#WakandaIsntReal: Remembering the Mid-1990s "Your mother didn't raise you to be a drunk" ad campaign targeted at Black Males

American Ruins by Camilo Jose Vergara is one of the books you aren't supposed to be know exists. Vergara is a photographer, who over many years documented the decline of once thriving, all-white areas, now in state a perpetual degradation courtesy of the black population dwelling amidst skyscrapers and structures this racial group is incapable of either replicating or maintaining.
These ads, targeted at black males, where found throughout the blighted ruins of urban American cities in the mid-1990s

Vergara is a committed leftist. He lets slip one of the reasons why the magnificent buildings of yesterday are allowed to decline into nothing more than degraded memories of stone and steel, when he wrote:
Black and Latino elected officials are reluctant to commit scarce resources to reclaim buildings that once welcomed people of color only as shoeshine boys, elevator operators, janitors, foundry workers, and maid. (p. 13)
All of those vocations provide admirable, honest work, but in the absence of white people - who built the buildings and sustained an economy providing these service positions - the only remnants of their civilization for the now majority population of people of color are the buildings and structures they lack the mental acumen to understand how to maintain from the cruel elements of time and neglect.

There is one passage in American Ruins fitting for our current year, where enthusiasm and anticipation for Black Panther is whipping black people up into absolute hysteria, a zeal for the fictional world of Wakanda where blacks have developed the most technologically advanced civilization in human history.

Reading American Ruins and looking upon the blight and dilapidated structures Vergara's documents in melancholy photos (built long ago by white people who subsequently abandoned their cities when migrating blacks from southern states made living in them an untenable proposition) helps clarify the lie black labor built the United States.

Indeed, once white people abandoned Newark, Detroit, Camden and other northern cities, the now majority black population became stewards of a civilization they believe themselves to not only superior to, but whose unacknowledged labor they feel is directly responsible for creating.

In reality, the collapsing structures (white people long ago built) and edifices of once magnificent buildings is but a reflection of the collective capacity for civilization represented in the now majority black population who resides in places such as Newark and Detroit:
On New Year's Day 1995 in the Central Ward of Newark, I saw the first of many billboards depicting the solitary but anguished hollering face of a young black man placed horizontally along with a line of text. The image was unforgettable, and its location, among the abounded buildings and empty lots, acknowledged a national tragedy just where it was most intensely felt. The billboard, like a patch, seemed to be holding together the derelict structures supporting it.
I saw the face as I traveled to Chicago, Detroit, and New York City. The billboards came with different texts. I preferred the one with the words "Your mother" in large letters at the top. I interpreted the phrase as referring to all that had once been nurturing: the neighborhood, the buildings, the people, even the earth itself. For a while I ignored the rest of the sentence, but below the face the text continued "...Didn't raise you to be a drunk." The other version said, "Dead men can't jump," with "Don't drive drunk" below the image.
This was not a work of environmental art in the tradition of Robert Smithson, Jenny Holzer, Barbara Kruger, or Dennis Hollier. I had come across an ad campaign, a public-service announcement designed to discourage young black men from excessive drinking. The ads were sponsored by Coors Brewery, Vibe, the Box, and Black Entertainment Television and designed by Uniworld Group, a New York-based, black-owned advertising agency. These billboards had long been rented for beer advertisements for Coors, and Coors donated the remainder of their leases to this extraordinary example of shock advertising.
Ghettos are full of glamorous images that encourage people to drink and smoke. Designers at Uniworld Group and black community leaders in Nw York City emphasized that alcoholism among young black males was a serious problem, and the signs were designed to grab the attention of this group. This campaign, they felt, was a step in the right direction. In explaining the election of ghettos for the placement of the signs, Byron Lewis, the chairman of Uniworld, stated, "We were not hired to communicate to the white community."
It is doubtful that such signs would have been allowed in more affluent black or mixed neighborhoods. They were yet another symbol that visually defined ghettos, giving a symbolic cry to the most desolate of them. The billboards are gone, but I can still imagine a chorus of piercing screams coming from hundreds of huge open mouths all hollering together.  (p. 198 - 199)
Wakanda isn't real; but the ruins of white Americans civilization, courtesy of a racial group lacking in all self-awareness, is tragically too real.

Black Funeral Home Director Puts Up Billboard in Columbus, Ohio Calling Out Blacks Killing Each Other, Proving Black Lives Don't Matter

Black Lives Matter?

Nope.

