D'Won invites "Common;" Kennedy invited Robert Frost. D'Won has Beyonce; Kennedy had cellist Pablo Cassals. Hmmmn, some of these things are not like the others.

Politics aside, the Kennedys (or at least Jackie) were products of American culture and celebrated American musicians and writers and artists. They showcased Western culture at White House events. They were both the products of upper-echelon prep schools where they were taught a classical, Western education.

The Obamas have low-brow tastes at best, and are distinctly un- and anti-American. Having good taste does not have to mean opera and stuffy poetry readings, but the Obamas go out of their way to promote the worst of black "culture" - rappers, thugs, overtly-sexual performers, and grievance writers (like Maya Angelou - she was forced as graduation speaker on my college graduating class by the leftist administration).Sheilanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-124778350158950672011-05-12T12:23:29.797-07:002011-05-12T12:23:29.797-07:00Thanks for the link Paul.
I agree that it isn'...Thanks for the link Paul.

I agree that it isn't *that* big of a deal that Common was invited to the White House. I give a little wiggle room in these regards. I think a better conversation on "our" side should be, as you say, "hey, look who our Marxist black liberationist First Couple are doing now." I'd rather save my outrage and just laugh at their stupidity.

Also, it's funny how the blacks are handling this. They are making the argument that Common isn't even a gangsta rapper. By saying this they are tacitly - finally - admitting that gangsta rapping is a net negative (what up Michael Eric Dyson). Also, their argument is like saying that Slobodon Milosevic wasn't that bad because he wasn't nearly as bad as Hitler. It's a ridiculous argument to make. Common is preaching victimology and a surreptitious form of hate.G.L.Piggyhttp://glpiggy.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-84388007352594810042011-05-12T11:20:52.610-07:002011-05-12T11:20:52.610-07:00Let's not forget that Bush invited Ozzy Osbour...Let's not forget that Bush invited Ozzy Osbourne to a White House ball, as well.

Good for the goose, good for the gander. I think Obama is a political hack the very same way that Bush was, etc., etc..

The only difference is color, and political party, other than that, nothing. Personally, I've never heard this cretin called Common before, but I can tell that he's just another Negro with a chip on his shoulder. Obama is just trying to suck up to his black constituency, but as SBPDL has mentioned, he risks alienating more white voters. Indeed, it's a tight rope that Mein Obama be a walkin'.

Which do you prefer Metal in the White House, or Rap? I'd prefer some New Wave myself.Dissidentnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-49537011085497340272011-05-12T09:27:56.604-07:002011-05-12T09:27:56.604-07:00I think that that Obama, with his presence alone, ...I think that that Obama, with his presence alone, degrades and cheapens the office of the Presidency, the hallowed halls of the White House, the United States Constitution, and the vision and legacy of the Founding Fathers. By allowing this traitor to continue to thumb his nose at the American people, we send a message that we don't care what he does. He is a guest in OUR house, he represents US, and should have more respect for the majority instead of his ghetto-pimp-style pandering to low-lifes and terrorists.

I don't care about Common or his record sales. Most of his sales come from welfare blacks and DWL white boys.

I do care about my country, however, and how we are perceived around the world. We should not allow him to degrade us any further.Midwesternnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-27861280557039988962011-05-12T08:54:37.537-07:002011-05-12T08:54:37.537-07:00That will ultimately backfire as well. That will ultimately backfire as well.Stuff Black People Don't Likehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923871032509110194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-80938306312381062472011-05-12T08:49:03.504-07:002011-05-12T08:49:03.504-07:00"The history of hip-hop and the White House i..."The history of hip-hop and the White House is quite interesting ... but anytime people try and ban or censor things from occurring or people speaking then it usually backfires."

Yeah, like what happened with Jared Taylor!
