The only legacy of Rodney and Martin Luther King: If we don't get our way, we riot |
Strangely enough, I would turn to the Almighty, and say, "If you allow me to live just a few years in the second half of the 20th century, I will be happy."Lost in the annals of time is that he also would call for a boycott of Coca-Cola in this same speech ("Now, if you are not prepared to do that, we do have an agenda that we must follow. And our agenda calls for withdrawing economic support from you. And so, as a result of this, we are asking you tonight, to go out and tell your neighbors not to buy Coca-Cola in Memphis."), a company whose President - Robert Woodruff - had already gone on all in on the Civil Rights movement and integration, bending over backwards to placate Black people (and forcing - coercing - the white business community of Atlanta to do the same).
Now that's a strange statement to make, because the world is all messed up. The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land; confusion all around. That's a strange statement. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. And I see God working in this period of the twentieth century in a way that men, in some strange way, are responding.
Something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee -- the cry is always the same: "We want to be free."
But that wasn't enough in the eyes of King (interestingly, Jesse Jackson was present at the speech and would shakedown Coke only 12 years later).
But the question posed by King is worth thinking about: what age would you want to live in? Like the late actor Patrick Swayze, I've long thought that being a Confederate officer fighting for an actual cause would have been an excellent time period to live - and ultimately die - in.
It's funny to think that King would have wanted to live in the second half of the 20th century, one that would provide conclusive proof and mounds of empirical evidence that his dream should be rejected as the rantings of an individual bent on the total annihilation of Western civilization (the more obvious the reality of racial differences become, the more censored public discussion about how policy should be crafted in light of these facts -- isn't that a slight variation of Lawrence Auster's First rule?). One need only look at post-apartheid South Africa, the sorrowful condition of majority Black Memphis, or the Atlanta Public Schools fiasco of 2011 to understand that the dream is nothing more than... a nightmare.
Today, a man whose inability to cooperate with the police in Los Angeles sparked a devastating riot back in 1992 has passed on. At 47-years-old, Rodney King is no longer with us, drowning at the bottom of a swimming pool. TMZ reports:
UPDATE 9:27 AM PT -- According to our sources, King's fiancée is telling friends King had been drinking and smoked weed in the hours before his death.Reginald Denny knows the answer of the question King famously asked while the City of Angels burned: "No, we can't all just get along."
Rodney King -- the man who was at the center of the infamous Los Angeles riots -- was found dead this morning in Rialito, CA. He was 47.
According to our sources, King's fiancée found him dead at the bottom of a pool.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they responded to a call at 5:25 AM PT. We're told they physically removed King from the pool and attempted CPR.
Our sources say he was pronounced dead at 6:11 AM.
Law enforcement sources say Rialto PD will open a drowning investigation, but so far there are no signs of foul play.
This age will end; the tyranny of Black-Run America (BRA) will be broken; and our posterity will learn of two Black men named King, who both lived in the second part of the 20th century -- but whose lives never crossed paths.
They lived (and thrived) during a time period when it was espoused by Disingenuous White Liberals (DWL) in the media/entertainment, academia, and by the government that white people owed an eternal debt to the Blacks, one that could virtually never be repaid -- see The Kerner Report.
In that strange speech given the night before he was murdered, King said, "the cry is always the same: "We want to be free."
It is in the life of Rodney King that we are provided with the ultimate lesson the Civil Rights-era can provide: Freedom Failed.

