lansmen for me to hope on that blame train.

I just read an older article about "Hidden Figures" on UNZ where a black doctoral student criticized P.K.'s article as dripping in racism. I suppose she wrote, P.K., giving her take on the matter, but didn't give any reason why "Hidden Figures" was factually correct. As a matter of fact, she admitted it had a bit of artistic license.

I wonder what her degree is in...maybe African Studies? I watched the film on HBO and it failed to show how the protagonist saved the day with her numerical acumen.

Speaking of hidden, they need to open P.K.'s comments section.

No, it's not that simple. Say what you like about Unz, but they have a technically superior system. Most places, when they ban you, they record the ban in your cookies, so you just clear cookies, or use another browser. Not Unz. I don't know where they put the ban, but it's not in cookies, nor, as far as I can discover, in the Windows registry. And if you try to submit a comment under another name, it immediately tells you that's not the name you used before, and it's not allowed.

I don't know if they're recording my IP address on their own system, maybe a VPN would get around it. Maybe another machine that doesn't have all Gooogle's data on me. I haven't bothered to try very hard to beat it.

Unz actually has a very good comments system. Replies to comments are cross-referenced, and you can read them by simply hovering over the reply link. I'm sure they'll get it sorted out soon.

My main concern is with loss of autonomy. There's been a lot of bitching, including from me, about moderation on this site. I don't know who will be moderating at Unz, but I suspect Paul may lose some control there. And remember, if you're banned at Unz, you're banned for all its writers. So be careful what you write there, and don't mention (((Those Who Must Not Be Named))). It's the price of using (((their))) platform.

Anonymous said...

I have not visited Unz in the past, but clearly some SBPDL readers have. Apparently the feel of using Unz is subjective. An Anon above describes that site as somewhat anti-semitic ground, and AnalogMan seems to have found it to be something different. The fact that Unz is willing to host SBPDL doesn’t seem consistent with Unz being operated by ((them)) unless the plan is to host PK long enough to create a dependency on Unz, and then pull the plug when PK has no alternative platform. It seems more likely to me that Unz merely takes a pragmatic business position and attempts to avoid directly antagonizing ((them)). Either way, concerns that ((their)) influence could have an effect on SBPDL’s future seem reasonable.

A simple and free way to test the filter used by Unz to block those who engage in wrongspeak would be to install software along the lines of Tails to a usb. This would eliminate the possibility of tracking solely by cookie or IP. The browser’s fingerprint might be captured and used for tracking, but this wouldn’t be particularly reliable because the fingerprint isn’t completely unique and it would be less unique than many Window’s browsers. Also, some websites block IPs associated with Tor or associated with certain geographical regions. It doesn’t appear that Unz blocks Tor.

If you scan through posts over the years, you’ll see that a lot of commenters have come and gone … a lot. And that’s understandable.
But, a few of the old faithfuls are still around: Mr. Rational, Californian, 10mm Auto, and, of course, AnalogMan, who, I hope, is not banned from the new site.
Many great commenters have left this site for various reasons, and I’d hate to see another one go because of a rules change.
It has the feel of going from a self-contained home to an apartment building.
Hope that’s not the case.

Ron Unz himself has had some pretty harsh words for Jews lately.  Try going down his published articles and read the "American Pravda" pieces (at least one).  I suspect you will be pleasantly surprised.

I believe that Ron Unz himself is a Jew. And he has indeed written articles critical of Jews or Israel. But the comment that got me banned was directed personally at one of his writers, a Jewess, one Ilana Mercer. When she lived in South Africa, her daddy, the rabbi, was one of the leaders of the Jewish assault on SA, and when he achieved his aims, the family went home to Israel, because they could. Leaving the rest of us to live in their favoured utopia. She subsequently immigrated to America, another option not open to regular White South Africans. Now she has rebranded herself as a "libertarian", and writes for Unz. I was rather critical of her, and I stand by what I wrote. But I stand without Unz.

Interesting. Notwithstanding the possibility that it may have been written by a hypocrite, I found Mercer’s book “Into the Cannibal’s Pot” to be informative and a good warning to Americans. I don’t doubt that she got you booted from UNZ if you offended her. From my brief communications with her, I can say that she is abrasive and easy to offend as well as being quite difficult to reason with. You are a great contributor to this blog, and I hope that you don’t let your understandable dislike for ((them)) put you on the sideline. Grab a new handle, connect through Tor, and contribute to the discourse until you get booted again. You might want to prudently self-moderate your comments that are personally directed at writers for UNZ.
