The Tea Party and Black People

Black people don’t like taxes. Then again, no one does. The birth of the United States has its origins in the remonstration against a minor tax on tea imports imposed by England.

Now, without massive taxation, most of the entitlement programs that have been constructed since the New Deal, continued through The Great Society and enlarged by subsequent presidential administrations would be unfunded.

The Federal Government of the United States is quite powerful, relying on taxes to employ millions of people who control the lives of hundreds of millions.

However, a substantial debt – greater than Norm Peterson’s bar tab on Cheers – has been accrued by those in charge who deemed nation-building; foreign aid; the bailing out of banks, car companies, insurance companies and mortgage and investment firms a sound financial direction for the dwindling capital left in the Federal coffers.

Enter the Tea Party movement, a coalition of MARs strongly opposed to people acknowledging the overwhelming whiteness of the assembly of people who gather in staunch resistance to taxation:

The tea party movement is disturbingly racist and reactionary, from its roots to its highest branches. On Saturday, as a small group of protesters jammed the Capitol and the streets around it, the movement's origins in white resistance to the Civil Rights Movement was impossible to ignore.”

Keith Olbermann went on a spirited rant against the implicit and overt racism of the white people gathering to protest, ah, well, we at SBPDL aren’t sure what they are protesting. Is it taxes? If so, they’ve been bad for a while, and the Federal deficit grew by leaps and bounds under that white guy, George W. Bush.

Is it health care? Republicans seem pretty excited about the prospects of Mitt Romney as the candidate for president in 2012. Didn’t he pass comprehensive health care in his Massachusetts when he was governor there?

No one talks about the Iraq or Afghanistan wars anymore, so it can’t be about that.

The Tea Party protesters are a group of malcontents, elderly white individuals that have decided (conveniently at the same time Mein Obama became president) to voice opposition to the leviathan in Washington DC:

CNN has released the first poll which looks at the demographic aspects of the people who support the Tea Party movement. At times some liberals have accused Tea Party members of being dumb, older white people who are caught up in the anti-government fury. The poll reveals that some of these assumptions are true while others are not.

First let us look at the positive aspects of the Tea Party supporters. They are actually more highly educated that the rest of the population. 40% of Tea Party supporters said they had a college degree while only 28% of the rest of the population could boast of such an accomplishment. In addition the Tea Party is actually not dominated by older people anymore than the rest of the population. The age demographic of the movement actually matches up almost exactly with the rest of the nation. 20% of Tea Party supporters are under the age of 20 and 60% of Tea Party members are under the age of 50. So when we talk about the educated elite in America that description actually fits Tea Party members more than Democrats.

The bad news for the Tea Party is that Keith Olbermann appears to have been correct when he accused them of lacking diversity. Only 2% of Tea Party supporters were African-American compared to 10% for the rest of respondents. 80% of Tea Party members identified themselves as "white."

Why is that bad news, you might wonder, that the Tea Party lacks diversity? Is it bad news that Black people supported Obama in the 2008 election with nearly 97 percent of their votes?

Black people don’t support the Tea Party protests because they don’t agree with any of the underlining principles that guide these white protesters into standing in front a buildings, listening to horrible songs and waving flags, clinging to a dead nations memory.

Imagine – put on your Ayn Rand cap for a second – if the wishes of the Tea Party movement were magically made possible (no, you can’t have a Coke yet) and implemented in Congress tomorrow.

Pretty much every Federal agency would be unfunded, along with the destruction of Section 8 housing, food stamp programs, all welfare payments gone. Free health care to eliminate the racial disparities that exist, well this idea is gone too. Affirmative action policies in higher education and corporations that help Black people acquire positions would be a thing of the past since they run counter to ideals of freedom and justice. The Federal Government, the largest employer of Black people in America, would suddenly be trimmed down significantly if the Tea Party people had their way. And yes, Black people – who have no fear of losing their jobs due to EEOC laws – would be the first employees fired:

“Statistics on this “blackening” of the government workforce confirm what many know from their humdrum encounters with the government. EEOC figures show that between 1980 and 2005, the number of blacks in city and state government rose from 619,000 to 1.1 million, an increase of 481,000 (U.S. Statistical Abstract 2009, Table 446). A recent detailed study of black employment at federal agencies found almost universal massive over-representation. This is especially true where job requirements are modest. So, for example, in the U.S. Court Services and Offender Services, blacks compared to their general population numbers were over-represented by 808 percent. Remarkably, over-representation also existed in more “technical” agencies: NASA (49.4 percent), National Science Foundation (318.2 percent), Security and Exchange Commission (112.6 percent) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (68.3 percent).”