I for one am saddened by King's death. Why? Because whatever good or ill he has done in his life, he is past earthly judgment. Death diminishes us all, and awaits for us everyone. Compassion is not weakness, a prayer for his family and loved ones (surely he had them) could not hurt anyone and might even help.
Nor do I blame Rodney King for the riots. THAT was the media, editing the tape (not showing the first five minutes of King fighting and winning against cops desperate not to shoot him). And a craven DA who charged the unchargeable despite the evidence (shades of Zimmerman). And most of all, Black people in LA as a GROUP who felt their anger justified the murder, arson, looting, and permanent maiming of some random White guy who had nothing to do with anything. That's who I blame, because the guilt was theirs.
As far as Dr. King's Dream? I admire his physical courage, because it was indeed considerable. He did indeed seek to end discrimination against Blacks and for that I do not fault him. I've said before King is admirable, BUT and the but is there, one must consider his flaws just like Otto Von Bismarck.
Just like the Iron Chancellor, Dr. King practiced "revolutionary Conservatism" which was neither revolutionary nor conservative. His system of ending discrimination against Blacks by starting it against Whites (without pull and power) was unsustainable and sure to build ever-growing resentment. His refusal to look at Black dysfunction outside the lens of White repression (which was real and substantial but not the reason for Black failure in so many areas) indicated a lack of wisdom, foresight, and willingness to confront the failures of his own people.
King's bravery, his political acumen in mass media manipulation, his speaking skills, are all admirable and should be admired. His lack of wisdom and unwillingness to see the predictable consequences of his policies are not.
Rodney King was an unremarkable man who had no real part in the riots that bore his name, and died a sad death. My prayers for his family.
Poor Rodney King...killed by a racist swimming pool.
He must have been stoned if he forgot that water is racist.
Just from Wikipedia: In November 1989, King robbed a store in Monterey Park, California by hitting a store owner with an iron bar. In July 1995, he was arrested by Alhambra police, who alleged that he hit his wife with his car, knocking her to the ground. On August 27, 2003, King was arrested again for speeding and running a red light while under the influence of alcohol. He failed to yield to police officers and slammed his vehicle into a house, breaking his pelvis.
Whiskey,
Where I can find video of Rodney King fighting cops for 5 minutes?
The YouTube video shows him getting of the ground and charging full speed at the cop. I have no doubts that he was fighting the cops but it would be nice to see the video.
I'm sorry, but I can't agree that "Dr." King was admirable. The simple facts of his life are what they were. He was a fraud, he was a cheater, he was sexually immoral to an extreme.
He was what so many preachers, black and white, were: someone with certain skills and aptitudes that found in the church a way to gratify himself.
That said, his death was indeed a tragedy. It was a traged for his family of course, but most importantly it made him into a martyr and an effective tool for anti-whites to this day. living, he would have sooner or later crossed even that extreme line and been discredited.
Look at most of the white preachers, Swaggart, Haggard, Bakker, Roberts, on and on all the way back to Aimee Semple. I give credit to Graham for at least living as he preached, but he and a couple of others are the exception.
Rodney King's fat sheboon fiancée was actually a juror at his civil trial.
King's previous fiancée was also a negress, which distinguishes him from the venerable Doctor King, who preferred to fuck white women. Both were raging alcoholics, but Rodney never beat his girlfriends either, that I can recall anyway.
The newly-dead King actually inspires more empathy. Imagine that!
Whiskey, you are sorely out of tune with what history knows about Michael Luther King (his birth name).
By the timne Ray centered the crosshairs on his rifle in
Memphis, King had long abandoned his non-violent stance and gone along with SNCC, the Black Panthers, and other Whit-hating groups.
It was one thing that King was dead-set against the war in Vietnam; so were many Whites.
By late 1966, however, King was publicly a socialist/fascist and BLack Power advocate. Combine this with his horrid overindulgence in booze and women not his wife and you have a guy who is far from heroic.
Do you REALLY want a black hero? Take Malcolm Little "X" who was, at the time of his death, had finally realized the cost and uselessness of his prior hateful ways.
Annoyed In Illinois
"I for one am saddened by King's death."
Do you feel sorry for his victims? He was a thug and robber.
Rodney King was a drag on America in every way, I shed no tears whatsoever for this terrible man. Not for him, and certainly not for the family that raised this animal.I say I wish it happened a lot sooner(preferably before the incident that sparked his people's riots). And dying peacefully in a pool isn't the was I was hoping it happened either.
It's always eye popping to see a comment which urges our compassion for him and his family. Sorry, my compassion dried up long ago. I lived and worked in Los Angeles before, during, and after those riots.
Unlike most people, I didn't have to watch them on live TV, I had to drive near the edges of where it was all happening. My job wouldn't give me a pass so I could avoid from having to go through those areas. I watched the Fedco and surrounding area burn and get looted.
Any idiot who thinks we can "get along or has FAKE compassion for King or his people is a fool or is dangerously suicidal. Fine, you can either go live in any inner city neighborhood to show us your sentiments at work or shut up. And if you want to push your crap on us
don't be shocked when we push it back in your face to see. If you are suicidal, then off yourself alone, don't take this entire ship down with you.
The problem with these sentiments is the real life translation they bring. Whiskey, no doubt, lives far, far away from the fray; way up on a hill somewhere behind the gates of a patrolled security community--the actual results of their compassion they pretend to have is shoved down on us and is reflected in the black hostilities and retaliations from those they have championed for, but NEVER on themselves, but the rest of us.
I didn't just see it, I smelled the burning, I saw the fires, I watched as firetrucks from all over came in to help come back with smashed windows, dents, gunshot holes in them, in almost thoroughly looted from.
So save your bullshit pity Whiskey, not only for 'lil Rodney but for that communist rabble rouser Martin Luther King.
I will skip commenting on your insane and inaccurate beliefs on this guy, but MLK was a liar, a communist(all his inner circle was too) he was a womanizer, and he was an out an out plagiarist who should have had his "Dr." title stripped from him right in the faces of the rioting mobs.
You want to stop wild animals from tearing up your property? First, YOU STOP FEEDING them, secondly you put fences around your property to keep them out, and if that doesn't work you take it to the next step.
I live in the heart of hell, in a community where both angry inner city blacks are swarming to, and illegal aliens are over-running. I have no time for compassion since that emotion is NOT shared by the people pouring in where I live towards me or anyone who looks like me.
Whiskey, take your cheap talk elsewhere. All you are is a programmed cultural Marxist mouthpiece. Your sugary coating has melted and we can see and smell the crap underneath that veneer of yours that you still think is covering you.
What part of the pool was he found?
The deep part? I have yet to see a black man who could swim.
Couple that with drinking, he was a goner for getting in the pool.
Rodney King, that great civil rights hero, now joins the other saints such as St Trayvon of skittles.
My God, is the whole country insane? I've been reading the gushing posts on Twitter about this guy. He's being hailed as a civil right hero! This man was no hero. He was a felon and substance abuser. As a human, I would have hoped he could have turned his life around but the odds were probably always against it. While the details of his death are still sketchy, it would seem he died in the same manner he lived. Surprised?
Let's recall the facts and not about the riot which wasn't his fault, we have the media to blame for that, but about the night he was beat:
1) He was drunk (estimated 2x the legal limit) and led the police on a dangerous high speed chase on the freeway as well as through residential areas. This is well documented.
2) He refused to comply with police instructions and attacked them in a manner that led them to assume, in addition to being drunk, he was on drugs.
3) Two other men in the car with him were not beat because they complied with police instructions.
They tear down Washington, Jefferson, et al and this is what they'll replace them with? Sickening.
We want to be free!
...is a barbaric yawp. It is always the cry of revolutionaries and always ends in lakes of blood.
What blacks are incapable of getting their tiny minds around is the concept of liberty. Liberty. Not "I wants tuh be fwee!" Liberty has always been the promise of America: for those who can partake of it and of its fruits. But for that one must be a self-governing adult among many other self-governing adults. Utterly beyond blacks.
Did King himself understand the concept of liberty? Possibly. But why bother when you can start a fire and watch it burn.
I find it ironic that Rodney drowned in his pool. The only way he had the money to buy a house with a pool was because of the (bogus) civil trial money he received. Before the incident he was a two bit thug and would never have made and saved the money to buy such a place on his own. Karma seems to have come around full circle.
Good riddens to two pieces of shit. Both of these men(animals) beat women and lied as easy as breath.
Both are exactly what is wrong with black America. All heroes are flawed and all are human these two are not good men with flaws but are extremely flawed men who are held up as good.
Only in modern BRA can drunken women beaters who lie cheat and steal become martyrs.
