#84. Only Winning Nobel Prizes for Peace

SBPDL has tried to make it clear to everyone that We Live in a Black World now, regardless of the demographic figures. All that matters anymore is the United States number one and two exports – sports and Mein Obama – and the citizens of not only our country but the entire world consume both in vast quantities.

From the National Basketball Association (NBA) to the National Football League (NFL), the citizens of our country will follow their professional team to the gates of Hell if they had too, and with sports being one of our top forms of economic production in the nation, we might as well admit the US is not even a service economy anymore, but a hybrid sports-consumption economic society.

Sports project a positive image of Black people – if you don’t read Jeff Benedict’s work - since Black people are capable of performing the extraordinary feat of running with a football and putting a ball into basket. However, one skill that eludes Black people is flying planes, a task no amount of government intervention can rightfully alter.

Our second most valuable export is Barack Obama, a real-life General Zod. Black people know this, which is why they support him with nearly unanimous numbers and why the look to him as being the man who drove the stake deep into the heart of Pre-Obama America.

His approval rating in America might be slipping – among everyone but Black people - and social unrest might be just around the corner as the economy slides into disaster mode – just ask the good citizens of Detroit – but Zod/Obama has finally been given the honor that he rightfully deserves; a Nobel Prize for Peace:

"A beaming President Barack Obama said Friday he was both honored and humbled to win the Nobel Peace Prize and would accept it as a "call to action" to work with other nations to solve the world's most pressing problems.

Obama told reporters in the White House Rose Garden that he wasn't sure he had done enough to earn the award, or deserved to be in the company of the "transformative figures" who had won it before him.

But, he said, "I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century."

Barack Obama is seen as the 21st version of Ozymandias, and in this Black man rests the ability for the world to be unified (which the Nobel committee took into consideration for his prize):

Ozymandias was another name for Ramesses the Great, Pharaoh of the nineteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt. Ozymandias represents a transliteration into Greek of a part of Ramesses' throne name, User-maat-re Setep-en-re. The sonnet paraphrases the inscription on the base of the statue, given by Diodorus Siculus as "King of Kings am I, Osymandias. If anyone would know how great I am and where I lie, let him surpass one of my works.”

The Nobel Prize is correct to award Obama with this honor, for his election has lead to peace in the United States. Were it not for his election, the chaotic scene in Detroit, where upwards to 50,000 Black people thought they would be getting a stimulus check, would be repeated in every major city. Black people have the highest unemployment of any racial group in America and yet, having a fellow Black occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue keeps alive the prospect of hope and change.

A white person in office would be cause for riots, as no positive net growth in jobs is beyond the horizon, and the rate of unemployment will only aggregate in the coming months. Yet, Obama is seen as the figure who can eradicate this imbalance, merely by maintaining his current melanin level.

Sadly, the Nobel Prize for Peace that Obama was bestowed is but another honor given to a Black person for Peace:

The first Nobel Prizes were awarded in 1901, it was not until 1950 that a Black person was a recipient. An African American from Detroit, Dr. Ralph J. Bunche was the first black man to receive the distinguished prize for his work as a United Nations mediator; his efforts led to the 1949 Arab-Israeli armistice agreement.

Ten other remarkable Blacks have received a Nobel: Albert John Luthuli, 1960 Peace Prize; Martin Luther King Jr., 1964 Peace Prize; Sir William Arthur Lewis, 1979 Economics Prize; Bishop Desmond Tutu, 1984 Peace Prize; Wole Soyinka, 1986 Literature Prize; Derek Walcott, 1992 Literature Prize; Toni Morrison, 1993 Literature Prize; Nelson Mandela, 1993 Peace Prize, Kofi Annan 2001 Peace Prize and Wangari Maathai, 2004.”

How peaceful is the world currently? Let’s just say the United Nations is considering calling rape a tool of war, which doesn’t bode to well for those who are committing it in open warfare in America.

No, Black people have been honored primarily for bringing a faux-peace to the world, where it has quickly devolved into an even more bellicose state than it was before – a precursor of things to come in the United States with Obama’s latest gift from Nobel.

Take for instance Dr. Bunche. He sure did a good job ending that Arab-Israel conflict, didn’t he? Or Desmond Tutu of South Africa, as his nation is a beacon of peace and prosperity.