Click here for a comprehensive study that shows the over-representation of Black people in government agencies and the people who would lose jobs immediately if the Tea Party got their wish.

Black Run America (BRA) is in no threat of being defeated by Tea Party protesters who lack the bravery to weather insignificant and unwarranted racism charges. Waving flags, witless posters and singing “God Bless America” doesn't have the unifying ability of a Jeremiah Wright sermon where he loudly proclaims “God Damn America”.

No, Black people have nothing to worry about though. SBPDL decided to attend a Tea Party rally on the 15th of April (after paying taxes), and was overwhelmed by the extreme fatuousness of the participants. Anger and resentment were palpable, but the direction at whom or what wasn’t easily discernible.

Signs ranging the whole political gamut were evident, with many bemoaning the Federal Reserve, others attacking Barack Obama and countless others sporting “Don’t Tread on me” flags, all the while refusing to acknowledge the reason they all gathered in the first place: to bemoan the racial transformation of the country.

Engorged with a desire for a return to Pre-Obama America, these white people gathering to protest a nebulous enemy- deathly afraid to admit the common denominator that unites all Tea Party protesters is their racial ancestry – sprint away from accusations of racism, shoving any Token Black to the front of their patchwork movement.

Compare this derision at the Tea Party protest crowd with the desires of Black people who engage in ‘Flash Mobs’ without a moment’s hesitation (in Philly, Atlanta and Kansas City) and target people who do not reflect the racial makeup of their homogeneous mob.

Yes, Mein Obama has been a disaster as president. Black people still support him with an approval rating of over 90 percent, but every other racial group is bailing on him without reservation.

Time magazine recently asked if the Tea Party white people and their philosophy are correct about taxation. Could these white people who believe taxes are onerous and the nation is bankrupt and incapable of paying down the debt be correct?

They answer in the affirmative, but with a caveat: Get over it! You have to pay for the existence of Black Run America (BRA) and the greatest transfer of wealth since Karl Marx first dreamed up Communism in the mid-1800s.

The New York Times – long afraid to publish the race of the criminal in any story dealing with murder or petty offense – exhorted the continued lambasting of Tea Party participants with a piece published yesterday:

The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.

The Tea Party movement burst onto the scene a year ago in protest of the economic stimulus package, and its supporters have vowed to purge the Republican Party of officials they consider not sufficiently conservative and to block the Democratic agenda on the economy, the environment and health care. But the demographics and attitudes of those in the movement have been known largely anecdotally…

The overwhelming majority of supporters say Mr. Obama does not share the values most Americans live by and that he does not understand the problems of people like themselves. More than half say the policies of the administration favor the poor, and 25 percent think that the administration favors blacks over whites — compared with 11 percent of the general public.

They are more likely than the general public, and Republicans, to say that too much has been made of the problems facing black people.

Asked what they are angry about, Tea Party supporters offered three main concerns: the recent health care overhaul, government spending and a feeling that their opinions are not represented in Washington.

Stuff Black People Don’t Like can safely state that Black people have nothing to fear from the Tea Party movement. No member of any Tea Party would dare call a Black person a nigger or use a racial epithet, for the mere mention of race might cause them to spontaneously combust in a fit of righteous indignation as they struggle to locate the Black person in the crowd they proudly call ‘friend’.

That’s how you know the whole story with Congressmen John Lewis and other Black politicians claiming incendiary words were callously hurled at them by angry Tea Party protesters is a lie. Subconsciously, Lewis might have heard these crowds of white people say such a vitriolic term, but in reality, they were frightened and awed by a leading member of the Black Run America’s (BRA) elite.

Look, the Federal Government is in no danger of decreasing in size. In 1994, the Republicans had a ‘Contract with America’ where they promised to bring responsibility back to government. 16 years after this promise (and 8 years of a wild kegger with the Bush Administration that we will continually pay for) the government has shrunk in the least.