Sorry Whiskey save your compassion for REAL humans with REAL emotions. You honestly think the average black has the same emotions as us? Hell, half of the entitled shit for brains sociopath Whites don't have the good will and emotions as a hound dog. Do you think Rodney King's relatives are any better than St. Trayvons'?
I would love to see a truthful physiologist or psychiatrist opinion on Trayvons' parents. I have no doubt they are either full blown sociopaths or at least have sociopathic tendencies. The crocodile tears they shed were all saved up for the cameras now they are living large partying from city to city all thanks to their little lotto ticket.
For those asking as far as I can tell the 1:17 video with the time codes is the one first aired on KTLA that was used in the trial.
Rockfish Rodney got $3.8million from the City of LA that quite likely he blew quickly and he wasn't exactly a model citizen afterward.
The pic I posted in the previous thread floored me.
There's Rodney, there's the pool, and on the wall just under the surface of the water is ''3/3/91'' and just below that is ''4/29/92'' the day 4 clubs beat a king and the day the riots began.
Young black guy here again.
TM picked a fight he should not have plain and simple.
My dad told me growing up never fight a grown man. He said a real man is not gonna fight u unless u do something wrong. Second he told me a real man will shoot a man attempting to harm him. There are no rules in fighting and that's why real men don't handle their problems fighting.
In this case TM parents did not teach him this.
I belive he was offended that GZ was following him. He felt he was gonna be a bad ass like his ghetto rap music tells him hundreds of times a day and he decided he was gonna knock this guy out.
Instead of simply stopping showing deference to an elder an clearing up any misunderstanding he picked a fist fight with an armed man.
On top of that GZ does not know who this guy is all he knows is he just got the sh!t punched outta him and now he's on his back about to be knocked unconscious or killed. He did what any of us would have and that is protected his life.
GZ broke no law even if what he did was politically incorrect. So what he racially profiled that does not give tw other person to assault him and possibly kill him.
TM brought fists to a gun fight and loss his life.
Rodney King is a rockfish, too. Who knew? Guy was an epic piece of shit and I for one find his death amusing.
By that time king was deeply active in support of a communist approach. The soviets provided something the us did not a plan (flawed) for his people and lots of money.
By the time king died almost all of his inner circle were known communist sympathers
He wasn't one of the guys on the us swim team that won gold at the last Olympics black. I know it was one guy but he has to count right? As far as Rodney he was a pcp
"about which age of man he'd like to live (Egypt, Greece, Rome, Prussia during the time of the real Martin Luther, the Renaissance"
Who in the world would ask a black man that question? They still didnt have writing in sub sahara africa or the wheel 500yrs ago. There are color pics of blacks carrying things on their heads as the wheel was not known to them, so all of those ages would be the same for the blacks.
But the question posed by King is worth thinking about: what age would you want to live in?
In reality, right now is one of the very best times to be alive. We enjoy the manifold benefits of science and technology while not yet has our planet descended into the economic and environmental havoc that awaits further inaction.
Think about it. Jet airliners can economically deposit us just about anywhere on this globe. Propeller planes did not even approach this level of expedience and comfort. And the risks of travel by clipper ship were unspeakable. One in twelve such vessels never returned to port after setting sail.
Just the last 40 years has seen medical advances of a kind that make even the best 1960s era treatments look like pure quackery.
New crop production and distribution channels make it possible to enjoy a diet of incredible variety and quality with even the most exotic foods now commonly available in any major metropolis.
Although we are on the exiting shoulder of it, the products of cinematography and television's golden age are readily available to discerning viewers. Likewise with artistic works. No global caliphate has yet to make a bonfire of European Old Masters and many such works can be viewed for a modest admission fee at numerous museums.
The planet's population is still not so dense that one cannot enjoy a premium bit of unspoiled wilderness in many places around the world. Nor are our oceans totally depopulated or damaged such that boating or diving are ruined.
While held back by shortsighted policies and leadership, space exploration has opened unimaginable vistas. The Hubble Space Telescope and agile optics earth-based observatories are virtual time machines giving us an unprecedented window on creation. The surface of Mars is being traversed by robotic vehicles that are paving the way for human exploration.
Last but not least, we have the digital microprocessor and it's prodigal offspring, the internet. Communication of ideas and knowledge is proceeding at a pace heretofore unknown in all human history. Solid state integrated circuitry is just the beginning of a revolution in miniaturization that promises to change and improve both our daily life and the health of our environment. Watch this short video for a glimpse of what nanotechnology promises.
In a tragic counterpoint to all of these tremendous advances is the emergence of an elite class within politics and finance who, for the sake of another vote or percent in profit, are willing to stifle every one of these dreams just so long as they can continue to fart through silk.
We must not let that happen.
Young Black Guy: GZ broke no law even if what he did was politically incorrect. So what he racially profiled that does not give tw other person to assault him and possibly kill him.
Help me to understand what racial profiling is. According to the Miami Herald, police were called to Twin Lakes 402 times in the 13 months prior to the killing. In that time, the community experienced eight burglaries, nine thefts, and a shooting. Young Black males were suspects in every single one of those crimes. The police were being called to Twin Lakes almost every day for the last year or so. Zimmerman’s 46 calls to 911 over 8 years seems like a drop in the bucket when you consider those stats. If young White males, if young Hispanic males, if young Asian males or young purple dinosaurs were suspected in those crimes then I would call is racial profiling for Zimmerman to be suspicious of a young Black male, who was unknown to him in his neighborhood and feel it was necessary for him to follow him to see what he was up to. I don’t call that racial profiling. I call that common sense. Hey, I could be wrong or maybe I could be (gasp) politically incorrect. I just don’t believe that to be racial profiling.
Some random thoughts:
MLK's big promise was an America in which the "color of one's skin" was not to make a difference. This turned out to be a fraud. I don't need to recapitulate the nature of BRA on this website.
MLK going on about people demanding freedom in assorted African capitals: we can see how that turned out: assorted black African dictatorships, human rights catastrophes, and the ongoing ethnic cleansing of whites from the Congo to Johannesburg.
As for the Rodney King Riot: blacks demand their way or there is mass violence. This is so even when the civil rights of the accused are violated. In this case, the LAPD officers being subjected to de facto double jeopardy.
There was an episode of the animated series, "Boondocks," in which MLK comes back from the dead today and is "shocked" at the state of black America. I wonder, though, if he might not ponder how much of the dysfunction is the result of his own policies.
May his soul cry out in eternity for mercy, and find none.
Obama bails out Wall Street. Obama allows open gayness in the military. Obama and Biden endorse 'gay marriage'. Obama installs freaks like Sotomayor and Kagan in the Supreme Court. Obama appoints Eric Holder and lets him get away with Fast and Furious. Obama gives amnesty to illegal aliens. Obama build section 8 housing all over the place. Obama has burned us with trillions more in debt.
Yet, he's still leading in the electoral college polls by over a 100 votes. This is one demented and effed up country. I mean just one of the above would have disqualified someone from being president even a decade ago. Today, Americans don't have a problem with any of that. It's a sick hopeless nation.
Before responding to the plea of a people to be set free, one ought to inquire into the reason they are not free. And one ought to ask them what they would do with their freedom. Upon learning the answers, one may conclude that while everyone might desire to be free, not everyone should be free.
Or as Richard Prior once put it, "Thank GOD for the penitentiary!"
Anon.
Agreed. The best part is the St. Martin the Adulter's communist handlers were in all likelihood the ones who had him liquidated. His depravity was about to be made public by Hoover, who had the tapes - including one where he reportedly shouted I'm fuckin' for Jeezzzus - which I plan on making into a ringtone to annoy "Christian conservatives" who worship at his Satanic altar once 75 year term imposed by a Marxist federal judge (yet another one of those who must not be named) to "protect the family" (uh-huh - whose famiglia?) is up. James Earl Ray was a patsy who probably didn't even fire the shot the sent his holiness to his eternal reward.
That said, Whiskey's point about Rodney (c-c-c-can't we all jus' git along?) not being the one primarily responsible for the LA riots is actually a pretty good one. He was obviously another groid with thug tendencies and a substance-abuse problem, but it was indeed the Ministry of Truth who ginned-up the riots.
Anon: My God, is the whole country insane? I've been reading the gushing posts on Twitter about this guy. He's being hailed as a civil right hero! This man was no hero. It's even worse - St. Rodney of King was the recipient of something like a 3 million-dollar award collected by the ambulance-chasers who sued the LAPD after the rioting for the alleged pohleece brutality and injuries he sustained. I can't recall whether he actually won the NL suit or (more likely) the city just paid to make it go away. Where did all that money go? Hookers and blow, like they do in DC?