Not at all. [Theodore Decker: Funeral home’s billboards meant to wake the city up, The Columbus Dispatch, 1-30-18]:
The billboard is blunt by design.
“Black Lives SHOULD Matter, Especially to BLACK PEOPLE. STOP THE VIOLENCE. We don’t want your business That bad.
The bearer of this message is Marlan J. Gary, and his business is funerals.
Columbus is coming off a year of horrendous homicidal violence. There were 143 killings in 2017, a total unlike anything the city had seen in decades. The old record of 139 homicides occurred in 1991.
That was the year Gary came to Columbus. He was in his early 20s, and the surging homicide rate was not something a young man in a new town thought much about.
“I just wasn’t community-minded, even to have an opinion,” he said.
Now he is a 48-year-old father of two, a community-minded businessman and, as the billboard makes clear, a holder of opinions.
This latest advertisement for Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home went up about two weeks ago on two billboards: one at East Main Street and Nelson Road on the Near East Side and another at East 5th and Woodland avenues.
Gary has advertised on billboards for years, and occasionally he alters the messages to reflect holidays or celebrate Black History Month.
The start of a new year, coming hard on the heels of such a violent one, seemed to him a good time to make a point.
Black funeral home director calls out blacks for killing each other in Columbus, Ohio
In 2017, 111 of the city’s homicide victims were black, and all but of 10 of them were males. The median age was 29. Fewer than half of the killings have been solved, but Gary intuits that most of these young black male victims were killed by other young black men. He’s handled the arrangements for more homicide victims than he can count, and he knows this as surely as the police do.
So far, the response to his message has been positive. He said he doesn’t know if he’ll receive any push-back for co-opting the language of the Black Lives Matter movement that began in 2013 in response to police killings of black people.
These issues matter to Gary, who is black and has a son about to turn 18 years old.
In 2015, Gary irked the Columbus Division of Police with billboards that directly addressed the BLM movement by offering advice to young black men (cooperate, don’t commit crimes, don’t run) and to officers (“You can stop me without killing me” and “I deserve a day in court, not in a casket”).
The Police Division released a statement in response that it was “disappointed” by the message, given officers’ community-policing efforts.
“I’m all in support of the Black Lives Matter movement,” Gary said on Friday. “At the same time, I realize that it has to matter to us before it matters to anybody else.
“The bottom line is that I don’t bury a whole lot of people who were killed by police,” he said. “Right now, I’m burying a lot of black people who are killed at the hands of black people.”
Has one billboard ever exposed the fraudulent nature of an entire movement as this one inadvertently did?

The Philadelphia Inquirer Profiles Black Males in Philadelphia Going Into the Family Business... and Sharing a Jail Cell with their Fathers

Didn't Richard Herrnstein and James Q. Wilson already settle the reasons behind a predisposition to criminality among family members? [Father. Son.Cellmates.GENERATIONS OF PHILLY FAMILIES ARE INCARCERATED TOGETHER, Philadelphia Inquirer, 1-25-18]:

AS THE BUS RATTLED toward the State Correctional Institution-Graterford, Jorge Cintron Jr. could barely contain his excitement, a nearly childlike giddiness. Though the journey had been 14 hours, most of it in shackles, he wasn’t close to tired.
To the other weary inmates in mustard-yellow “D.O.C.” jumpsuits, what loomed ahead was just another prison: same bars and barbed wire, same bland food, same thin mattresses. But Cintron was about to be with his father, his namesake — the role model he had followed into the drug world, into court on murder charges, and then into prison, their twin life sentences imposed eight years apart.
It had been 20 years since he had last seen the man everyone said he took after. “Lil Lolo,” his father’s friends from Philadelphia’s Fairhill section would call him. Now, he was about to come face to face with Jorge Cintron Sr., Lolo himself.
“I hadn’t hugged my father in so many years, or heard his voice,” Cintron Jr. said.
“It was bittersweet, because we’re both in prison and having to see each other in here.”
Since that day in 2011, Cintron Jr., 38, has lived on the same cell block as his father, who is 58. Recently, the cell next door to his dad’s became available, so he moved in. Each evening, by 9 p.m., they lock themselves into cells 86 and 87 of A Block for the night.
Their story is, in some ways, not an unusual one. All around them are inmates who come from the same neighborhoods, the same city blocks or even the same households. Father and son hail from one of the most heavily incarcerated communities in one of the most incarcerated cities in the country. And just as crime gravitates to certain neighborhoods, it also clusters in families: According to one criminologist’s analysis of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health, 5 percent of families account for more than 50 percent of all arrests.
Numerous studies have found that individuals whose parents have committed crimes are at least two times more likely to be perpetrators themselvesSexual offending runs in familiesSo does violent crime.
In Pennsylvania, the Department of Corrections does not keep statistics on familial relationships between inmates. Graterford’s public-information officer said she had no way of tracking it.
But Darryl Goodman, who was locked up with his own father at Graterford before dedicating his life to helping at-risk young people, has been piecing together a data set with help from inmates at the 25 prisons around the state. By his most recent reckoning, (and it’s hard to keep up, as inmates constantly are being moved) there were 243 fathers in state prisons with their sons. At Graterford alone, he counted 41 father-son pairs, including 17 sets of cellmates. He found seven families in which a father, son and grandson were all locked up together.
Cintron Jr. finds those numbers plausible: “On the block right now, there are probably three or four sets of brothers. And there are fathers and sons on my block.
Just on the block alone, there are families, cousins. There is nothing for it. It’s the cycle. It’s the generational curse.”
That crime runs in families is not news to those in corrections.
But that there are regular family reunions in the visiting rooms of state prisons reflects an incarceration rate that — despite attempts to turn the tide — remains at near historically high levels and deeply concentrated in poor communities of color.
By one estimation, there are 36,000 black men ages 25 to 54 missing from Philadelphia, either killed or incarcerated. Philadelphia leaders are working to cut the city jail roster by one-third in three years, while the state system has shed about 3,000 inmates since the population peaked at more than 51,000 inmates in 2009. But these efforts seek to bend a curve that tracked upward for decades. Pennsylvania admitted more than 19,000 state inmates in 2016, including parole violators; that annual figure remains double what it was 20 years ago, even as the violent crime rate has declined.
Well, at least these formerly fatherless black criminals get to meet their dads in jail...