White people are worried about life in Mein Obama’s America. But they won’t do anything about it except stand around and hold signs sporting quips and witticisms of questionable merit. Though they are patriotic, God-fearing people, they still fear being called a racist.

Thus the pen is mightier than the sword. The media has ingrained in the ‘silent majorities’ minds that they are wrong to gather together in opposition to a Black leader and his policies.

Unlike Damocles Sword, the threat of being called a racist keeps these Tea Party protesters from having an impact. No weapon, just a word.

The Tea Party isn’t prejudiced… no, it is just that their ideas of freedom and liberty run counter to Black peoples notions of hope and change. Someone has to fit the bill for all these programs, and white people are beginning to realize that even as the server, they are expected to pay for the bill fully.

And don’t expect a tip.

So the question is simply this: what will the Tea Party people eventually do? If the Republicans regain power, will they go back to life as usual? The Federal government won't stop growing, and yet, neither will the Tea Party.

It seems the people who condemn the tea-party movement as racist are committing the logical fallacy. You know, tigers have stripes. Zebras have stripes. Therefore, a Zebra is a tiger. Yes, the Klan was a majority white organization, and the tea-party movement is comprised of white people. Therefore...

This erroneous game can be played both ways, though. The rapper Jay-Z admits he sold crack in his youth. He voted for Obama. Everyone who voted for Obama sells crack.

Neither of the above arguments is true, but it's a safe bet that the latter will never be put forward by either Keith Olberman or Chris Mathews.

What confuses me most about Obama detractors is why they criticize him for his health care overhaul (from which they will see some dividends) and say nothing of his continued bailout of necrotic banking institutions. You won't get a kidney transplant from the tarp program, or anything else advocated by the vampires with which Obama surrounds himself, such as Rahm Emmanuel.

Yes, Obama is a crook and a liar, but he has yet to enter the rarefied atmosphere of dog-stench which Bush occupies. And Obama won't make the mistake of committing a Watergate or Monica Lewinsky. He knows too many are salivating over the prospect.

SBPDL,

"Now, without massive taxation, most of the entitlement programs that have been constructed since the New Deal, continued through The Great Society and enlarged by subsequent presidential administrations would be unfunded."

Lets look at history truthfully, there haven't been any actual "entitlement programs" since the New Deal and the Great Society. Promises made during campaign speeches and crazy rants made by unelected paid pundits like Jesse and Al don't count.

"The Federal Government of the United States is quite powerful, relying on taxes to employ millions of people who control the lives of hundreds of millions."

True, the Federal government is extremely powerful, but they don't derive their power from taxes. They are playing with trillions of dollars in real money. Their power comes from their connections to the rich and often times corrupt people and organizations world wide. Millions of government workers controlling millions citizens? What a joke! That's like saying the thousands of Wal mart workers have even remote control over Wal mart corporation.

Just the mere fact that our nation can be bankrupt but Bank of America or AIG can not.

If that doesn't tell you who is really running the show I don't know what to say.

So, get angry like children at Bush, Reagan, Nixon, Barry the half breed, etc...It doesn't matter a hell of beans because they are not in control.

BGuy,

I despise the Tea Party movement. I have read every book that has come out since the "collapse" and don't disagree with your view.

American International Group, Goldman Sachs, et al... your are correct.

Read the book Vanity Fair just put out on the financial collapse. It's a collection of essays from the magazine with contributions from Michael Lewis - of "The Blind Side" and "Liar's Poker" fame - and others that illustrates just how screwed our nation is.

I'm very anti-war (unless the war is just). Look, my hero in life is Pat Tillman. He wasn't a leftist nor a right winger. He was a patriot. He fought in a war he knew was unjust and illegal, but he did it for honor.

One day, those on the left and the right who have sold out America will pay.

With each passing we draw closer to that moment.

The "Tea Party" people can't differentiate a Credit Default Swap or a Collateral Debt Obligation from a Compact Disc.

They have no idea what is going on and how we just bailed out Goldman Sachs yet watched Lehman Brothers and Bear Sterns collapse.

Just like the Comedian in "Watchmen", I believe it is all a joke.