What other honors does the Nobel Committee give? Alfred Nobel stated this, in his will:

“The capital shall be invested by my executors in safe securities and shall constitute a fund, the interest on which shall be annually distributed in the form of prizes to those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind.

The said interest shall be divided into five equal parts, which shall be apportioned as follows: one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery or invention within the field of physics; one part to the person who shall have made the most important chemical discovery or improvement; one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery within the domain of physiology or medicine; one part to the person who shall have produced in the field of literature the most outstanding work of an idealistic tendency; and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity among nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”

Black people have won 11 Nobel Prizes, with most coming in the peace category and others in the literature and economics category, or 1.4 percent of all Nobel’s given out.

Never has a Black person won a Nobel Prize for work in the field of chemistry, physics or medicine and sadly, no award is handed out for best overall athlete.

William Shockley and James Watson, however, both won Nobel Prizes for their work in ENSURING humanity survived.

Obama is seen as the man who has brought peace to the world, as he has skillfully kept the United States from entering economically-fueled riots, but the scene in Detroit earlier this week showed what is coming. The Nobel Prize he won is a great honor, but it may turn out to be short lived. Stuff Black People Don’t like includes only winning Nobel Prizes for Peace, because more than 70 percent of their awards have come in this category.

The Nobel Prize is thus inherently racist for only awarding prizes in the fields of chemistry, physics and medicine to white people or Asians. Black people have made contributions in these fields… haven’t they?

Organized Communities...

SBPDL has been sitting on The Reality of Cook County story for sometime, and felt in the horrific and violent death of Derrion Albert the time for holding out on this important piece was over.

RIP Derrion. Your death is the result of our nation - a nation of cowards - who refuse to confront the reality of race in America without name calling and resorting to silencing Hate Facts.

Sadly, the President of the United States, Mein Obama, has yet to say the actions of the four Black youth arrested for Derrion's death acted "stupidly"...

For all intents and purposes, Stuff Black People Don't Like is a site that tries to present unpleasant facts in as positive a light as possible.

Black people, however, refuse to admit the seriousness of the situation that Black people face - collectively - in America. SBPDL.com has documented the reasons that this is, and it goes far beyond the hero worship of Zod Obama.

It's time to stop being cowards. We must have a truthful national discourse on race in America. President Obama, the great community organizer from Chicago, it is obvious YOUR community is in complete disharmony.

The financial meltdown of the United States is upon us, and by all intents and purposes, what we witnessed in Iceland could happen in America at any time.

The reality of the impending collapse of the dollar though, doesn't portend for as civil a riot as our Nordic friends in Iceland participated in, for we know that Black people don't like to be out-rioted.

Imagine New Orleans 2005 in every city. This is a scenario that sounds apocalyptic, yet the reality of the United States becoming insolvent is no longer a nightmarish dream.

It might just be around the corner. Think how many stores closed their doors in 2008:
"Circuit City. Linens 'N Things. Bombay Co. They're all out of business, their stores shuttered, many employees laid off."
KB Toys is gone. Foot Locker is fading. Other major companies, from Hertz to Sprint-Nextel are facing Bankruptcy.

These companies that collapsed and that are facing extinction, employed and employee a lot of Black people.

No one will admit what is coming, so SBPDL will. Civil unrest is rising in America and Zod-Obama is watching as Middle American Radicals (MARs) are marching on DC. Black people are killing other Black people at an alarming rate.

Riots are coming
. And SBPDL was the first to warn you.

#419. Labor Day 2009

Labor Day signifies one of the last weekends of summer and the transitioning into the fall season, as in many states across the nation leaves begin to change color and a crisp can be felt in the air.

Labor Day has an interesting history in the United States that few people think about as they host friends for a barbeque or enjoy one last weekend by the pool:

“The first Labor Day in the United States was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City. In the aftermath of the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the US military and US Marshals during the 1894 Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with Labor as a top political priority. Fearing further conflict, legislation making Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through Congress unanimously and signed into law a mere six days after the end of the strike.”

