Career Builder's Zombie Apocalypse Index Excludes Most Important Metric: Percentage of Blacks in a City

Well, they thought they'd have some fun over at Career Builder (CareerBuilder.com) in creating an article with the potential to go viral. But they failed to include the most pertinent metric in understanding if your city could survive a zombie apocalypse: demographics. [Could your city survive a zombie apocalypse?, CareerBuilder.com, 10-29-15]:
With more and more movies and TV shows debuting every year about reanimated corpses rising from the grave to attack the living, zombies are a horror staple that – pardon the pun – just won't stay dead.
In light of that, and in the spirit of Halloween, CareerBuilder and EMSI decided to take a look at which major U.S. cities have the best odds of surviving the zombie apocalypse. By weighing the pros and cons of each city's economic make up, the Zombie Apocalypse Index offers a glimpse at which cities have the best chances to save the human race, and which ones would be conquered by the undead.

The brains behind the index
Each metro's survival score is reached by weighing 8 factors in 4 different categories – Defense, Containment, Cure and Food. An overall score of 100 represents the highest possible likelihood of riding out the hordes of walking dead, while lower scores indicate greater chances of becoming zombie fodder.

MOST LIKELY TO SURVIVE
Representing America's best hope for finding a zombie cure, and boasting considerable scores in both Defense and Containment, Boston tops the list of the cities most likely to survive the zombie apocalypse, with a total score of 43.99 out of 100 possible points.
  1. Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH (43.99 points)
  2. Salt Lake City, UT (39.49 points)
  3. Columbus, OH (39.31 points)
  4. Baltimore-Columbia-Towson, MD (39.29 points)
  5. Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport New, VA-NC (38.55 points)
  6. Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA (37.49 points)
  7. San Diego-Carlsbad, CA (36.96 points)
  8. Kansas City, MO-KS (35.03 points)
  9. Denver-Aurora-Lakewood, CO (34.66 points)
  10. Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson, IN (33.91 points)
LEAST LIKELY TO SURVIVE
While New York has survived any number of horror, sci-fi and natural disasters in movies and TV shows, it's actually not the best place to be during a zombie apocalypse. New York's high population density and limited food supply contribute to its place as the least likely of all major U.S. metros to survive an invasion of reanimated, brain-hungry corpses.
  1. New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA (5.64 points)
  2. Tampa-St. Petersberg-Clearwater, FL (11.03 points)
  3. Los Angeles-LongBeach-Anaheim, CA (12.98 points)
  4. Riverside-San Bernadino-Ontario, CA (13.34 points)
  5. Chicago-Naperville-Elgin, IL-IN-WI (16.38 points)
  6. Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, FL (16.78 points)
  7. Jacksonville, FL (17.21 points)
  8. Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, WI (18.31 points)
  9. Providence-Warwick, RI-MA (19.24 points)
  10. Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, NV (19.41 points)
Considering how many American cities haven't survived the loss of its founding, white population (replaced with a black or non-white majority), zombies seem hardly to be a problem worth worrying about.

The great indicator for if your city will be able to survive its demographic situation is measured in this breakdown of American cities/counties usage of EBT/SNAP (food stamp) by race, detailing in horrific splendor the reality of the Free Shit Army (FSA) prepared to level civilization if their EBT Card ever stopped working.

It's a plague far, far worse than zombies, because you pay for this army to proliferate and survive.

And, courtesy of Wikipedia, these are the cities you would be best to avoid if the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse or, the more likely scenarios, the coming of the FSA unleashed by the EBT Card no longer working:

The United States of America Jumps the Shark

If only Darren Wilson had challenged Michael Brown to a dance-off on Canfield Drive, Ferguson would never have burned...[D.C. Cop Breaks Up Fight, Then Diffuses Situation With Dance-Off, CBS Baltimore, 10-29-15]:

It’s the viral video even President Obama is talking about, and some say it’s a good step in restoring trust between police and the public. A D.C. cop is caught on cell phone dancing with a student.
We are no longer a serious country, with law enforcement regressing to the black mean
Amy Yensi spoke to the teenager in the dance-off.
Video of a D.C. officer doing the Nae Nae dance goes viral, even reaching the White House. President Obama tweeted: “Who knew community policing could involve the Nae Nae?
Great example of police having fun while keeping us safe.”
The cell phone video of a Metropolitan police officer dancing with a teenage girl is a far cry from the more common videos of confrontations between police and the community–from chaos at a pool party in Texas to a Baltimore officer beating a man at a bus stop and another allegedly spitting on a suspect.
“The more that you can humanize the men and women in blue, trust goes up, crime goes down,” said police expert Rob Weinhold.
“I started doing the Nae Nae just to tease her or something,” said Aaliyah Taylor.
Taylor, seen dancing with the D.C. cop in the video, says the officer arrived on K Street Monday afternoon to keep a group of girls from fighting.
“She said, ‘I can do better than that.’ And I was like, ‘Really?’
She was like, ‘Yeah, I can show you.’ And I was like, ‘Alright.’
And she was like, ‘Come on, let’s dance,'” said Taylor.
The dance battle has left the community in good spirits.
“They should have more people like that come on out here to dance with them,” said one resident.
Though the officer wants to stay anonymous, her dedication is changing how one girl sees police.
“I was just like, there’s some good cops out here. We need more cops like that. If we had more cops like that, it would be a peaceful environment,” said Taylor.
As for who won the dance-off–it depends. Most people say any time the police and community get along, everyone wins.Taylor says she wants a rematch with the officer so they can make another video together.
So two groups of black girls were prepared to throw down, and then a white cop decides to do her best West Side Story impression?

The United States of America is truly irredeemable, when this incident is saluted by the President as a powerful example of "community policing."

A Vigil in 65 percent Black Baltimore for a Murdered Black Male is the Scene of Further Violence... Courtesy of Black People

With all due respect to Councilman Brandon M. Scott, what 'fabric of the community' is left in 65 percent black Baltimore, save the decaying ruins of the civilization white people long ago built there, but ultimately abandoned because of the high levels of black criminality? [Man shot after candlelight vigil for homicide victim, Baltimore Sun, 10-29-15]:
A 26-year-old man was shot Thursday night in northeast Baltimore after a candlelight vigil for a homicide victim, police said.
Police responded at 8 p.m. to the 5400 block of Moores Run Drive, Cedonia, and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The vigil was for 21-year-old Damien Best who was gunned down Monday outside his home on the city's northeast side. Best was a graduate of Reginald F. Lewis High School and worked as a bank teller.
City Councilman Brandon M. Scott said a shooting at a candlelight vigil "speaks to a lack of humility and humanity. It shakes the fabric of the community."
Denise Best, aunt of Damien Best, said children were attending the vigil. She said she didn't know the man who got hurt.
The shells of civilization can still be found in present-day Baltimore, a 65 percent black dystopia where vigils for murdered blacks are venues of further death and violence. Just as one can hear the roar of the ocean if they pick up a sea-shell on the shore, one can still sense a vitality possible in 2015 Baltimore when viewing the buildings and infrastructure white people long ago built and blacks inherited (courtesy of their criminality and violence, driving the former, founding population away).

But that vitality is possible only if the current majority population was replaced with the one responsible with the building of Baltimore...

The Ghost of Heinlein Laughs: White Police Officer Fired for Daring to Believe a Black South Carolina Student has a Responsibility to Behave

Paul Verhoeven gave an incredible interview to Paul M. Simon for The Making of Starship Troopers. On p. 138, Verhoeven let slip this truth, which is incredibly revealing for what this classic movie actually represents:
"So I think the essence of my interest in this so-called fascism of Heinlein's, or pseudo-fascism, the real reason I wanted to transfer that to film was that at this moment there are voices in the United States that would actually embrace this form of policy. Which is another reason I wanted to do this film. To carry over the fascist framework from the book to the movie. It's a metaphor, you see - for that part of the American society which would like to have something like the government portrayed in Starship Troopers in power in the United States today.
It would also be interesting. I felt, to have the film of Starship Troopers make this statement: "This quasi-fascist society we're showing you works. On a certain level, anyway." (p. 138)
I can still remember when I convinced a friend to see Starship Troopers with me in November 1997. We left football practice and went to see the movie at a theater long since torn down.
Black dysfunction (and black people disrupting a peaceful setting) is now protected in America

For reasons I couldn't quite explain, the movie spoke to me as few had before, and even fewer since.