Martin Luther King didn't preach non-violence because he was non-violent. It was a political move to gain favor for the movement. Black folks were never going to get sympathy for their cause from whites who outnumbered them 15 to one by picking a fight that they could not possibly win. He was a communist, and like the democrats of today, he used black people to further the agenda and simultaneously convinced them they were free as he walked them onto the new plantation where they still happily slave away at the bidding of their communist masters toward the destruction of America and everything that made it great. Like we've seen time and time again, when he was no longer useful alive, they martyred him and rewrote history to serve their agenda.
Unfortunately for all of us, the communists are really fascists. They don't want equality, peace or anything but control and the destruction of America. Just wait until they stop feeding their slave army. We're not even close to seeing the atrocities that black people are really capable of.
It seems according to news reports, Rodney King died of a heart attack. He was a big man and heavy. No surprise there.
As for his petty criminality, well he did not rape a 13 year old, like Roman Polanski. Charlie Sheen shot then girlfriend Kelly Preston in the leg. Sean Penn tied then wife Madonna to a chair. Chris Brown gave Rihanna a beat-down. A petty criminal who created heartache and pain to those who encountered him. But he was not the Grim Sleeper or Jeffrey Dahmer. He did not for example beat in Reginald Denny's skull either. I would not have wanted to meet him. But he was not a monster in human clothing; those guys really do exist and we should not lose sight of that.
As far as Dr. King goes, greatness is not always goodness. George Washington, a man King George thought "the greatest man in the world" for refusing to be America's king, only freed his slaves upon both his and his wife's death, wanting full use of their slave labor. Human decency and integrity are rare. Yes King was a womanizer, according to some beat his wife and his girlfriends, and plagiarized his academic work. Benjamin Franklin disowned his older son over the latter's support for King George. By all accounts Franklin was not a good or faithful father.
Greatness is not very often found with goodness.
I agree that time would have made Dr. King into say, a cartoon like Don King, worthy only of ridicule. But the man was great, and anyone observing his courage, speaking skill, ability to work a crowd, and manipulate the media cannot be but impressed. That he refused to see that giving in to his own anger at White guys would only hurt in the end his own cause and people is all the more tragic. Which in turn ought to be a lesson for us all.
Not only is it plainly obvious that Obama hates America, but it's pretty clear that he doesn't give a shit about black people. This guy doesn't even hire black people for his campaign staff. Hilarious.
Anon at the time of the riots I was working in Baldwin Park. I've worked in Santa Ana, Anaheim, and New Orleans, Pre-Katrina. I've had homeless stoned Black guys rolling around in front of my apartment. I've been held up and got my behind whipped. You don't get Blacker than New Orleans and I lived there for three years. I live in an area rapidly getting more Blacker and more Mexican. Meanwhile CA is not a shall-issue state.
I feel sorry on a human level for King and his family. If you've ever lost family members you can understand and if you have not you never can. That's just a human compassion.
And compassion is not weakness. Nor is weakness compassion.
Compassion means understanding basic human suffering. Did King's fiancee deserve to be punished by his death? Would you put yourself in the position to deal that out? That is not weakness, and excusing the criminal, violent, and appalling murder, arson, rape, and worse of the BLACK COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE is not compassion either, that is weakness. Which in ignoring reality only makes the predation and disaster worse.
You can't let either hate or weakness rule you. And yes I feel sad for Rodney King's victims. Which includes his own family, by all accounts. He had all that money after the settlement, and a life just as meaningless and empty after as before. He was the same guy, just with more money. How sad is that? [By his behavior he seemed to hate himself, he certainly seemed to hasten his death at every opportunity.]
FWIW, most of the Civil Rights activists were Communists from the beginning. This should surprise no one, the Soviets thought Segregation was America's Achilles Heel (as did the Japanese and Hitler before them) and most Whites after Woodrow Wilson endorsed Segregation. Meanwhile Communists were very active in Black communities.
Communism and socialism are very attractive if you think you will never be making a lot of money on your own. And can glom onto other people's money. Black support for socialism is an implicit view that they will never make money on their own. Can you see say, Steve Jobs in 2000 demanding the US Govt run all computer firms and the internet?
Rodney King's Famous Last Words:
"Why can't we all just ... (glub glub blub blub blub ....)" ...
Will Rodney Kingfisher now get his very own national holiday just like M.L.K.?
"... one might note that by many traditional anthropological criteria African-Americans are now one of the dominant social groups in America -- at least they are clearly dominant over whites. There is a tremendous and continuing transfer of property, land, and women from the subordinate race to the dominant race." - Glayde Whitney, Behavioral Geneticist
Martin Luther King didn't preach non-violence because he was non-violent. It was a political move to gain favor for the movement.
There it is. I am somewhat amazed at how well indoctrination has worked even among so call WN, ethnopatriots or whatever who see him as some sort of saint. Lord help us.
His system of ending discrimination against Blacks by starting it against Whites
He didn't start jack. Blacks need no help being racial, being discriminatory, being Black. That is similar to all this crap I read about how race relations were not bad until Obamanation become the HNIC. That is complete and utter BS.
For Whiskey,
King's Arrest Record:
http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/lapd/kingarrests.html
Young black man again.
I did not say racially profiling was by itself wrong nor did I say what GZ did was wrong.
Actually I belive that GZ was a very active watch man. He also wanted to be a cop. His instincts lead him to follow and confront TM. All TM had to do was say a simple hello can I help you.
GZ then could have said simply do you live out here or are you a guest? TM could have said F$ck off or answered his question or just kept walking. I seriously doubt GZ would have drawn on him if he walked away. But if TM just showed a bit of restraint or even the slightest bit of respect this would have been avoided.
The fact is GM lived there TM was a guest of his fathers girlfriend. Had TM not decide to be a bad a$$ and physically confront GZ it would not have ended like this.
Oh and for the record we have armed private security guards in our community. 100% controlled access. We pay for it and value it.
Sara @ June 17, 2012 6:49 PM brings up an interesting point.
She wrote, "...According to the Miami Herald, police were called to Twin Lakes 402 times in the 13 months prior to the killing. In that time, the community experienced eight burglaries, nine thefts, and a shooting. Young Black males were suspects in every single one of those crimes..."
402 service calls in 13 months prior to George Zimmerman taking out the garbage.
Anybody know how many calls for service they've received since then?
Good Riddance, TNB-Rodney.
Good riddance, Rodney, you worthless piece.
Why don't they just set aside an area in each McDonalds where black people can eek and ook at people, play basketball and sell drugs?