Conan O'Brien Went to Haiti to Virtue Signal Against Trump and His White Supporters: He Stayed at a Resort Costing $114 a Night, While the Per Capita Income of a Haitian is $350 per year

Shot.

Conan O'Brien went to Haiti recently to virtue signal against President Donald J. Trump (and his overwhelmingly white supporters) for his purported "sh-thole" comments regarding African nations. He stayed at the Wahoo Bay Beach Club, one of the "top" resorts located in the oldest black republic in the world. You can book a two week stay for about $114 dollars a night.... [Conan went looking for a 's---hole' in Haiti. He found something else, Miami Herald, 1-25-18]:
Conan O'Brien in Haiti, seeking comforts we consider normal in one of the few westernized portions of the African island... a nights stay at the Wahoo Bay Beach Club would set you back a jaw-dropping $114

And yes, there was a moment when the trip got a little tense. At Place Boyer in Petionville in the hills of Port-au-Prince, an angry crowd gathered and someone accused him of being another American journalist parachuting in to report negatively on “our country and never showing our beautiful beaches.” After reminding the crowd that he is a comedian, not a journalist, O’Brien took the comment to heart and headed north to Wahoo Bay Beach on the Côte-des-Arcadins, a picturesque area widely known as the Haitian Riviera.
Chaser.

Wahoo Bay Beach is one of the few resorts for foreigners to stay at in Haiti, offering western amenities virtually no other portion of the island can replicate. Why might this be, on an island where the black inhabitants routinely eat dirt cakes for sustenance? Because the average annual per capita income comes to roughly the cost of three nights at the Wahoo Bay Beach Club...:
For some reason, Conan O'Brien's trip to Haiti, one of those "shithole" countries President Trump reportedly lambasted, left out the dirt cakes the Africans in Haiti eat as part of their daily bread.

Economic condition:
In Haiti the average annual per capita income is about $350. About 37% of the population live in urban areas and their income averages $409 per year. Of those living in the rural areas, 80% live in dire poverty.
Conan O'Brien can showcase the inhabitants of the oldest black republic on earth all he wants, but staying at the nicest resort on the island is perhaps the most hilarious example of a Potemkin Village in recorded history.

The rest of the island?

Nothing more than an African population collectively creating the conditions we would describe as "shitholes" when compared to what we have created in the West. After all, aqueducts built by Romans more than 2,000 years ago still provide potable water for Europeans in the former Roman Empire.

Perhaps Black Hair Products at Walmart's across the USA are Locked Behind Glass Due to Pattern Recognition by Store Managers/Corporate Executives...

Previously on SBPDL: Black Councilwoman in Philadelphia pushes to ban bulletproof glass (Protecting Store Employees) because it represents an "Indignity" to Black People

Bulletproof glass is the greatest indicator the civil rights movement ushered in a great lie, replacing common sense measures to protect both private business, those employed by the business, and products sold within the store (cough... cough... Jim Crow).

Keep this in mind as we read about perhaps the greatest reminder why businesses should have the right to discriminate and the abdication by state to protect freedom of association ultimately dooms all retail stores in America to shuttering. [Walmart 'segregated,' locked up African-American hair products, lawsuit alleges, WCPO.com, 1-27-18]:

Attorney Gloria Allred announced Friday a lawsuit against Walmart over discrimination allegations stemming from African-American hair products.
Pattern recognition is the greatest threat to the Egalitarian World Order...
The famed attorney held a news conference with Essie Grundy, who said she was discriminated against based on her race at a Perris, Calif., Walmart on Jan. 12.
Allred alleges Walmart is in violation of California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, prohibiting businesses from discriminating against customers based on race."[She] discovered that the cream and other hair products meant for African Americans had been locked away behind glass shelves and were segregated from products for non-African Americans,' Allred said, noting that the other products were not locked away and Grundy was told she had to be escorted to the cash register to purchase the products.
Allred said Walmart was also in violation of California business practices:
Speaking on behalf of Grundy, Allred said Grundy was told by a Walmart employee said the products were locked under a "directive from corporate headquarters."
"We think that it perpetuates a racial stereotype that African American customers should be suspected of being thieves and criminals," Allred said. "Essie and her family have suffered enough."
Following Allred's reading of the lawsuit, Grundy read her own statement, saying in part:
"I was angry, sad, frustrated, and humiliated all at the same time. It was so emotional it's hard to describe. I know there is a lot of racism out there, but I have never been faced with it up close."
Walmart has noted before that the protective measures are part of a normal practice to minimize product thefts of at-risk items.
In a statement to KTLA, a Walmart spokesperson said the retailer makes product decision on a case-by-case basis:
“The decision about which items are subject to additional in-store security is made on a store-by-store basis and often at the discretion of the store manager."
Malls are closing across America.