It would be nearly 16 year later that I'd read Robert Heinlein's book to fully understand the full impact of not just the movie, but the vision for the world he'd articulated.

Heinlein's lesson of History and Moral Philosophy from the book is one of the most profound and insightful visions for a sane, rational, and just society you'll ever encounter, and the sad fact is Verhoeven failed to convey the importance and significance of this particular lesson in his film.

No bother. Here's one of the more important lessons:
"Corporal punishment in schools was forbidden by law," he had gone on.
"Flogging was lawful as sentence of court only in one small province, Delaware, and there only for a few crimes and was rarely invoked; it was regarded as 'cruel and unusual punishment.'" Dubois had mused aloud, "I do not understand objections to 'cruel and unusual' punishment. While a judge should be benevolent in purpose, his awards should cause the criminal to suffer, else there is no punishment -- and pain is the basic mechanism built into us by millions of years of evolution which safeguards us by warning when something threatens our survival. Why should society refuse to use such a highly perfected survival mechanism? However, that period was loaded with pre-scientific pseudo-psychological nonsense.
"As for 'unusual,' punishment must be unusual or it serves no purpose."
We live in a world where punishment is doled out to those who dare believe law, discipline, and order should be upheld or preserved.

Those who break the law, flout those who would discipline, and sow the seeds of disorder are rewarded and championed as virtuous.

But, unlike in 1997 Starship Troopers (which Verhoeven lauded as "working) , our society is collapsing.

Courtesy of crippling black dysfunction and a debilitating state of white guilt directly leading to a paralysis of true progress and the onset of societal devolution. [Attorney defends actions of fired school officer as 'justified and lawful', CNN.com, Oct. 28, 2015]:

An attorney for the South Carolina officer fired for slamming a student to the ground and tossing her several feet says his client's actions were "justified and lawful."
Video of the arrest sparked widespread outrage and questions about what role police should play in schools.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott suspended Deputy Ben Fields after the incident, and fired him Wednesday.
"We believe that Mr. Fields' actions were justified and lawful throughout the circumstances of which he was confronted during this incident. To that extent we believe that Mr. Fields' actions were carried out professionally and that he was performing his job duties within the legal threshold," Fields' attorney, Scott Hayes, said in a statement.
Among the criticisms of Fields: his admitted use of "muscling techniques" to get the student out of her chair. But that's only one part of the story.
Federal investigators have gotten involved. Another student arrested from the same Spring Valley High School classroom has spoken out. And the sheriff is criticizing a South Carolina law that he says muddles the role of school resource officers.
Sheriff says student deserves part of blame
Richland County has 87 school resource officers, Lott said, and the "actions by Deputy Fields was not typical of the job I expect them to do."
Fields did wrong and was fired for his actions, Lott said.
But the student must shoulder responsibility for the disruptive behavior that escalated to the officer being called in, the sheriff said.
"When a classroom is disrupted by a student, that disrupts the education process and the students can't learn and the teachers can't teach," Lott said. "We have to have discipline in our schools."
What the student did does not justify the officer's actions, the sheriff said, but she must take responsibility for her role.
"We must not lose sight that this whole incident started by this student," he said. "She is responsible for initiating this action. Some responsibility falls on her."
     Our society doesn't work.

    It doesn't.

All that our ancestors built now crumbles before us, because we lack the will to confront black degeneracy and those white people who cover for the genetic limitations of blacks in a society they lack the intelligence to not only participate in, but maintain when left to their own collective devices.

Deputy Ben Fields should never have been fired.

But this white police officer is yet another sacrifice to a failed state, which continues to limp along and drag us all to the black mean.