We are powerless to stop any of it. But, the collapse of Black America is a contingency that our rulers weren't prepared for.

Look, there are horrible white people. Low class, low IQ, ect.

But the prevalence of "Flash Mobs", horrible crime rates - Black on Black crime is reaching pandemic levels - and other factors is something that is even out of the "powers that be" hands.

We live in interesting times. I have a feeling the summer of 2010 will be one for the ages.

Why do you feel the constant need to point out "there are horrible white people" "there are white criminals", etc? Do you feel the need to justify your reasons for starting this website? You condem the Tea Party for going out of its way to point out that they are not racist, but I get the feeling you are doing the same thing. Blacks commit more crimes than whites. On average, blacks are not as smart as whites. Everyone knows it. If you want to be racist, its OK. Its not illegal, yet.

As far as the summer of 2010 being one for the ages, here in Chicago, our favorite oppressed minority is already getting the summer off to a memorable start

As I said in the other post. The tea party is being inflitrated by liberal republicans and neo cons. It really doesn't matter how many blacks are involved. Nothing is gonna change. The NWO won't let it.

The government is corrupt and this includes the republicans. The tea party will just be taken over by the republicans. Sarah Palin is a good example. A supposed conservative. But why then did she campaign for John mccain, a non conservative neo con? Sean Hannity and Glen beck are jokes. Glen beck is a phoney and Sean Hannity loves to run scams.

What is the point of the tea party, if it just does the same old crap?

1--"But the prevalence of "Flash Mobs", horrible crime rates - Black on Black crime is reaching pandemic levels - and other factors is something that is even out of the "powers that be" hands."

Who made note of innocent black GOP Ken Gladney’s mugging in MO by SEIU racist goons? The ‘black listed’ republicans include Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, and JC Watts among others.

You note the wealth of information provided by a book of which you describe all details except it's contents other than to say America is 'screwed'. Since the focus is on 'black people', last month's Bureau of Labor statistics provided interesting facts. This month Obama announced the creation of 162,000 jobs, nothing was mentioned of black jobs. He made campaign promises to unemployed blacks. The Bureau's statistics found if you are white the rate held steady at 8.8% although the numbers for minorities continue to rise. The 16.6% black unemployment is indicative of a racial recession, but who is talking about it? Who in our news media is not frontpaging Tea Party racism today?

2--"The "Tea Party" people can't differentiate a Credit Default Swap or a Collateral Debt Obligation from a Compact Disc. They have no idea what is going on and how we just bailed out Goldman Sachs yet watched Lehman Brothers and Bear Sterns collapse."

Do not forget what Maxine Waters(black) told us: “And guess what this liberal would be all about. This liberal will be about socializing … uh, um. … Would be about…, basically…, taking over…, and the government running all of your companies.” Unlike the GOP Uncle Toms who are fighting for freedom for opportunity for everyone, Waters displays her party’s anti-civil rights roots.

3--"I despise the Tea Party movement. I have read every book that has come out since the "collapse" and don't disagree with your view."

Dr M L King was a republican. This is the same crowd who brutally attacked him and assaulted other peaceful activists. These people were trying to prevent the left from denying blacks their civil rights.

Your perspectives are very narrow. The Tea Party objective is based around peacefully questioning the policies of those with whom they disagree. Yet consider reactions against them in Searchlight. Terrorists protesters threw eggs in expression of personal disagreement rather than addressing their policy beliefs.

The libs refused to go near the policies of the numerous judicial appointees they stalled, blocked, and filibustered, electing to dig up personal information and spin it against them. Today the dems cry unfair if the GOP were to filibuster Obama’s appointees.

In 2006 the libs waited until after Foley had filed for election before flooding mass media with explicit implications of his personal sexual life. At that point they realized the GOP was unable to replace him. Even so, Brothel Barney heads Campaign Finance today.

The Tea Party consists of a group representing America. They are not GOP, Independents, or liberals, they consist of all sectors. As a whole they are America. As Americans, like us, they want policies addressed and are sick of dealing with personal demoralization.

