The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis plans to build a center on West Florissant Avenue in Ferguson, where a charred QuikTrip now sits, allowing the organization to expand its job training and education efforts.
A press conference is set for Monday afternoon to announce details, which the Urban League would not provide today.
In a notice to media on Friday, the Urban League said the announcement will be "an important extension of its services in North County to further the League’s mission of empowering communities and changing lives."
The center will "expand the Urban League’s work to broaden access to education/job training, employment and economic self-reliance for residents of the St. Louis metro area," the news release states.
A source involved in the negotiations said QuikTrip will tear down the remains of the store, looted and burned on Aug. 10, the day after Michael Brown was fatally shot by a Ferguson police officer. The convenience store chain also will remove the underground gas tanks. Several donors will provide funding for the Urban League to build a "community empowerment center" on the site, which became ground zero for protests after the Brown shooting.
QuikTrip and the Urban League have been in negotiations for several months to put a center on the site of the burned convenience store, at 9420 West Florissant Avenue, a source said.
The new center will house the newly implemented Save Our Sons program, which landed $1.2 million in donations from St. Louis area companies in the wake of the unrest in Ferguson. The goal is to take 500 young men, jobless or underemployed, from north St. Louis County and give them a month’s training in how to land a job, keep it and get promoted. From there, the men will be matched with a job at a local company. Putting 500 men through the program is expected to take several years.The Urban League, which announced the program in January, came up with the idea after talking with young, unemployed men.
Jobs have long been discussed as the solution to getting young men off the streets and out of trouble. The unemployment rate for black men in St. Louis County has run at triple the rate for whites. From 2011 to 2013, black joblessness averaged 17 percent against 5.8 percent for whites, according to the Census Bureau.The symbolism of the Urban League building a center on the very land the QuikTrip once stood amounts to a stunning declaration of victory over the once all-white city of Ferguson and its conquest in the name of Africa. I disagree that individual whites feel guilty. The "white guilt" meme is overused and describes no real phenomenon. The typical DWL doesn't feel guilty at all. I didn't, it was a number of factors. Allow me to expound.
1. Because a rifle, even a folding stock rifle, is a 26 to 46 inch sign that says SHOOT ME. At 100 yards or so a man in the crowd with an AK is going to be noticed far more than an Orc with a handgun. Once he fires, he is a target and can't make his gun "disappear" into his pants or jacket.
2. The low power of the strikes and the pass through shoulder shot. A FMJ bullet from a semi-auto handgun is a notoriously poor stopper, pass through is quite common, without ripping too much flesh. he cops were BOTH discharged from the hospital the same night, With a high power rifle (like an AK) or pistol round (like a 44 mag softnose), we would be reading about the pieces of the cops they could not find, not how they were going home the same night.
Ergo: ASSUMING it was a handgun because of the ability to conceal it, what type of handgun would a Orc use to shoot at cops with little or no planning and would do little damage with a head strike and a shoulder strike?

You are my favorite commenter on this blog, many times it is as though you are taking the words out of my mouth or are articulating my thoughts better than I could. You just get it, the whole big picture, and have a gift in expressing it.
These commercials are absolutely one of the best tools at the disposal of our enemies for keeping the average disengaged white person from diagnosing black dysfunction and its destructive effects on white societies, precisely because of the subtlety in its deployment. When I call these media image and language manipulations a "tool," it is because that is exactly what it is = formed like a wrench, with an upper and lower jaw that locks around a movable nut or bolt, that can then be manipulated.
The upper jaw of the media wrench is concealing, downplaying, and refusing to identify black crime and violence. This is accomplished with passive voice journalism (which I've covered to death,) colorblind euphemisms like "teens" and "youths" etc..., and choosing to make white on black crimes (the rarest) seem commonplace and epidemic.

I've even noticed on TV shows like MSNBC's "Lockup" that they only film in locations where there are going to be large numbers of white or hispanic inmates, or at least few black, such as Iowa, etc... Those kinds of images and roles are solely for white consumption. They exist so that whites can imagine blacks being just like them, and will self-police themselves and their thoughts if they ever drift toward having a "racist" observation, should they ever notice that is not how blacks are in real life.
And that is the wrench, the vice, gripping from two sides: hide black problems, exaggerate and invent from whole cloth black prosperity so that whites end up with a distorted view of reality and can justify in their own mind holding DWL views. After a lifetime of consuming countless images that reinforce that non-reality/fantasy they react very hostilely to anyone who interrupts the delusion, because you can't logically remain a DWL once the truth is known.