Our society no longer works. Such is the state of a failed democracy.

Wife of White Man Brutally Murdered by Former Black Texas A&M Athlete Commits Suicide

Stories of a loyal dog sitting by the grave of their former master have always struck me as the noblest reminder of the importance of friendship and how it can transcend even death.

The grief of losing a loved one, yet finding some comfort in sitting by their final resting place is a powerful reminder of the permanent impression we can leave upon a person, even if the "person" in this equation is a canine
Dave and Patti Stevens, married for 25 years, are both now dead. Dave, murdered by a former Texas A&M football player in a "random" slaying, and Patti now dead by apparent suicide

Conversely, the story of Patti Stevens final days on earth are a reminder of what happens when a population far removed from "Man's Best Friend" is allowed to commit "random... totally random" murder (Dave, her husband of 25 years, was found laying down with a sword in his head and not moving.”).

[Patti Stevens, widow of slain White Rock runner, killed self, authorities say, Dallas Morning Star, October 26, 2015]:

The wife of a man who was killed at random while running near White Rock Lake two weeks ago took her own life Sunday, authorities said.
Patti Stevens, 54, a physical therapist, was found dead of suspected suicide at her home in the 200 block of Brazos Lane in Sunnyvale, said Raul Reyna, a spokesman for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. She had shared the home with her husband, Dave, since 2009.
The couple did not have children.
Two of Dave’s coworkers called police for a welfare check on Patti after she didn’t answer her phone on Saturday night or Sunday morning, said neighbor Michael Knight, who spoke to the friends.
The call came in around 2:18 p.m., and sheriff’s deputies arrived six minutes later to find Patti’s body, Reyna said.
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating and the Dallas County medical examiner’s office said an official cause of death was not available Monday morning. But Knight, the neighbor, said police found her body in the garage and they believed she died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Her death came a week after she told The Dallas Morning News about her love for her husband of 25 years, and her overwhelming grief.
“Dave was the love of my life and I’m lost without him,” she said through tears Oct. 19. “People need to know that this was a wonderful person going out and doing what he loved to do.”
Patti Stevens said then that she had trouble with sleeping, eating and even thinking clearly after her husband’s death.
Stevens, 53, ran 10 miles around White Rock Lake every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning before heading to his electrical engineering job at GE in Plano.
Police said Thomas Linze Johnson, 21, a mentally ill former Texas A&M football player, randomly picked out Stevens and hacked him to death with a machete around 8 a.m. Oct. 12 on the White Rock Creek Trail.
Johnson, a high school football star at Skyline High School, is currently in the Dallas County jail in lieu of $500,000 bail. Police said Johnson admitted killing Stevens, who he did not know, and placed a 911 call on a passerby’s cellphone after doing so.
Police initially had difficulty identifying the slain man and Patti Stevens later said she spent more than a day trying to figure out what happened to her husband.
She said he came home at the same time every day and when he didn’t arrive that evening or answer phone calls, she went looking for him. She called police after she found his car parked in a parking lot late the night he was killed.
Patti said during her interview with The News last week that she hadn’t read news accounts of her husband’s slaying and didn’t know the details of his death. She said she was just trying to figure out how to move on without him.
Dave Stevens body was hacked to death, virtually unrecognizable even to his wife. A sword was left in his head, after a former (beloved by tens of thousands of white Texas A&M alumni, who would do everything to avoid him six days out of week, but everything possible to watch him play on fall Saturday's) college football player selected him at "random... totally random."
On fall Saturday's, white people who implicitly avoid black people for six days of the week, explicitly worship black athletes like Thomas Johnson

Dave and Patti Stevens were both white people, who created a life together. After Dave was savagely, brutally murdered by a former black Texas A&M football player, Patti would persist for less than a fortnight.

In the end, Thomas Linze Johnson has murdered not one, but two people.

It's my great hope that one day we understand the loyalty showed by dogs to their deceased owners is the exact type of grieving we should have for those white people murdered by a race of people seemingly immune from criticism or judgment in America.