Retail stores are shuttering from sea to shining sea, leaving once thriving strip smalls nothing more than vacant eyesores.

The demographic reality behind the collapse of malls, retail stores, and bankruptcy of retail chains is obviously correlated, though few people, if any, will publicly note this easily discernible truth. The same reason heavily black areas of America are food deserts is the exact same reason Walmart's across the USA have managers whose spreadsheets denoting frequently stolen items compel them to add an extra layer of security to black haircare products.

Without freedom of association (the ability to discriminate), retail stores across America will continue to close, with those staying open forced to put more and more of the products for sell behind locked glass.

If black hair products are locked up, while hair products for non-blacks remains freely accessible to consumers on shelves in Walmart's across America, it's clear pattern recognition has been deployed by store managers or the corporate executives when it comes to frequency of black haircare products being stolen by customers or employees (shrinkage).

Not one white person was the victim or suspect of a homicide in 2017 Syracuse, a 56 percent white city

In 1970, Syracuse, New York was nearly 90 percent white.

Today, Syracuse is about 56 percent white.

It's now a 29 percent black city and is 8.3 percent Hispanic.

Why mention this?

Every homicide in 2017 - all 21 of them - involved both a non-white suspect and non-white victim. [Remembering Syracuse's 21 homicide victims of 2017, Syracuse.com, 1-8-18]:
Meet the 21 people killed in Syracuse in 2017
Not one white person was the victim or suspect of a homicide in 2017 Syracuse, a 56 percent white city
A high school student. Two immigrant brothers chasing the American dream. A father whose only child was less than a year old.
Those are four of the 21 people killed in Syracuse in 2017.
There were 10 fewer homicides last year than in 2016, the deadliest year in Syracuse's history.
Every victim killed in 2017 was a male. Five were teenagers. And so far, the Syracuse Police Department has solved 16 of the 21 homicides.
Barbara J. Smith is one of the mothers mourning the loss of her son. Her son, James Smith Jr., was shot to death in December in his childhood home.
"I don't think I'll ever have relief," she said. "It's something I'll never forget."
Here are the 21 men and boys killed in Syracuse last year.
Out of a population of just over 140,000 people, Syracuse is roughly 56 percent white. And in 2017, not one white person in this city was murdered or was the suspect in a homicide.

What does this simple case study say about violence, proclivity to lapses in impulse control, and pattern recognition help illustrate about race in America?

Why is Buffalo's "Danger Zone" Populated Almost Exclusively by Black People?

Buffalo.

A 46 percent white city. It also is home to a black population representing 38 percent of the city's population.