Why do I have so many neighbors, first and second generation foreigners, who are quite successful today? Many are darker than me yet they do not work for the government. Many of us never wanted to go to college and as a result did poorly yet were successful in the business world. And all of these supposed disadvantages, such as 'horrible crime rates' and blackness, some of us gifted white people have lived with diseases, family problems... our entire lives, so what?

How many are questioning Obama’s failure to live up to his campaign promises for unemployed blacks? Why don’t they see racism in the difference between white and black unemployment rates? Instead they focus on our Tea Party.

I am happy you are conceding all of my other points. I also commend you for posting them.

Rather than taking the time to locate the FBI files, I ran a simple query. Human Events: "It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. In that era, almost all black Americans were Republicans." Since I am unable to locate any form of scripting on this blog I will spell it out;
www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=16500
If you so desire, there are many URLs more which say the same.

Obama gave a campaign speech on 8/28/09 where he packed his black audience in the upper deck. The focus of his 'rally' concerned a laundry list of socialist propaganda. Locate the 'speech' and find Dr King's name mentioned anywhere in it. After you cannot, ask yourself why such a profound socialist leader would be ignored. We both know you are intelligent enough to realize why.

The problem with the Tea Party is that they are making a mockery and a joke out of true grievances against this government. There has been corruption, waste, fraud, and abuse for decades prior to the election of that phony Barry the half breed, and trust me when I say it the Tea Party will go back to the wood shed when he leaves office in 2012.

Lots of people to reply too! I was enjoying a beautiful day outside and formulating replies...

Let's start with anon at 6:00 pm on April 16, who asks:

"Why do you feel the constant need to point out "there are horrible white people" "there are white criminals", etc? Do you feel the need to justify your reasons for starting this website? You condem the Tea Party for going out of its way to point out that they are not racist, but I get the feeling you are doing the same thing. Blacks commit more crimes than whites. This is a good question. The answer is simple: because there exists horrible white people who need to be punished. However, a quick glance at www.thugreport.com or any nightly news cast will show the real nuisance within our society.

My views are pretty well formulated throughout the many posts on this website. I shy away from no subject.

If the Tea Party people had an effective leader they could unite behind (instead of pet causes and goofy C-list celebrities), then you could see a HUGE movement spring up overnight.

They (the Tea Party people) know something is horribly wrong, however they were absent from 2001-2009 when George W. Bush was bankrupting the country (read any Paul Craig Robert piece on the US economy).

Yet, they rise with anger when a Black man is elected president. I believe in truth. Admit that something is rotten in Denmark and throw all the bums (Democrat or Republican) out.

Anything Newt Gingrich involves himself in is automatically unworthy of investing time and effort into contributing too. The Tea Party people are dupes who waste energy standing around singing "God Bless America"... America died a long time ago. The Constitution is virtually irrelevant.

But again... I believe that the corrupt must be punished. That means white and Black people. My feelings on racism should be pretty obvious to anyone who has 30 minutes to invest reading this website.

You are correct. IQ studies, SAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, MCAT and EVERY intelligent test confirms that on average Black people are not as smart as white people.

Just take a look at the excellent sample data from the Wonderlic scores of NFL players.

Thanks for visiting! Great question, and I hope that served to answer it.

All people who do evil to others must be severely dealt with.

My views on politics are beautifully debated in the film "Watchmen" - I vacillate constantly in an internal debate about the positive merits of both Rorschach and Ozymandias.

You ask:

SBPDL,

You say, "I despise the Tea Party movement."

Anyone you don't despise? I mean L'Roi notwithstanding."

Good question Porter. By nature, I'm a very easy going person. I'm highly optimistic and a person who likes to be the life of the party.

However, having gone to numerous Tea Party rallies and viewed these God-fearing people standing around with feckless signs and left dumbfounded and speechless as to what they aim to accomplish.

These people attending rallies all live in Whitopia's and will only state the reason for doing is for the "good schools", which is a code-word for "all-white". I grew up in one of the ultimate Whitopia's in America (if not the world) and will never understand why people fear the truth.

SBPDL is unafraid to discuss any issue. Any. With friends, acquaintances and people I don't even know, I am always cordial and polite, but never shy away from voicing strong opinions.

Stand for something, or fall for anything.... well, I stand for principles that I will not compromise.

