365 Black at McDonald's Continues!

McDonald’s is the unofficial fast food restaurant of SBPDL. Nothing beats a Big Mac, fries and a coke at the eating establishment that dubs itself 365 Black! Nothing… except maybe Popeye’s Chicken, but that’s a story for another day.

McDonald’s has capitalized off the magnetic pull it exerts toward Black people, who find the Golden Arches so appealing that they will stop at nothing to garner McNugget’s .

Wait, what exactly is 365 Black at McDonald’s again?:

“At McDonald's®, we believe that African-American culture and achievement should be celebrated 365 days a year — not just during Black History Month. That's the idea behind 365Black.com. It's a place where you can learn more about education, employment, career advancement and entrepreneurship opportunities, and meet real people whose lives have been touched by McDonald's.”

We at SBPDL agree completely and believe that the plan to go 365 Black at McDonald’s is being warmly embraced by the white community as well. Consider the actions of Melodi Dushane, a white woman in Toledo who found the lack of McNugget’s so horrifying she lashed out at the drive-through window with the ferocity of Bill Goldberg.

Ms. Dushane acted in a manner that many would classify as 365 Black:

A Toledo woman, who allegedly put her fist through a McDonald's drive-thru window after being told her order couldn't be filled, appeared in court Saturday on a felony vandalism charge. Melodi Dushane, 24, of 1332 Felt St., became “upset that chicken nuggets weren't available” Friday and “punched out the drive-thru window” at the restaurant on Front Street at Main Street, according to Toledo police.”

This incident reminds us of two other moments we have discussed, once, when a Black woman dialed 911 over the inability for the McDonald’s staff to bestow her McNugget’s and the infamous story out of Memphis where Black men – who happened to be dressed in drag – descended upon the McDonald’s employees like a pack of Harpies after they were denied food at the drive-through window.

Worse, but a few days after Ms. Dushane’s attempt to go 365 Black at McDonald’s, yet another Black woman struck with a vengeance at the unofficial fast food restaurant of Black people. A Kansas City McDonald’s was the venue for this 365 Black moment:

A McDONALD'S customer unhappy with her hamburger has taken out her rage on staff - and it has all been captured on video.

Surveillance video from a Kansas City McDonald's restaurant clearly shows a woman demanding a refund for what she claimed was an inferior hamburger.

After being denied the refund, she throws a bucket of water over the counter along with other items, including a basket of straws, cookies, a sign and even three of the cash registers.

The incident played out in front of several unsuspecting customers, including children.

The woman was gone before police arrived and has not been identified.”

Some people have dared to call the 365 Black initiative at McDonald’s racist, arguing if McDonald’s went 365 white that the effort would be universally denounced as a form of reverse-discrimination:

I’m not a racist, but due to the fact that race is such an issue right now and they are trying to capitalize on it, I have decided to call for a boycott on them.

There is nothing more racist that this website.

To decide if something truly is racist, you only have to ask one simple question. If there was a 365white.com website for only whites, would others call IT racist?

The answer is, YES, They would, so therefore 365black.com is racist. Plain and simple."

Black people find this argument absurd and calls of double standards in the way the various races are treated in America is but a red herring utilized by white people.

365 Black – one of McDonald’s greatest ventures ever – is an authentic attempt at bridging the racial bridge once and for all, to bring about full equality through the transformation of plain white people into the world that Black people inhabit every day:

“Los Angeles police are looking for a man who beat up a 16-year-old girl at a McDonald's counter after she complained about him cutting in line.

Police announced their investigation Tuesday night and posted surveillance video online.

Police say the girl, her 5-year-old niece and a friend were standing in line on Sept. 14 at the McDonald's in South Los Angeles. The suspect and two young boys then approached the counter when the 16-year-old started arguing with the man over who was first in line.”

365 Black is a genuine attempt at creating Martin Luther King’s color blind society and McDonald’s should congratulate itself on a marketing plan that would make David Ogilvy proud. Stuff Black People Don’t Like doesn’t include the 365 Black idea at McDonald’s, because this program delivers plenty of medicine to help heal the nations deep racial wounds.

365Black at SBPDL!

Stuff Black People Don't Like prides itself on answering McDonald's call to be 365Black.We will bring you the goods on Stuff Black People Don't Like all day and everyday.

Nothing else will be discussed at www.SBPDL.com, because we feel it paramount to educate the world - not just America - on things that drive Black people crazy.