But like any city in America with a majority-minority population, this plurality is a municipality where black people are responsible for basically all the violent crime/homicides. [At the heart of the city's gun violence epidemic is a roughly nine-block area that is home to about 700 people: BUFFALO'S DANGER ZONE, The Buffalo News, June 9, 2017]:
Jacqueline Wells’ grandson was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Buffalo’s Goodyear Avenue a few days after Christmas in 2013.
One of three bullets fired from inside a black Chevrolet Impala struck then-25-year-old Tieshawn Greene in the buttocks.
Gun violence is nothing new for Greene’s family.
Buffalo, a 46 percent white/38 percent black city in New York, is one of America's most violent municipalities. Any guess why? Hint: black people.
Three of Greene’s uncles have died in shootings in Buffalo over the last 21 years. They were 33, 29 and 36 years old.
“We know that death is part of life,” Wells said. “You got to die, but not that way.”
At the epicenter of Buffalo’s gun violence is a neighborhood that straddles part of Genesee Street, east of Moselle Street. About 700 people live there.
Of the 287 neighborhoods known as census “block groups” in Buffalo, this one has had the most shootings over the last six years, according to a Buffalo News analysis of city police data.
In this roughly nine-block area, 47 people were shot in 80 incidents from 2011 through 2016, according to Buffalo Police. Someone was hurt or killed in 45 of those incidents.
This danger zone sits just west of Bailey Avenue, and is officially designated by the U.S. Census Bureau as block group No. 360290036003.
It includes Goodyear Avenue, where Greene was shot.
It also includes Burgard Place, where Mike King was hit four times, in the back and arm, by gunshots in 2003.
King described life in the neighborhood like living “in a war zone.”
Others stress this East Side neighborhood is filled with good people, despite the public perception.
“Everyone is not going to shoot you,” Takesha Leonard, a nurse practitioner at a health clinic on Genesee Street said of the residents there. “But if all you watch is that television, I would never walk foot in here.”
The entire East Side accounts for about three-quarters of all shootings in Buffalo during the last six years but only a third of the city’s population, according to an analysis of the Police Department shooting data.
Buffalo’s East Side has been marred by disproportionate violence for decades. It’s where gang activity is concentrated, according to police. It’s also where many people live in poverty, amid poor schools and few businesses.
“Five or 10 years ago, the rule of thumb was every family either had a shooting in it or knew somebody” whose family did, said Gary Steeves, pastor at Resurrection Lutheran Church and Resurrection Life Ministries at Genesee and Doat streets.
“Now … it’s more that every family’s had more than one, or knows somebody with more than one.”
Over the last six years, nearly 1,300 people have been shot on Buffalo’s streets.Citywide, shootings were up 23 percent last year, compared to the average from 2011 through 2015, according to police data.
But there are some Buffalo neighborhoods where the risk of being shot is greater than in others.
The neighborhood looks similar to the rest of the East Side. Amid well-kept homes and gardens, there’s also empty lots, abandoned homes and vacant storefronts.
From street to street, the landscape changes from densely populated blocks to stretches of open space.
A few roadside memorials for victims of violence dot the streets, including a pink toy bear clinging to a tree on Moselle Street, near Box Avenue.
There also are houses with signs in the front yard supporting anti-violence groups.
There’s an attorney’s office, an Islamic center and a cellphone store on Genesee, and a pizzeria and a church on East Ferry Street – just as in other neighborhoods.
But in front of some corner stores, people gather, even on cold nights. Some residents say they are afraid to go outside at night.
This neighborhood is poorer than the rest of Buffalo, overall. Nearly half the population of the census tract – a slightly larger area that includes this nine-block neighborhood – lives with an income below the poverty level. Citywide, a little less than a third of the population had an income below the poverty level, according to 2015 Census estimates.
The median household income for the larger census tract was estimated at $20,957 for 2015. The citywide median income was $31,918.
There is a greater percentage of owner-occupied homes than in the city as a whole, but roughly double the percentage of vacant housing units, according to 2010 census data.
Nearly 9 in 10 residents of this census block identified as African-American in the 2010 census, compared to about 4 in 10 across the entire city.
When the bullets fly, the wounded or killed are usually African-American.
An entire article about how horrible the quality of life in this one tiny section of Buffalo, curiously responsible for a disproportionate percentage of the violent crime in the city, and the journalist has completely buried the lede.

Black people are responsible for making this nine-block area a "war zone."

You could make a facsimile of this article, just replacing the black names and the streets, and this piece could be published in a newspaper in Louisville, Memphis, Montgomery, Dallas, Topeka, Lincoln (Neb.), Oklahoma City, Savannah, Little Rock, Kansas City, Toledo, Greenville, Orlando, Chattanooga, Richmond (VA), Hartford (Connecticut), Boston or Harrisburg.

The regression to the black mean is the rule of life in a community where the black population exceeds 20 percent.

Metaphor for White Dispossession: Perch in 70% Black Baltimore Once Holding Aloft a Monument to Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee Soon to Host Statue of Harriet Tubman

Previously on SBPDL: In 1914, White Children in 90% White Baltimore Collected Pennies to Build Monument Commemorating 100th Anniversary of Star Spangled Banner; In 2018, Monument Defaced in now 70% Black City
Built when Baltimore was overwhelming white, the perch once holding aloft a monument to two of America's great white men will soon have a statue to Harriet Tubman placed upon it... a depressing metaphor for white dispossession if there ever was one.

Baltimore was founded as a white city, built by white people to shelter generations of white Baltimoreans to come. It was abandoned by white people when black crime became a constant threat, and is now a 70 percent black city lorded over by black elected officials utilizing the specter of black crime to keep gentrification at bay.

Our monuments, built to celebrate our history, stand as powerful rebukes to the egalitarianism dominating 21st century American life, which is why they must be defaced, vandalized, demonized, and ultimately destroyed.

In 2017, under the cloak of darkness, the new black mayor of Baltimore removed three Confederate statues.[Baltimore Mayor Had Statues Removed in ‘Best Interest of My City’, New York Times, 8-16-17]

This, of course, is a city seriously contemplating putting a statue up to Divine, the transvestite who literally ate dog crap in Pink Flamingo

Confederate statues are now all gone, but a true hero for our egalitarian, anti-white zeitgeist is prepared to go up where once men honored by a long dead Baltimore stood remembered by a white majority unashamed of their southern (white) ancestry. [Former perch for Confederate monument poised to honor Harriet Tubman, WBALTV, 1-24-18]

Dedicated in 1948, the Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee Monument in Wyman Park Dell was removed in 2017 and will soon be renamed for an "illiterate field hand," a black woman whose exploits are highly dubious in their purported authenticity.

But few official acts of a local, city, state, or the federal government in the United States of America could truly be a greater metaphor of white dispossession than monuments to white men (erected when Baltimore boasted a majority white population unashamed and unapologetic for their white ancestors who built the city) being torn down by the new black-controlled city government of Baltimore, only to be replaced by a black woman whose entire historical resume seems grotesquely embellished.