Dave and Patti Stevens are both dead, and it should be painfully obvious neither death was "random... totally random," as police stated in Dallas.

Black Memphis "Prays" to End Violence, while first White Mayor elected in nearly 25 years on Law and Order Platform

Memphis, for the first time since the early 1990s, has a white mayor.

    Jim Strickland.

Before the election of Willie Herenton in 1991, Memphis had only white mayors

Jim Strickland is now the white mayor of 65 percent black Memphis, a once-thriving-now-dying city.

And though the media and seemingly both political parties in Washington D.C. are committed to criminal justice reform, Strickland is now mayor of Memphis because he made fighting crime his "number one priority" during the election.

Remember, Memphis is a city that barred A&E from shooting The First 48 because it painted too nasty a picture of the type of community individual blacks collectively created

Jim Strickland is mayor of Memphis all because he ran on a law and order platform (he wants a "zero tolerance" policy on violent crime).

Though it might seem as if the political winds blow against the idea of law and order, the reality is almost entirely in the opposite direction: the chaos of modernity will breed a force few people are even willing to understand today.

It's my belief we will soon approach a day when the community breeding criminality in America - and especially in Memphis - lose their defenders, enablers, and must inevitable account for the content of their character. For, contrary to the belief of a police colonel in Memphis, the answers to why violence is found in Elvis Presley's hometown are quite simple. [Whitehaven community and Memphis police pray to end violence, WREG.com, 10-23-15]:
A group of church members in Whitehaven marched for change on Friday night."We're out here for peace. We want peace in our community, peace in the surrounding areas. We want to pray to stop the violence," Rechell Leflore said.
Members from several churches walked down Elvis Presley and East Shelby Drive to Southland Mall.
Citizens held hands with police to pray for those killed in the Bluff City.
"The crime rates appear to be very high, and it seems like there's a lot of continuous crimes," Leflore said.
"We have been plagued with crime, and we want to do something about it," Pastor Russell Belisle said.
Pastors said the first step was being seen by the community holding on to their faith and onto signs letting everyone know their lives mattered.
Our grandchildren will be shocked to learn our major cities were once plagued with such shocking amounts of violence that community marches were held to try and ward off said evils... that children were once fearful of playing outdoors because they could be hit by errant bullets fired wantonly from guns wielded by black males.

They'll never know how long we tolerated these conditions to endure, with such large portions of the United States of America uninhabitable because a population was deemed beyond criticism.

    Law and order.

For society to flourish, order must be stringently enforced so the law can protect individual humans to collectively live in a state of peace.

In Black-Run America (BRA), individual black people are collectively protected by our inability to correctly note their incompatibility with western civilization, ensuring we all live in a state of perpetual disorder.

Though few on the national scene have noted the significance of Strickland's victory in heavily black Memphis, the march to the restoration of harmony is unstoppable.

Future generations will never comprehend how we allowed civilization to deteriorate to the point where law enforcement unions put up billboards warning citizens to enter a city at "their own risk," because they'll inherit a world where such horrors are but the memory of a distant past.

And such a future is birthed by those today understanding law and order are the three most powerful words when confronting the world of now.

The Irony is Lost on Most: Another Walk for Peace, with neighborhood meeting in MLK Center to discuss "Safety"

Wikipedia tells us the Butler-Tarkington community in Indianapolis was exclusively white until the mid-1950's when black people began to integrate the neighborhood. Today, the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis noted the exclusively black violence in Butler-Tarkington community in Indianapolis has one black resident feeling like he is living in "one of those countries with ISIS in it."