My God, is the whole country insane?
There's plenty of evidence for it. Obama for one.
The media is an enormously powerful tool, particularly if the audience is a little dull, lazy and/or mostly distracted.
Good thread. Excellent comment by Bogolyubski. I'd like to live long enough to hear the FBI tapes of St. Michael, but I don't expect them to change a thing. Don't confuse people with facts or truth, they only want to feel, which Derbyshire notes, at VDare, is far easier.
Too many people, even here, are desperately seeking some reason to absolve blacks for the havoc and destruction and despair they've wrought in this nation over the past 75 years (I'm being charitable and not going back to the War Between the States itself). On the left we have those whom Derbyshire says ". . . scare me. Behind their smooth girlish features and open, orthodontized smiles there lurks an icy intolerance, a coarse thuggishness, a blinkered determination to believe that the world is something other than what it is, and a closed, invincible conviction of their own moral perfection in so believing." On the right-liberal side we have people like Whiskey, who compares St. Michael with Washington and Franklin, and piously warns that George Washington was not "good," because he didn't free his poor magic negroes.
As Bogolyubski notes, Whiskey makes one valid point - the Ministry of Truth (I'm so stealing that) is probably more responsible for fomenting the riots than King was, and add to that the natural tendencies of blacks towards murder and mayhem, and you have L.A. Of course, discussing the Ministry of Truth entails discussing the Scots/Irish, and Whiskey goes totally off the reservation there.
I remember the D.C. riots when I was a kid, and my father couldn't drive into work safely, and we could no longer visit the National Geographic Museum because the area was too dangerous. I remember being mugged because, as a knee-jerk liberal, I ignored my natural instincts and fear when I saw two black males entering into my apartment building behind me; after all, there was that nice .1% black couple on the floor above me; they must be visiting them! We could all give anecdotal evidence contrary to Mr. Anonymous exceptional black man's anecdotal evidence that he's an exception and is a righteous and upstanding man beloved by his neighbors.
The point is, an exception is just that. I'm not willing to bet my children's safety, or my nation's future, on those rare exceptions who, by some quirk of nature or nurture, are outliers intent on disproving their DNA. How kind of anonymous black to admit St. Trayvon caused his own death. However, as Vanishing American notes, why must we have blacks say things which we, as Whites, are forbidden to say (nay, even think) for ourselves? Of course, that leads back to the Ministry of Truth, and I know Paul doesn't want to go there on his blog (and I respect his rules).
Dying does not negate what one did in life, it just makes one dead. Rodney King's life was one of drugs, violence, dependence, and trouble. His death put a end to one black man's path of destruction, for which I'm grateful.
Whiskey: George Washington, a man King George thought "the greatest man in the world" for refusing to be America's king, only freed his slaves upon both his and his wife's death, wanting full use of their slave labor.
It is intellectually dishonest to view Washington's actions through a 21st century lens. The manumission of his slaves was a magnanimous act on his part. Moreover, Blacks at that time were still largely regarded as subhuman animals, an impression which they vigorously reinforce to this very day. Watch the movie, "The Mission", for an accurate glimpse into how heathen non-Whites were regarded by clergy and lay people alike.
It is also a bit absurd to point out how a bunch of self-important terminal narcissists such as Sheen, Penn and Brown have feet of clay. They are all role models for morally defective people and not much else save for the quasi-political power their celebrity and wealth confers upon them.
Off topic (but apropos to the Los Angeles milieu of Rodney King): Whiskey, since a lot of your writing centers on the role of feminism in entertainment media, you may wish to get a copy of "City of Quartz" by Mike Davis. Here is an excerpt which I think you find rather intriguing:
Fading from the scene, first of all, are the famous 'Malibu Mafia' that engineered the election of Bradley in 1973, and then helped finance a stream of liberal victories in the aftermath of Watergate. Although Norman Lear is still kicking around, his energies have been long concentrated on 'People for the American Way', his antidote to moral majorities. Onto the vacuum left by Palevsky and Lear, meanwhile, have rushed baby boom glitzocrats ― politically powerful by colorlessly centrist young studio management from Fox, Disney and New World who were early backers of Dukakis in 1998. On their left flank is the Hollywood Women's Political Committee, which has molded part of the 1980s 'bratpack' into an aggressive liberal feminist cadre.
I have never understood the rhetoric about "freedom" in the context of the post Civil War black experience, unless "freedom" is understood as FDR would define it in Depression-era terms. Freedom means "freedom from want" primarily, i.e., freedom to have as much to eat and drink as possible, to party as if its 1999, all the time. I don't think it is any deeper than that. I think the Black "threat" can be contained by issuance of extremely generous food vouchers in exchange for total government control of their lives, up to and including manadatory birth control. Although there will be moral outrage from the neo-Midievalists the historical trend is on our side. MLK might have thought he could see the trend but he really couldn't, because he didn't foresee the rise of the Asian hegemonists. With that rise we in America will also see a concomitant rise in ethnocentricity. This movement will gain acceptance as the homogeneous Asian collosi grow in dominance. Multiculturalism has had its airtime in the USA because it has been fashionable in certain Anglophile elite circles, and that is all. Support for multiculturalism is, of course, really slim amongst the working people of this and most other advanced nations. Unfortunately for us in the USA we harbor a truly mendacious media elite worthy of a Joseph Goebbels award.
Black apologists like Whiskey make no sense to me. Blacks do not crave our pity. They just want what our people have created and the money we have earned.
Whiskey responds by (outing) evil Whitey. The thing about evil Whitey is they (paid) for their misdeeds by being sentenced, imprisoned and even murdered in (protective) custody like (Dahmer) for instance.
The preachers mentioned were outed and disgraced, most to never operate at their (Godly) pursuits ever again.
Why do Black apologists just keep on apologizing, even when someone as scummy as Rodney is held up as a (hero) in the news media and the internet goes into an orgasmic fit for him? Sickness!