If she can't replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill, she can take the perch once holding aloft statues to two of America's greatest white men.

A clear, obvious "fu*k you" to white people in not just Baltimore, but all across America.

When will we admit Blackness has a Disabling Effect upon Western Civilization?

PK Note: Back to normal tomorrow.

It's only logical this would be the final solution to inequality, inequities, and implicit bias; where despite state-sanctioned discrimination against white people, the black population would still fail to achieve standards set by whites and, subsequently, blame this ubiquitous problem on their own blackness. [Fordham Law Professor Tells African Americans to Claim Blackness as a ‘Disability’, Breitbart.com, 1-22-18]:

A law professor from Fordham University argues that African Americans should be allowed to present their blackness as a recognized legal disability to better combat inequalities and prejudice.
A reminder: blackness disables western civilization, regressing it to the negro mean
“Blackness in the United States has an independent disabling effect distinct from the effects of socioeconomic status,” Kimani Paul-Emile has written in an upcoming article titled “Blackness as Disability” for the Georgetown Law Journal.
Paul-Emile contends that given the historical ineffectiveness of civil rights law and Supreme Court jurisprudence to root out modern-day racial injustice, African Americans should turn to disability law as a more effective legal avenue to combat the effects of racism.
“Understanding Blackness as disabling,” she contends, “brings to the fore a surprising new approach to addressing discrimination and systemic inequality that has been hiding in plain sight: disability law.”
Whereas race law has been “relatively effective” at countering intentional discrimination, she declares, “it has failed to combat the predominant forms of discrimination that now harm minority populations: unconscious bias, stereotyping, and structural inequality,” which makes disability law a much better option for dealing with such effects.
“Rather than focusing on malicious intent, disability law accepts the impact of even neutral actions, policies, and programs, directly confronting the ways in which social structures, institutions, and norms can ‘substantially limit’ a person’s ability to perform ‘a major life activity,’” the law professor wrote.
Fordham Law News published an excerpt from the forthcoming article, praising Paul-Emile as a “foremost thinker and writer in the areas of law and inequality, race and the law, law and biomedical ethics, and health law,” while declaring she is just the person to furnish “a fresh perspective on racial discrimination.”

Only in a nation where white people have completely ceded all moral authority would Paul-Emile be treated with a modicum of respect.

Western civilization has been crippled, perhaps irreparably, by our insistence to believe lies and implement them as social policy.

At the end of the day, blackness has handicapped western civilization.

A Racial Lesson for Western Civilization: Built in 1905 when Camden was 100% White, the Carnegie Library Lays in Ruins in now 96% Non-White Camden

PK Note: Check out the latest Paul Kersey at VDare --Thing Is, We’re Supposed To BELIEVE This BLACK PANTHER Black Power Fantasy

What becomes of white civilization - western civilization - when white people abandon what their ancestors created?

Camden, New Jersey tells us the tragic lesson, where a tree growing inside a long-abandoned library is symbolic of the desolation of western civilization once non-whites inherit what they had no hand in building.

What they are incapable of maintaining.
The roof is gone on the Carnegie Library in now 96% non-white Camden

In 2018, Camden is nearly 96 percent non-white (49% Hispanic/ 42% black), requiring hundreds of millions of loans, grants, and aid from the taxpayers of New Jersey over the past decades to pay for services, employees, and infrastructure fixes the almost entirely non-white tax-base of the city can't provide.

In 1900, the city was almost 100 percent white, a growing metropolis and a vital contributor to the American economy with an innovative business sector burgeoning. By 1940, Camden was 90 percent white and absolutely thriving.

But as the demographics slowly shifted, and white people abandoned the city, the quality of life regressed to the black (and brown) mean.