Why? That would be closer to reality than the lawfully wedded couple, million dollar home type of blacks in every commercial. But you would never see it happen. Why?
Blacks can only be shown as overachievers on screen. Period. DWL couldn't exist without such images.
I disagree that individual whites feel guilty. The "white guilt" meme is overused and describes no real phenomenon. The typical DWL doesn't feel guilty at all.
BS, it's what makes white people act irrationally and it also fuels political correctness which then prevents the discussion of racial issues. It's why DWLs give to things like black community centers instead of asking basic questions like: is there a genetic component to racial inequality?
The guilt is real. It comes from a belief that white people are responsible for most of the world's problems and the inequality between blacks and whites. That belief is taught in the schools and the media.
Are liberal leaders filled with guilt? Some of course are psychopaths that don't feel guilt and only use liberalism as a path to power. But the widespread white guilt phenomenon is real and a major problem.
I just finished an MBA program in which one of the instructors was a die hard leftist who, according to his vitae, spent much of his time dedicated to fighting climate change and other lefty causes. Long story short, one of his classroom exercises pertained to cap and trade and how it "should" be used to protect certain species of fish in the straits of Alaska. I presented an argument why cap and trade is pointless in which foreign markets, specifically Russian economics, will always circumvent these market restrictions. Well, the instructor didn't like any challenges to his model and he proceeded to call me a "flat-earther" and an idiot for not supporting cap and trade. Of course no one else in the class supported me either, I stood alone but didn't back down or resort to name calling. My only regret was not recording the interaction to show just how fucked up our education system has become. Also, I would like to think the interaction would be of great interest to some media outlets.
What I want to know is why after all these years of total mayhem and savagery there has never been any kind onslaught inside any book stores.
SBPDL readers need to be educated about the institutional racism of bookstores. Bookstores are filled with books, and books are filled with white paper. Every time a beautiful black person looks at a "book," he or she is reminded of the terrible legacy of slavery where beautiful black persons were forced to pick white cotton. Black people, therefore, know they are not welcome in your so-called "book" stores.
What is needed is for books to be printed on black paper. This would atone for 400 years of books being printed on white paper. I for one am working for the day where one can open a book and be greeted by beautiful black paper.

My only point in mentioning a black single mother on public assistance is that there is no way that any producers would EVER sign off on such an idea. It wouldn't even have to be something intentionally antagonistic or controversial like your idea. Even if the fictional mother were treated in a fair or even noble depiction during the commercial, there would be agitprop groups outraged that someone had cast a black female to play such a role. There would be all kinds of claims that it "reinforces negative stereotypes" and the like.
The unspoken rule is that blacks must never be depicted in any way other than glowingly in media. PERIOD. To the degree that blacks can be shown in a negative (meaning their true) light, it comes with the caveat that it must somehow be to show the devastating effects of racism, white privilege, etc... in marginalizing them to the bottom rungs of society.
The social engineer/media analysts/TWMNBN types discovered that most white people will turn off or choose not to voluntarily view TV shows and movies centering around blacks. The majority of whites, other than only the sickest of the DWLs or young children who are naturally open to suggestion, have no natural desire to watch blacks. This provides a certain immune system to programming, so it had to be circumvented if positive black images were to be inserted in the white public consciousness. This was done initially via the promotion of sports and then later in commercials, which come on at random and are over with by the time most recognize a black subject, then get the urge to change from them. This was a very clever way to overcome that natural aversion.
Without those two things (sports and commercials) there are virtually no positive images of or accomplishments by blacks that exist on their own merits. It is why both are ramrodded at the public to counteract any realization that whites may have when evaluating blacks as a net negative.
One of the most tried and true commercial formulas (that dates back to pre-television radio advertising) is a duet conversation scenario involving someone clumsy, careless, or foolish, and someone that is smart/prepared. Either the product being advertised comes up in casual conversation with the clueless actor being informed about and walked through its usefulness, or the intelligent person fixes a problem that the foolish one either created or encountered and could not fix on their own, demonstrating the invaluable product in the process. There are at least two hundred examples of this type of commercial running at any given time. There is a reason ad agencies run this kind of thing, it is simple, effective, and has a nearly 100 year track record of working very well.
Now, the "idiot" in this template style ad is ALWAYS a slovenly pear shaped incompetent white beta man, and the intelligent one is either a woman or a non-white male, always confident, well dressed, authoritative, deep voiced, barrel chested, and correcting/informing the white imbecile man, while generally positioned next to the white female who will be impressed by the superiority of the non-white, with the white man being relegated to the background. This is no accident. Every single aspect of everything is evaluated in post production to have the most visual, subconscious impact in 15-30 seconds. Blacks are not the ones who produce these commercials nor insist on these tropisms being present in all of them.
When you grasp which group DOES make the commercials and shoves these images on a white population that it actively works to divest, then you'll have a complete view of what we face and why.
So, they've destroyed QT, an actual employer in the community, and one which pays relatively well, by the way, in favor of a "community center" to train young men to get and keep a job. But they won't be able to work at QT, or Big Lots, or any other company that actually wants to make a profit, and not just be a school for shoplifting, or worse. But I suppose they'll be prepared to work in the city government, or some other all-black sinecure protected by "equal opportunity" and "affirmative action" (read: legalized anti-white discrimination). But where will the city get the money to fund its "workers" when property values collapse and white property-owners flee for their lives?

DWLs can act selfishly and also out of guilt. There is no rulebook they must follow. Their actions can in fact be completely contradictory. They can demand more funds for blacks while avoiding their own taxes. In their minds it is acceptable because at the end of they day they are still morally superior. DWLs are by definition deluded and deluded people will make all sorts of rationalizations for contradictory behavior.

In that case, it's not a good idea to describe it as "white guilt"; it's a phony guilt, as I've been saying. Also, tactically, attributing a superior morality to your enemy is a bad move. The "left" understands this. They call you a racist to dehumanize and demonize you, to paint you as immoral, and this has been a winning tactic for them. Does the "right" learn the necessary lesson and respond accordingly? NO! They attribute superior morality to their opponent. When has this ever been thought a good idea? In WWII, did Hitler's opponents say, "His motives are pure, but he's just deluded"?
Proceeding in this way, trying to make its case with phony "quotations" from imaginary books, operating under phony ideas like "white guilt", it's no wonder that the "right" can make no headway; no wonder that for 70 years its history has only been one of increasing marginalization and continual defeat.