Black America is nearing a watershed moment. Jeremiah Wright must be having heart palpitations just thinking about the prospects involved. If hyper-corrupt boxing "promoter" Don King, he of that finger-in-the-light-socket hairdo, were to suddenly take the dirt nap, the church of Black Liberation Theology would finally have its own "Three Kings".
River deep, mountain high...ask the Kings
The fire and foremost reaction I had to this guy's death was how this oxygen thief had his own swimming pool?? I've been working and paying taxes full-tilt for 30+ years, and I still don't have one. But let me guess.....he got a huge settlement from the LAPD. The way our society rewards losers like this sickens me.
Martin Luther King didn't preach non-violence because he was non-violent. It was a political move to gain favor for the movement.
Exactly. Non-violence was a tactic. It was a means to an end, a weapon the leftwing used in the 1950s and early 1960s to gain political objectives. It's worth studying the tactics of non-violence/civil disobedience to understand them--and possibly exploit their use.
I have to emphasize the "tactic" part. The left is quite adept at choosing its weapons based on the situation. By the mid-1960s, civil disobedience was no longer useful as there were no more segregationist laws to break. Effectively, the civil rights movement had gotten everything that it had demanded. So the movement changed tactics, employing massive use of force in urban and campus riots, and with terrorism ala the Weathermen and SLA. The goal was "The Revolution," the overthrow of "The Establishment." MLK was conveniently out of the picture by the time things started really heating up.
Anyway, there's a certain hypocrisy behind MLK and the practitioners of non-violence in those days. King's express purpose was to put the authorities in a position where they would have to respond with massive force. This often meant concentrating masses of demonstrators into cities and towns which lacked the means to deal with big protests. In those days, police departments were often small and lacked the training and equipment for riot control. The result was a certain amount of mayhem (see the Edmund Pettus Bridge Fracas). Given the national media coverage of events, it ended up on on the Motorola looking like the police attacking innocent demonstrators. This caused public opinion to swing to the side of the demonstrators.
Again, a useful tactic.
Another point to be considered is that the more violent wings of the civil rights movement, such as the Black Panthers, were useful in making the MLK "center" of the movement look respectable. And a MLK gave mainstream politicians someone whom they believed could keep blacks -- and their white radical allies -- under control. MLK benefited from the violence, regardless of the official party line.
The police eventually adapted their tactics to deal with civil disobedience. One way was to hang back and let the demonstrators run amok, waiting for TV to cover the mayhem live at five, and only then charging in with the batons and CS. While this may have meant losing the first stage of the battle, it was a matter of winning the war because it maintained public support behind the authorities. The police were now the heroes, rescuing the viewing public from anarchy. There's some thought that this is why LAPD pulled back during the opening round of the Rodney King Riot, by the way.
The police also up-armed, bringing in SWAT teams, paramilitary riot control tactics, armored vehicles, and a host of other things. For example, police departments established alliances among agencies which, in the event of civil disturbances, would bring in officers from all over the place. It became increasingly difficult for demonstrators to overwhelm small departments. Some departments today embed media with them to keep the press-TV on their side. And we've seen a raft of shows like COPS which place the viewer firmly in the squad card passenger seat.
Thing is, people today who want to protest the system need to understand the tactics. If the media is going to be on the side of the authorities, then it's a necessity to create alternative media, such as the Internet and social networking. And now that the left has become the establishment, BRA if you like, there needs to be study of how to throw them on the defensive by selecting the right tactics.
You just can't make this shit up.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2160977/Adidas-unveiling-new-trainer-orange-shackles-like-worn-black-slaves.html
As for "freedom," to BRA it does not mean what the term has traditionally meant in America: freedom to BRA is not a state of affairs where one is generally free from government controls, and one can express one's opinion and live one's life as long as you do not interfere with the life or property of other people. To BRA, "freedom" is a promised land in which blacks will have the same outcomes as do white people. Hence, the need for massive government interference in the form of affirmative action, busing, open housing, an end to states' rights, "diversity" indoctrination, censorship, glorification of "people's heroes" such as MLK, and ad nauseam.
In other words, "freedom" in BRA is a de facto totalitarian state.
Look at how the concept of the marketplace goes out the window with the triumph of the civil rights movement. A property owner is no longer free to sell his or her house to the person of their choice. Or how a business owner must hire according to government mandated quotas. And to enforce all this, the government "has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance."
A cynic might observe that this was the intent from day one, for DWLs to use the civil rights movement as a grand tactic to consolidate their own hold on the state.
We can see how "freedom" played out in post-colonial Africa. While prior to independence, African nationalists might have used the rhetoric of "freedom," the moment they were in power they mostly established themselves as dictators, clamped down on the opposition, ethnically cleansed their tribal foes (including whites who stuck around), and wrecked their economies.
Which gets me to my point. The struggle against DWLs/BRA can be played out as a struggle of freedom against a repressive system. Nothing bugs DWLs more than shoving it in their faces that they are The Establishment.
Here's a slogan: "Smash the Liberal Establishment!"
"You want to stop wild animals from tearing up your property? First, YOU STOP FEEDING them, secondly you put fences around your property to keep them out, and if that doesn't work you take it to the next step."
This. I truly believe the logic in the nanny state was to induce a dependence on government that would stabilize the situation and induce participation in the democratic process. The actual effect was different - more like trying to replace heroin addiction with methadone, only to find you still have a problem to deal with.
If racism was such an issue in America, immigrants would not succeed - yet they do (even the direct from Africa ones).
My experience with blacks (which is vast) has been that they profoundly dislike actual Africans - they negate the argument of racism when they succeed.