What better illustrates the demise of white civilization in Camden then the Camden Free Library Building, built in 1905 when the city was nearly 100 percent white? Andrew Carnegie donated $100,000 for the library, to help provide continued education and a citadel of knowledge to the individual white people who would collectively make Camden on of America's most important industrial cities:
The Library Committee of City Council, on February 24th, adopted a resolution presented by Councilman Charles Ellis, formally accepting Andrew Carnegie’s offer of $100,000 for a public library in Camden. On April 28, 1903 the Free Library Trustees recommended the purchase of the Dialogue property, at Broadway and Line Street, 80 x 1600 feet, for the new Carnegie Library. The sum asked was $15,0900 and on November 4, 1903 the property was obtained for that sum.
A competition for the design of the new library was held, with several local architects, including Arthur Truscott, submitting designs. Coming in first place in this contest was the firm of Hale & Morse. Hale and Morse represented the partnership of architects ordinarily not associated with Philadelphia: Herbert D. Hale and Henry G. Morse, both of whom were better known in Boston and New York. Nonetheless, for a period in the early twentieth century the firm established an office in the Drexel Building in Philadelphia, and their projects, reported by the Philadelphia Real Estate Record and Builders Guide included several residential operations.
Inside the roofless library, trees grow among the ruins...
Camden Free Library Building, built with money donated by Andrew Carnegie, Broadway and Line Street, opened to the public on June 27, 1905. 7,000 books were on the shelves. The cost of the building was about $86,000. Carnegie's donation eventually came to $120,000. It was Carnegie’s belief that universities and libraries were the most worthwhile areas to give donations, and he made major donations to over 2500 libraries across the country. The firm of J.E. and A.L Pennock built the two-storied, neoclassical library. It was finished with a pedimented entrance portico on the west façade. When there were no funds left to purchase furniture for the library, Andrew Carnegie donated a supplementary $20,000. The was housed at its original site for eighty-one years. In 1986, the library was set up in a larger building, leaving the original Camden Free Public Library empty. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in October of 1992, and still stands as a symbol of the City of Camden as well as a symbol of the generosity of Andrew Carnegie.
Sadly in the years between 1986 and 2004 the Carnegie Library stood as a symbol of much that was wrong with Camden- physical decay, political inertia, and an indifference to both the heritage of the past and the need to instill a love of books and learning in Camden's children. A few interested parties attempted to get government help in preserving the building, but met with little success.
When the Camden Free Library Building (also known as the Carnegie Library) was built in 1905, Camden was nearly 100 percent white. Designed to provide a sanctuary for conversing with the great white wordsmiths of the past, who in death still had much to tell the living through their tomes, the Carnegie Library was precious gift for posterity.

For the benefit of not just maintaining, but advancing white civilization.

Today, in less than four percent white Camden, the building is abandoned, though on the ornate facade the names of great white authors (Chaucer, Irving, and Hawthorne) are inscribed, a visible reminder for the city's almost entirely non-white population of just who the Carnegie Library was built for and whom was expected to help grow the community for centuries to come.

But in the span of a century, Camden went from nearly 100 percent white to, in 2018, almost less than four percent white.

Buildings, especially those built long ago, have a way of speaking for the dead.

Built when white people were not just optimistic about their future (and their posterities), but desirous to advance western civilization, the Carnegie Library in 2018 is derelict and in ruin, a visible reminder of the true theme running through H.P.  Lovecraft's horror fiction; the consequences of racial degeneracy, amalgamation, and, worse, the inability of those watching it all unfold to confront the evil.

Reminders of the civilization white people long ago built in Camden are still visible, though the ruin, decay and their degradation is a visible indication of what happens to western civilization in the hands of non-whites.

In now 96 percent non-white Camden, America's future as white people become a racial minority are on full display.

Black St. Louis Public Safety Director Calls Out Black People for Committing All Violent Crime/Homicides in 49% Black/43% White City

Black man notices who commits all the homicides in 49 black/43 percent white St. Louis.

We call this pattern recognition.

This black man, who happens to be the Public Safety Director of St. Louis, called upon black people in this city to tackle the crime problem... since they are basically the only people responsible for violent crime there.

In 2017, all but one of suspects in homicides was black.

All but one...

So yes, saying black people are responsible for all the violent crime in St. Louis is an entirely true statement.
It's all white people's fault black people can't stop killing/shooting each other...

But now this black man is the villain for daring to publicly state what official police statistics clearly demonstrate.[Who is responsible for 'black-on-black' crime in St. Louis? MLK Day remarks prompt sharp response, St. Louis Public Radio, 1-18-18]:

St. Louis Public Safety Director Jimmie Edwards made remarks about crime in St. Louis that prompted a sharp response from civil rights law firm ArchCity Defenders.
Edwards told a crowd at a Martin Luther King Day event that black-on-black crime was a problem African-American residents need to tackle.
The following day, as part of a thread of 11 tweets, ArchCity Defenders posted “newly appointed Public Safety Director Jimmie Edwards chose to publicly demonize black St. Louisans by employing overly-simplistic racial rhetoric that has long been used to preserve the status quo.”
When St. Louis Public Radio asked Edwards about the response, he said he didn’t believe his statement garnered pushback, but rather “was celebrated.” He said his understanding of the issue comes from years of experience.
“For 25 years, I sat as a circuit judge and I’ve tried cases, and my heart has been broken with respect to victims and defendants alike,” he said.
Edwards, who became public safety director in November, said the issue of black-on-black crime concerns him and listed areas that might help improve crime in the city, including better educational systems, housing and employment.
But some saw his statement as an attempt to absolve the wider St. Louis community, which includes people of different races, from also having to solve problems around violent crime.
The latest FBI crime statistics show St. Louis had the most homicides per 100,000 people in 2016 and ranked second for number of violent crimes.
During his address at the Martin Luther King Day event Edwards said all but one of the city’s 205 murder victims in 2017 were black and all the people caught and accused of those crimes were also black.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department statistics for 2017 show:
  • 192 murder victims were black
  • One victim was Hispanic
  • 12 were white
  • All but one of the 138 listed suspects are black
  • 137 suspects are identified as male and three as female — totaling 140.
It is unclear from the report if the race of all the suspects is known. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department closed fewer than half of its open homicide cases last year.
As part of its Twitter response, ArchCity Defenders listed 10 topics "Edwards could have addressed," including homelessness, poverty, incarceration and other socioeconomic issues would have been brought nuance to the issue of crime in the city.
Blake Strode, ArchCity's Executive director, cautioned against statements that make black-on-black crime appear to be a unique phenomenon.
“One of the things we know about crime is it tends to be intraracial,” he said.
“Black people tend to be victimized by black perpetrators. White people tend to be victimized by white perpetrators and so on.”
Strode said he believes every resident should be a part of addressing violent crime in the city. He said a combination of public policy choices and individual choices affect circumstances that give rise to crime.
“It’s misleading to suggest that black people are in some sense are the cause of their own dilemmas,” he said.
"It’s misleading to suggest that black people are in some sense are the cause of their own dilemmas..."

