Don't get point at all.

Black victimology does not come in different flavors. It is used in many situations, yes, but black culture is a culture of victimology. Victimology is the underlying theme in every action and decision, even the so called "middle class" and "educated" blacks. That is why we hear things like "it's a black thang and you wouldn't understand" and "you don't know what it is like to be black in America" and "driving while black" and breathing while black", etc. Pure victimology.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-18225813207638443652011-01-12T17:48:19.772-08:002011-01-12T17:48:19.772-08:00That may be true of some Blacks, but you're ta...That may be true of some Blacks, but you're taking out a specific group and using them to make a generalization of all Blacks. It started out as a sideshow to education and was merely supposed to benefit the character and the bodies of the young gentlemen participating in it.

These days education is a little regarded sideshow to a ritualized clash of spandex clad proto-humanoids. I suppose, that in a hundred years from now all pretense of college education will be gone and four legged beasts will be eligible to run the football.

The gladiatorial games in ancient Rome did not start out as the infamy to which they later degenerated. In the early days of the republic, fights were held to commemorate the deeds of ones ancestors and were a solemn occasion. Fast forward two hundred years and you have Russel Crowe chained to a hulking negro bashing some poor fellows brains out. I mean just think about it, behind closed doors whether it's Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin, there's at least a 30 minute wackathon every night.

We all know that if not for their athleticism, the demand for and money spent on sports entertainment, 98% of black athletes would not even attend college in the first place. (See the high school drop out rate for black males and subsequent poor college graduation rate for black college athletes.)

So be it. Think of the civic pride, school spirit, and not to mention commerce generated by college football and basketball. It is not about lack of opportunity or racism or the boogey man, these are only code words for the real problem. This is true in all aspects of life for blacks. Why do you think they were so happy and surprised about Obama being elected? They never truly believed that a black person could be so successful. They know the truth but will never admit it in front of whites.

If only blacks would discard their overinflated egos, stop lying to whites and to themselves, and if whites would realize the true limitations of blacks in our society we might just make some progress. This is true in all aspects of life for blacks. Why do you think they were so happy and surprised about Obama being elected? They never truly believed that a black person could be so successful, I think most know that it will not last.

Blacks know their true limitations, but this is the dirty laundry that must not be aired in front of whites, and they really have no faith in the success of blacks in general.

The undercurrent of victimology and anti-intellectualism are strong forces in the black collective.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-74546136601621523372011-01-11T23:30:51.296-08:002011-01-11T23:30:51.296-08:00When it comes to the Black athlete in college you&...When it comes to the Black athlete in college you're solely looking at 2 sports: Football & Basketball

The underlying factor that neither you(blog writer) or the writers of the articles you linked pointed out is that these Black athletes are there to pursue a career as a Professional Athlete. A majority of these athletes pursue this career over any career that a Bachelor's degree can offer them. When their football career finishes with their last game they immediately withdraw from school to begin their professional career.

The [sports] recruiters for these schools cite the school's ability to get players to the NFL instead of their actual ability to graduate the player. Its a double edged sword in which Coach Harbaugh(now Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers) would probably acknowledge. Stanford has not been known for producing NFL players in the past 10 seasons. A fact that likely was used by rival football programs to persuade those who aspire to be Professional Athletes away from attending Stanford.

Blacks aren't graduating because they strive to be members of the unstable working force rather than pursue an actual career.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890530692790573387.post-36614658394315240492011-01-11T21:06:05.319-08:002011-01-11T21:06:05.319-08:00First of all, War Eagle!!!!!