The picture you chose for this article, a negro pushing a shopping cart loaded with looted property past the burning store front is awesome.
The image captures the chaos, criminality and the general destruction of peace and order that follows the negro where ever they go. Negroes, violence, fires, looting and chaos, it's all a natural fit.
What is up with Black people and water? Surely Rodney was aware that only HOPE FLOATS! Just ask Whitney.

Anon.
Agreed. The best part is the St. Martin the Adulter's communist handlers were in all likelihood the ones who had him liquidated. His depravity was about to be made public by Hoover, who had the tapes - including one where he reportedly shouted I'm fuckin' for Jeezzzus - which I plan on making into a ringtone to annoy "Christian conservatives" who worship at his Satanic altar once 75 year term imposed by a Marxist federal judge (yet another one of those who must not be named) to "protect the family" (uh-huh - whose famiglia?) is up."
Really? OMG. I now have a reason to live. I want to have his tapes broadcast in an endless loop, at that enormous Chinese Commie Monument, so all the little kiddies can hear the Great Fraud's own words, in his own voice.
As bad as Obama is, most are still asleep. Romney will put them back to sleep. Many still need Obama to provide "teachable moments" that will never be forgotten.
Then maybe the Republicans or a third party can put up a candidate that will very selectively pick up the pieces.
Ex New Yorker here....Rodney King had to have been on GOOFBALLS (AKA..reds, downers) that night with the cops. From my time on the streets I learned about beating on "goofer heads". One night in Frisco my friend and I beat the crap out of a guy 5 times. Paul fought him twice and I fought with him 3 times. We beat on him until our fist were sore. He kept getting back up just like Rodney King. Then a Mexican guy beat the shit out of him. He then went into a lesbian bar and a bunch of dykes beat him with bar stools and finally knocked him out. The guy was on downers and felt no pain. A goofball head is also extremely aggressive. When they are stoned they do not know they are hurt. They feel the pain later when the drug wears off.