No, it's really not.

Black people are the cause of their own dilemma, and it's this dysfunction largely responsible for making St. Louis one of America's worst shitholes. Strangely, black people are the common denominator behind American cities being shitholes or a city thriving and boasting social capital.

White Republican - City Councilman, Reserve Deputy with Sheriff's Office - Resigns over Sharing "Sh-thole" Countries Meme on Facebook

A reminder: we still live in a conquered nation, until white people learn they must simply get off their knees and stop living as slaves to people who despise them.

All you have to do is stand and never, ever back down. [Franklin city councilman resigns after sharing ‘s***hole countries’ meme on Facebook, Fox59.com, 1-18-18]:

FRANKLIN, Ind. – A Franklin city councilman resigned Thursday, just days after posting a controversial meme on Facebook.
The evidence is quite clear... Haiti is a literal "sh-thole"
Republican Joseph R. Ault announced his resignation in a letter to Johnson County Central Committee Chairman Beth Boyce. In the letter, Ault said he doesn’t want to put the city through any more bad publicity and he apologizes for his lack of good judgment.
In light of what has transpired over the past few days I have changed my mind and will be resigning my seat on the Franklin City Council of this date. After a few days to think about this I can see no reason to put the City or the Council through anymore bad publicity. I know the city is in very capable hands with the current leadership in place. Once again I want to apologize to the citizens of Franklin and to the Council for my lack of good judgment in this matter.
The meme in question was in reference to a vulgar comment that President Donald Trump reportedly made during a meeting last week discussing immigration reform.
He later denied using the vulgarity, adding that he is “not a racist.”
According to the Indy Star, the meme shared by Ault read: “We bring people from s***hole countries because s***hole Democrats need s***hole votes so they can turn America into a s***hole. Do you agree?”
Ault has also worked as a reserve deputy for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office for over two decades, Sheriff Doug Cox told the Indy Star. Cox went on to say his office is in the process of conducting an internal investigation and Ault is not authorized to work for the department during that time.
So a white man resigned his seat on the city council and is under investigation by the sheriff's office - where he served as a reserve deputy - for his sharing of a "shithole" meme?

Never apologize, never resign and never grovel for forgiveness. If you do any of these acts, you surrender all moral authority to the anti-white left.

Living the Dream! At Martin Luther King Day Parade in Las Vegas, 29 Black People Arrested for Fighting

All you get today is a shot.

No chaser to water the harsh, 85% proof shot of pure, unadulterated hilarity. [Fight breaks out in downtown Las Vegas after MLK parade, Las Vegas Review Journal, 1-15-18]:
More than two dozen people were arrested after multiple fights broke out in downtown Las Vegas after the city’s 36th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, police said.
Police arrested 23 minors and six adults in the fights, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Grant Rogers said.
Just after 4 p.m., about 100 people were involved in one fight at the intersection of Casino Center Boulevard and Ogden Avenue, Rogers said. No one was seriously injured in the fights, he said.

We dismantled our civilization, surrendering it to Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream. At the 36th annual MLK Parade in Las Vegas, the reality of nation where black people are virtually held unaccountable for their dysfunction was on absolute display.

"Sh-thole" Countries Exist, but so do "Sh-thole" American Cities: What's the Common Denominator?

Previously on SBPDL: President Trump Exposes Republican and Democrat Elite are United in the Belief All Haitians Have a Right to Immigrate to America

Ranking the worst "shitholes" in America:
1. Detroit
"Shithole countries" opened more eyes to racial truths/realites
than any website, video, or book could ever
hope to accomplish
2. Camden 3. Newark 4. Baltimore 5. Birmingham 6. Memphis 7. New Orleans 8. St. Louis 9. Philadelphia 10. Jackson (MS)

Dishonorable mention: Milwaukee, Houston, Dallas, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, Oakland, Kansas City, Hartford.

What's the common denominator? It's not Democrats...

Inadvertently, the Mad Man-in-Chief is doing it... Making America Great Again (MAGA) required, before everything else, white guilt ending for good.

It's happening.