In 2009, fears of economic destabilization are felt by millions across the United States, as even under the watchful eyes of Mein Obama, the country is heading into a territory not seen since the 1930s:
“Since late 2007, seven million jobs have vanished in the United States and industrial production has fallen nearly 17 percent, statistics show. Official unemployment hovers just under 10 percent in the United States, the highest since the early 1980s. But the unemployed and underemployed together total 16.8 percent of the labor force, which means one out of six American workers is unemployed or underemployed."

We here at SBPDL view the state of economy with trepidation, for if even under the incredibly capable hands of Mein Obama the country can see horrifying job loss and the erosion of the middle class, then what does that tell about the future of the country in Post-Obama America?

What is really doing on currently in the economy? Do the collapse of AIG and the complete destruction of the credit-default swap scam and the massive sub-prime mortgage disaster portend the economic ruin of the AGE OF OBAMA before it even gets started?

Black people are afraid to answer this question, for the data does not paint a pretty picture and puts the AGE OF OBAMA is serious danger of defaulting:
“Men are clearly in worse shape than women. The unemployment rate for adult men is 10.1 percent, compared with 7.6 percent for adult women… Black unemployment increased 0.6 percent to 15.1 percent, compared with an unemployment rate of 8.4 percent before the start of the recession.”

Black people have seen disastrous results since supporting Obama with 96 percent of their vote in the 2008 presidential election. Yes, they have a Black person occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but when a white guy was in office they could always claim racism whenever things went collectively bad for Black people.

Now, Obama is beginning to see disingenuous white liberals pull up anchor and leave the glitz and glamour of the AGE OF OBAMA to the same fate as the Titanic:

“Among white Democrats, Obama’s job approval rating has dropped 11 points since his 100-days mark in April, according to surveys by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. It has dropped by 9 points among white independents and whites over 50, and by 12 points among white women -- all groups that will be targeted by both parties in next year's midterm elections.”

Now, only Black people are fully behind Mein Obama and are in hope that he can be the force needed to get Black people back into the job market:

“Blacks led the national increase in unemployment as the jobless rate for African Americans soared to 15.1 percent – up from 14.5 percent in July…As for Blacks, the situation could get worse before it gets better. Employment is usually the last section of the economy to recover from a recession. Further, African Americans have historically been plagued by the tendency to be the last hired when things do start to get better.”

Worse, in New York City, Black people find themselves out of work at a pace that for some reason can’t crack the edifice of Mein Obama’s popularity:

“While unemployment rose steadily for white New Yorkers from the first quarter of 2008 through the first three months of this year, the number of unemployed blacks in the city rose four times as fast, according to a report to be released on Monday by the city comptroller’s office. By the end of March, there were about 80,000 more unemployed blacks than whites, according to the report, even though there are roughly 1.5 million more whites than blacks here."

Jefferson County, Detroit and the reality of Clayton County are all becoming the reality of life in Post-Obama America. The middle-class is eroding and Black people are getting mad at the ineffectiveness of Obama to help find Black people jobs:

When asked about the black unemployment issue by American Radio Network's April Ryan, Obama had to do a difficult dance. In light of the country's impatience, this was no time for America's first black president to actually be a black president. Obama took the question in stride, explaining that the best thing he can do for black people is to help the entire economy. He also succumbed to the fact that African American unemployment is traditionally much higher - nearly double - that of whites.”

Black people aren’t too concerned about the record unemployment for white males in Georgia – a whopping 211 percent increase in unemployment insurance by white males since 2007’s numbers were counted – nor will they ever worry about the lack of diversity in Federal employment:

“This year the First Place prize in the federal quota competition again goes to Court Services and Offender Services (CSOS) for employing 808% more blacks than their affirmative action target (quota).”

Black people view their economic displacement as the preeminent cause to combat in this country. They had high hopes for THE AGE OF OBAMA and with the rate of Black unemployment rising quickly they can’t blame THE MAN, for the highest office in the land is occupied by a Black dude.

The reality of Labor Day 2009 for Black people is that the economy under Mein Obama is not going to get any better – for them or any race. The nation has been savaged by feckless policies for far too long and not even the touch of the Barack Obama can save the economy now.

Stuff Black People Don’t Like
includes Labor Day 2009, for the jobless rate for Black people is reaching historic highs, and the promise of Black people no longer putting gas in their car or paying their mortgage is out the window for good.