Since he didn't publish it, the following comment was apparently too hot for Sailer's site..
One has to ask: What would a country full of Rodney Kings be like?
Another useless black man, one who without a doubt cost society a lot more than he ever contributed, e.g. economically. The best thing that can be said about him: He wasn't a hardened, violent criminal. That should be his epitaph.
I think you have to be a bit warped to be "saddened" by his death. Although I can understand why his family and friends might be.
i guess you won't let me post this little ditty. JUST ANOTHER BLACK TURD DOWN THE TOILET! what is so offensive about that? man i'm losing faith with the web-site that i have done nothing but promote to all of my race-realist friends. what's going on man. i've read all the posts and mine is not one of those oh my god he just said what about a rich/broke black man. you better censor that guy man. "pissed off in pittsburgh!"

BRAVO!!
I too, lived to tell of those riots. I too, lived in fear for 3 days of getting to/from work. And to top it all off, my friend Scott Miller (LAFD) was shot in the neck by the same thugs, as he was en route to a fire they started.
I think it's sad that Rodney King is dead only because I'm sure he had at least one more big TNB event in him to help prove our point. When you ignore TNB and pretend that this guy was just a poor black dude who was randomly attacked by the cops like our media would have us believe, even sensible white people think that he deserved to win the "nigaball" lottery. He pretty much proved our point over the last 20 years. Rodney King was an asset to race realists.
Whiskey: George Washington, a man King George thought "the greatest man in the world" for refusing to be America's king, only freed his slaves upon both his and his wife's death, wanting full use of their slave labor.
George Washington freed all the slaves that legally belonged to him. He did not have the legal right to manumit the slaves that belonged to his wife's estate, because they were the property of his stepson, John Custis. She only had ownership rights during her lifetime, and could not sell or free them since they belonged to the Custis estate.
Also, since George Washington predeceased his wife by three years, he could not have "freed slaves on both his and his wife's death".
If you wonder why the right wing is blackballed from the media, the Rodney King incident is all we need to know. Taking negative images (particularly visual) and showing them repeatedly will end in predictable results. Just like cigarette commercials, they do effect people and can create intense emotions to the point of action. Now imagine a television station showing unfettered images of illegal aliens, black on white violence, and islamic bigotry and you can see how quickly the US population could be roused. All it would take is one network or station.
Apparently, the leftist indoctrination camps haven't been doing their jobs too well. Rodney King - Icon of the Civil Rights movement - is virtually unknown by the "younger generation." Ya gotta love it:
Who is Rodney King?
Hulk Hogan made a film where he broke handcuffs because he hulked up.
In LAPD land some gfuy jumped out of hid cuffs and broke them.
Rodney King was going to be shot by a CHP officer, and she would have had justifiable homicide, yet the LAPD guy got him to her holster her gun and Rodney King secular saint refused to understand! The LAPD guys were charged with saving the worthless waste of space's life,
So CAL Snowman: WHEN AFRICANS ARE FREE, NO ONE ELSE IS
Please permit me to alter the foregoing so it can be included in my Catalog of Race Realism Memes. As such:

Too true. The problem being that, even though Rodney King was not a really hardened criminal, that "one more big TNB event in him" could just as easily involved him causing the deaths of White people, as he narrowly avoided doing on the night of his parking lot therapy appointment in 1991.
A head on collision with a mini-van full of schoolchildren was completely within his reach and not to be desired.
eah: One has to ask: What would a country full of Rodney Kings be like?
A damn good question and one that all DWLs should be made to answer truthfully, at gunpoint if necessary.
I think you have to be a bit warped to be "saddened" by his death.
I agree. He was just another dangerous parasite who fell prey to a status symbol he probably used very rarely himself. Thank goodness he didn't manage to take anyone else with him.
One STDV has a most illuminating insight into the groid mentality:
It appears then that the best way to attain status as a revered black figure is to get murdered by white people or become a professional racial agitator. Very few "greatest African-American" list include people who actually did something. White people make monuments to producers and innovators; black people make monuments for martyrs and rabble-rousers. Ostensibly, blacks have a far more limited class of individuals to choose from, the putative scientific or philosophical genius not exactly a common occurrence amongst blacks. But one imagines that the antagonistic nature of these glorified black figures reflects the primary motivation of the black collective. In almost all these cases, the prominent black figure does nothing but stick it to white people. Thus, blacks don't want to celebrate their own achievements, instead preferring to pay tribute to those who merely antagonize or undermine whites. In sum, it seems that the black conception of their own collective, founded more in hating whites than supporting their communities, is yet another unhealthy reality of modern black America.
He did forget to mention that afros were flying aeroplanes around the Egyptian pyramids they designed before the white devils unleashed by Yakub's experiment-gone-wrong shot them down, but few outside the club with the secret decoder cellphones have that knowledge anyway.
"...Thank goodness he didn't manage to take anyone else with him..."
I think you meant why didn't he take a couple of hundred other useless, dangerous negroes with him?

To a degree, this is where the Internet comes in. It's an alternative media, and it has been responsible, in part, for undermining the credibility of the mainstream media.
Anyone fighting the system needs to exploit the Internet as part of a more general cultural insurrection. Think of a day when only ten percent of the people watch television, while the majority of Americans are tuning in to SBPDL podcasts.
Christianity continues to go down.
"The largest U.S. Protestant denomination chose its first black president on Tuesday, an historic election for the predominately white religious group as it seeks to better reflect the diversity of the country and its membership.

The election came just weeks after church officials said race relations within the convention, the founding of which has ties to slavery, had suffered due to racially charged remarks made by the group's longtime ethics chief.
Richard Land, president of the convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, was reprimanded on June 1 for accusing black leaders of trying to use the February killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin by a white and Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida for political gain."

Just thought I'd mention that there are a hell of a lot of black-on-white mob attacks this summer just like last summer. It's not getting covered on this website this time (not that it has to be, there are other items to write about).

So CAL Snowman: Zenster : Feel free to add it to the catalog. Stoked that I'm in there!
It's in the catalog and thank you for allowing the modification. I'm thinking of asking the various contributors to please provide a one paragraph explanation of the how and why behind each meme.
If I'm fortunate, I might be able to construct an essay with sub-parts based on each meme. But that's about as likely as (to quote Fred Hoyle):
A junkyard contains all the bits and pieces of a Boeing 747, dismembered and in disarray. A whirlwind happens to blow through the yard. What is the chance that after its passage a fully assembled 747, ready to fly, will be found standing there?
Despite such odds, you can be damn sure that I'll give it a try.

And even worse for Page, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Detroit says he is now facing 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of theft of bank funds, $1,543,104 in total between December 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009.

This is an argument that is frequently made by SWPL white liberals. "Nothing's ever happened to me so what's the problem?!" Crime stats and documented media reports carry quite a bit more weight than your minor anecdotes.
I've walked through Chicago's tourist areas many times and have not been mugged. Wow, I guess that means dozens of people haven't been beaten and robbed in black-on-white attacks and that there haven't been dozens shot and killed in Chicago the last couple of weekends! That's a relief that my personal experience invalidates DOJ and FBI crime stats along with hundreds of news stories.

Actually, I regret making the comment I did, as I more than most people actually know how eminently possible and even likely it is to posit such a situation these days.
I guess this is a situation in which I really can't come back with anything to say; For whatever it's worth, and it's probably not worth much in these forums, but there is absolutely nothing that makes me feel more ideologically neutered and empty than do instances of these kind of attacks. My reaction's probably some sort of reflexive urge to distinguish myself and others like me who do recoil from this kind of association ------ but all that is cold comfort, i know, for anyone who's on the other end of this kind of trauma.