What is 365Black, you might ask? According to McDonald's new promotion:
"At McDonald's®, we believe that African-American culture and achievement should be celebrated 365 days a year — not just during Black History Month. That's the idea behind 365Black.com. It's a place where you can learn more about education, employment, career advancement and entrepreneurship opportunities, and meet real people whose lives have been touched by McDonald's."
We here at SBPDL have been trying to tell you that "you live in a Black world now" and this new promotion from McDonald's couldn't be any more clear in who they hope to elevate: Black people.

Of course, Black people and McDonald's have been featured twice thus far at SBPDL and we will once again do our 365Black duty in ensuring that you know about them: Memphis and McDonald's and 911 and McDonald's.

#356. Memphis Transvestites

Black people love McDonald's. We have already discussed Black people's disdain for running of Chicken McNuggets, a faux pas worthy of calling 911 over.

McDonald's and Black people have a special connection that few can deny. First, they serve Coke products at McDonald's, which naturally means they serve Sprite - the official drink of Black people - and the commercials for the fast-food giant also are heavily slanted to Black people's enjoyment.

McDonald's has long gone after the market share of 13 percent of the United States population by targeting only Black people to frequent its Golden Arch's and enjoy tasty hamburgers, McNuggets and wash it down with plenty of Sprite ( remember that what you see on TV in regards to athletics does not correlate to the actual US population, which is only 13 percent Black).

No, there exist few places on earth as beloved by Black people as McDonald's and because of this we get yet another glimpse into the macabre world of Stuff Black People Don't Like.

Sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction, but with Black people nothing is stranger than combining your wildest fantasy with a heaping dose of truth to come up with the startling reality of life in 21st century Post-Obama America.

At a Memphis-area McDonald's, three local patrons were starving for a heaping portion of McNuggets and Sprite and found their patronage dismissed by the Black people working inside.

The three patrons (all Black people) happened to be dressed as women, as they were Memphis Transvestites in dire need of McDonald's. What follows is the story from the Memphis Flyer:

"Things got a little out of order after three hungry transvestites found their service at a Memphis McDonald's drive-thru unsatisfactory. The three, er, men, tried to get the manager's attention by tapping on the drive-thru window, and when they were ignored, decided to grab a tire iron and go inside and throw a supersize tantrum."

"As any good cross-dressers would, the three began to kick off stiletto boots (to better keep their balance while swinging), remove hoop earrings (no danger of having them yanked out), and take off their jackets (less restriction of movement) in order to deliver a McWhoopin' on the staff."
Yes, the three Memphis Transvestites were so upset over the lack of service at McDonald's that they assaulted the employees. It does beat calling 911, as another Black person did, but still, the story takes a most dramatic turn:
"The manager retaliated with a pot of scalding French-fry grease. When all was said and done, one worker was sent to the hospital by ambulance, windows were smashed, and the three trannies escaped before the police arrived."
Memphis transvestites do not like scalding French-fry grease, especially when it is provided by a manager of their favorite restaurant, McDonald's.

Black people love McDonald's. McDonald's, in turn, markets its product almost entirely at Black people and to the Black community.

However, Stuff Black People Don't Like is Memphis Transvestites, for they are a bane in the Black community and endanger McDonald's employees in each of the 18 McDonald's in the greater Memphis area.

#500. Running out of McNuggets (Reader Submitted idea)

Stuff Black People Don't Like is a new web-zine, dedicated to enlightening not only the United States, but the entire world on Stuff Black People Don't Like. However, due to the enormity of the task, we sometimes require outside help.

One reader suggested a recurring theme in our growing list, as Black people are morbidly afraid of running out of McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. Just like #207 and #206, Black people - when confronted with a dearth of their favorite food - are forced to some desparate measures. In the case of McDonald's lack of compacted chicken parts into a delcious nugget of nubian palatal bliss, it requires police inspection.

Latreasa Goodman called the police - three times - in an attempt to regain her money for the lack of McNuggets. Once the cops arrived, Goodman stated:

"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one... I called 911 because I couldn't get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets."
The police, nor McDonald's, were amused and Goodman was arrested. Resolute to the end, she said,

"This is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency."

Black people do not like having their daily rations of culinary delights denied and as Stuff Black People Don't Like will continue to address, it is wise try and stave off the wrath of a fast-food deprived Black person.