Before state intervention overturning the right for people to have freedom of association, Butler-Tarkington was a community with high social capital. [Butler Tarkington: A diverse, divide, IndianapolisNewsBeat.com, May 27, 2014]:
Considering its history, Butler Tarkington has grown to be racially diverse.
The neighborhood used to house mostly white, middle-class residents in the early to mid-1900s, according to The Polis Center’s website.
But after various civil rights movements, the African-American population increased tenfold. This change was due to the opening of neighborhoods to different races.
Now... the consequences of the civil rights movement have come home to Butler-Tarkington to roost. [Neighbors hold safety walk through streets of Butler-Tarkington community, Fox59.com, 10-21-15]:
Neighbors, police officers and community leaders hit the streets in the Butler-Tarkington area for a safety walk.
“We are walking the neighborhood. We care about our neighborhood and peace in our neighborhood,” said Gregory Wilson, who lives in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.
Since late August, four people have been gunned down in the area. The latest murder was last week. A 19-year-old was killed in an alley, an area where the group on the safety walk felt like there should be street lights installed.
“This is part of the problem: you can tell there isn’t much lighting in this alley so people can be in the dark and selling drugs. The problem is someone could be waiting for you too, so that’s the danger of it too,” said Rev. Charles Harrison with Ten Point Coalition.
The group covered 16 blocks in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood. They found at least 14 street lights not working and 22 abandoned homes that needed attention.
“This is something we need to do and keep the momentum going,” said Ted Feeney, president of the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association.
Since the spike in crime, IMPD officers have spent nearly 650 hours of overtime patrolling the area.
“Somebody’s got to do something. You cannot sit in the back and peep out the window and think well they’ll do it. No, we need more than that,” said Marva  Buckner, who lives in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.
Next Monday, there will be another neighborhood meeting at the MLK Center at 6:30 p.m. This will be the third week in a row there has been a neighborhood meeting focused on safety.
Somebody long ago did something: and what they did became a legal concept known as restrictive covenants.

Somebody long ago did something: individual white people collectively realized they had interests worth protecting and participating in residential segregation.

It was called freedom of association.

Long ago, people wanted peace in their neighborhoods, so they constructed legal mechanisms to offer protection from the very elements sowing the seeds for disharmony.

Butler-Tarkington in 2015 is living proof of the wisdom of our elders.

Even in Overwhelmingly White Pittsburgh, Individual Black People Collectively Keep Homicide Rate Alive

PK Note: Thanks for all the support. SBPDL still needs your help. You can make a donation in the right-hand corner via PayPal or a tax-deductible donation to the PK Fund at Vdare.com (click on the "contribution to an author" option and then click "Paul Kersey). In the meantime, head over to VDare.com to see the latest PK: October 21, 2015 Is Back to the Future Day! And, Thanks To Immigration, It’s Not What America Expected. Or Deserved.

Remember: Pittsburgh is one of America's largest cities with a white majority. And it's thriving.

It's black population stands at 26 percent, which is responsible for keeping alive all of those metrics combining to create a misery index (high unemployment, high school dropout, STD/AIDS, crime, and fatal/nonfatal shootings).
An anti-violence in overwhelmingly white Pittsburgh. It's not white people making the Steel City violent, but the black minority needing to march with open caskets through the city streets...

Back in 2011, the police chief of Pittsburgh literally admitted it was black-on-black crime - in this overwhelmingly white city - keeping the city's homicide rate high. [City police chief focuses on black-on-black crime, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, June 3, 2011]

In late 2014, the black newspaper in Pittsburgh, the New Pittsburgh Courier (in response to black-on-black violence), started a series called "Under Attack By Us!" Not even Mars Attacks! has the kind of over-the-top violence and mayhem the black population of Pittsburgh serves up on a daily basis.

And, because of the morbid reality of black dysfunction in a white society requires an increasing amount of money to try and stop - the Pittsburgh’s Coalition Against Violence (blaming the "no snitch" mentality) - we get yet another march against violence complete with a casket... [Downtown Pittsburgh rally calls attention to violent deaths of blacks, TribLive.com, Oct. 17, 2015]:

Breonna Thorne had no qualms Saturday about hopping into a coffin to protest gun violence that's killed hundreds of black Pittsburghers over the years.Thorne, 19, said plenty of former classmates at the North Side's Perry High School never made age 20.
“I know at least six,” said Thorne of Spring Hill.
About 60 people joined Thorne and Lee Trent, 27, of South Park, who occupied a second coffin, in a march from the City-County Building, Downtown, to Point State Park.
The Rev. Maurice Trent, Lee's father and pastor at Lighthouse Cathedral Church in St. Clair, said he organized the march along with Pittsburgh's Coalition Against Violence to send a message that murder is not acceptable.
“Whenever there's violence, we have to raise our voices,” he said. “We are here to say this is not normal.”
Seventy-one people were killed in Pittsburgh last year — a 54 percent increase over 2013 — and 79 percent of the victims were black, according to Pittsburgh police statistics.
Maurice Trent said his first funeral was for a 14-year-old boy who was fatally shot in 2000.“I'll never forget it,” he said. “That's when I knew what our calling was.”
Protesters marched with a police escort down Grant Street to Sixth Street and Liberty Avenue to the park, pushing the coffins and carrying signs while loudly denouncing gun violence.
“We've lost too many good people in this city, and it's time to stop this,” said Jarrod Chark, 35, of Beechview.
Passersby waved to marchers and stopped to photograph and record the procession with cellphones.
At the park, leaders urged the crowd to call police if they witness crime. Nearly all the participants raised their hands when asked if they knew someone who was murdered or harmed by gun violence.
Tim Stevens, 70, a longtime civil rights activist and chairman of the Black Political Empowerment Project, said murder of teenagers, while common now, was unheard of during his childhood.
“Unfortunately, we are now within three degrees of death in the urban setting,” Stevens said. “Either we have lost someone to violence personally, or we know someone who lost someone to violence, or we know someone who knows someone who lost someone to violence.
“This will not stop until we stop it.”

A mobile phone, a razor, and flashlight.

A wallet with $3 dollars in it.
These items are what three black "teens" procured from Larry Eugene Brown when they assaulted him on July 29 in Greensboro, North Carolina, killing him when they struck the grandfather with a fire extinguisher

Have you heard of this horrific story?
Larry Eugene Brown was 74-years-old on July 29, 2015, when three blacks murdered him for the $3 he was carrying

    No?

    Wonder why?

Well, Larry Eugene Brown was a white man. [3 Greensboro teens indicted in July beating death, robbery of man, Greensboro.com, 10-17-15]:

Three Greensboro teens accused of killing a man with a fire extinguisher over the meager contents in his pockets were indicted by a Guilford County grand jury this week.
Larry Eugene Brown, 74, of 133 Greenbriar Road Apt. A was killed July 29 while walking to the bus. He died of massive blunt force trauma to the head, according to police. An arrest warrant states Brown was struck with a fire extinguisher. He was robbed of his wallet, a flashlight, a cell phone and $3.
D’Angelo Nathaniel Matthews, 17, of 3503 Sherbourne Lane, is indicted on charges of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was previously only charged with the first two counts.
“There was evidence to support the (additional) charge,” said Howard Neumann, Guilford County chief assistant district attorney who will try the case.

In addition to Matthews, Christopher Shakel Williams, 16, of 3616 Martin Ave., and Ketrellia Monaja Harris, 15, of 1326 Ogden St., are indicted on the same charges as Matthews. The trio is accused of conspiring to rob Brown that morning, then hitting and killing him with a fire extinguisher.
Williams was 15 at the time of the crime and Harris was 14, according to police. Both were initially charged in juvenile court and had court hearings on Sept. 3 to transfer their cases to Guilford County Superior Court, according to court documents. The cases were transferred based on the seriousness of charges. Both suspects had family attend the hearings, court documents state.
Brown usually walked to the bus each morning about 5 a.m. Police received two calls about a man down in the area on July 29 — one at 5:30 a.m., and another about 6:10 a.m. Brown was found off the side of the road near Church Street and Greenbriar Road, with a powder that appeared to be from a fire extinguisher on and around him, court documents state. A zip tab similar to what’s used to secure a fire extinguisher was found in the road.
    Three dollars...

At the rate America is headed, it won't be long until D’Angelo Nathaniel Matthews, Christopher Shakel, and Ketrellia Monaja Harris are released from prison, for they committed no crime in ending Brown's white privilege.

    Right?
