Matrix Reloaded vs. Opening Ceremony of World Cup

If you have seen the film Matrix Reloaded, then you are well aware of the famous Zion dancing scene.

If not, watch it here, then compare it to the World Cup Opening Ceremony in South Africa below.

Now compare the above to the 2008 Chinese Opening Ceremonies for the Summer Olympics.

SBPDL,

Please explain this borderline obsession with soccer and South Africa.

South Africa only matters in academia. No American gives a damn about soccer. The sport's dismal attendance is possibly a close second to the WNBA.

Obsession is stopping now, as noted in previous post.

Damn negro trying to sound smart.

Why is the NAACP attention-whoring over these greeting cards? Can't they find a different issue, like another group of six black kids who beat the shit out of a white boy?

Things must truly have improved for blacks if they're now moaning about greeting cards. No more lynchings, segregation, or even a lack of entitlement programs. I guess you have to bitch about something, though.

On the "black male not being able to catch a cab tip," I can't believe that's still an issue. I remember when I was younger I used to deliver pizzas. My route took me through the suburbs all the way into the ghetto. I was robbed at gunpoint by some negro in a public housing project. After that incident, I refused to deliver there. When will racists like me ever learn to open their hearts?

These creatures have taken no solace from having a black sitting president, have they? 13% of the population demanding total control. Black America uses extortionate logic. The more you get, the more you demand.

Thank God for the drepanocytosis (look it up).

Save your damn negro shit for stereotyping. Not that he needs any help to defend himself but he is a respected regular contributor. Better hope you meet him when someone stops to help with a flat tire than some gang banger.

MLS is currently averaging more people per game than either the NBA or NHL. Yes, total attendance is a lot less because MLS play fewer games, but this idea that no one in the USA watches or cares about soccer is asinine and ignorant. Wake up: you don't have a clue.

It HAS been explained, and in spite of the collective indifference to soccer (myself included), the posts have been quite amusing.

I apologize for the letting the "damn negro" comment slip in. I took the afternoon off and saw a movie and inadvertently approved that comment.

Keep it highbrow ladies and gents!

Please move greeting card comments to appropriate post.

That explains how the viagra-spam slipped trough.

I've never re-watched any of the Matrix movies after Reloaded. After a while they become little more than multi-cult masturbation fantasies.

Don't go getting all PC now. Lowbrow is just funnier.

Both sequels were god-awful, the Zion dancing scene was perhaps the most idiotic/absurd element of the entire series.

South Africa obsession; most definitely! That really should stop. What if the World Cup goes swimmingly? Will you cry, friend?

If you think about it, the World Cup's spectators are a bunch of drunken sports fans. I pretty sure they would much more prefer to watch a musical act (concert style) than a what the Chinese put on. after a couple of beers, I doubt they'd appreciate such art.

China was also on the West's shitlist over Tibet and Mao and all of that Communist stuff. They had a LOT to prove, which is not the same with South Africa.

I'm just saying, you can't compare a sports event to something like the Olympics. The Olympics is the tops in athletics; World Cup, not really.

I rooted for China...

Damn, kid; that explains a lot!

SBPDL, please-please-please create a post so whites can list their negative experiences with blacks and their justifications for their own narrow-minded generalizations in the comments.

That would be a fantastic read, full of giggles galore!

Fear is not the way to live, folks!

If nobody in America gave a damn about soccer then why did 17 million people watch the USA vs England game on Saturday - more than any game of the Negro Basketball Association Finals

Your ignorance and stupidity is why everyone makes fun of black and why this very blog exists.

I got a better idea. Why don't we all post our GOOD experiences with blacks?