The Tea Party people stand for nothing, because they refuse to admit what drives them to gather in the first place: a Black president.

Where were they during the Bush years: when the Patriot Act was erected, the national debt exploded to pay for two pointless wars, and we as nation became virtually bankrupt with the bailing out of banks that specialized in Credit Default Swaps (CDO) that went belly-up when the idea of giving out sub-prime mortgages backfired?

Wave your flag all you want, walk around in the red, white and blue. I go to these Tea Party events and see desperation in the eyes of the people attending.

They know something is horribly wrong in America, never realizing its already over.

American,

I didn't concede any of your points, mon frere.

On the contrary, by stating Martin Luther King was a Republican I immediately decided your comments lacked any merit, thus undeserving of further comment.

MLK was a Marxist. I admire MLK for his devotion to his people (although the night he died, he was bedding a white prostitute, a taste he shares with Tiger Woods).

I read the piece in Human Events that you linked to when it was published. It is nonsense, like most of the garbage that magazine publishes.

Martin Luther King is the founder of the new United States, taking the position of George Washington as the new indispensable man. Without MLK, the nation we live in today wouldn't exist.

Invoking his name casts the opposition in an untenable spot, as anyone daring to criticize St. Martin is committing blasphemy.

Republicans want limited government, right? MLK wanted affirmative action programs and job programs paid for by the tax payer to help out Black people.

The erection of policies to bring about these changes created new Federal Agencies and Laws that have cost trillions (in dollars and untold opportunity costs).

Did you read the piece I linked to from Lew Rockwell?

Here's a piece from Richard Spencer's site, Alternative Right. You might like it.

http://www.alternativeright.com/main/blogs/district-of-corruption/obamacare-is-a-civil-right/

American, you seem like an educated person. Be reasonable though and read the piece I linked to and this one, so you can further your knowledge of the subject you seem so steadfast about:

http://vdare.com/gottfried/mlk_day.htm

MLK was no Republican. If you can believe for a second that he was, you will thus be able to believe anything.

MLK was a Marxist and a man who cared deeply for his people.

I respect the latter, the former I can not.

It tells you something about Human Events and the Republican Party now a-days if they try and claim this Marxist as one of them.

http://vdare.com/francis/050226_king_holiday.htm

This is why the Tea Party are feckless, if they yearn to have MLK as an exemplifier of Republican values... no further proof is needed.

SBPDL,

You say..."Wave your flag all you want, walk around in the red, white and blue."

Please. From what dream was this straw man conjured? I recognize that the American government is growing ever more hostile to my family and culture. That fact is not one I'm inclined to cheer and have not done so here. I've always commented on the words you write, not those I imagine to be percolating in your mind. I'd appreciate you extending the same courtesy.

"I'm highly optimistic"

Really? And you express this optimism through nihilism? Well I'm not optimistic whatsoever, though I find nihilists to be about as useful as a lawnmower in a swimming pool.

But maybe I'm under the wrong impression. Because you later praise yourself with..."Stand for something, or fall for anything.... well, I stand for principles that I will not compromise."

I'm sure you're the only one who feels that way about themselves. So what are those principles you will not compromise? The principle that America is doomed and only "feckless" "fatuous" people are concerned? Or the principle that urbane hipsters are wise enough to watch the world burn, unlike those yokels looking for a fire extinguisher?

And as for federal spending, the first year under Obama spending grew by an amount equal to the entire defense budget of 2004. Does the concept of scale mean anything to you? Who knows if it does...like you, who cares? Though for the record, I also despise Bush and his wars. And I also hate that whites in general and the tea party specifically runs screaming from every suggestion of "racism." And you're right; they are desperate--as any sentient being would be as they watch their nation disintegrate under their feet.

Yet unlike you I don't lavish my hate so carelessly on the only people in the entire country trying to lift one finger against this monstrosity--be they "feckless" or not.

As not everyone is you, you'll have to grant that not everyone is endowed with your wisdom, insight, and uncompromising stance on justice and principle. You should grant some allowance for those so benighted and consider the possibility of making common cause with imperfect allies in a larger struggle. But then, that would presume some sentiment other than abject fatalism.

I'll apologize on their behalf for not having their parents drive them to protest the Ford Administration. But if your point is that Fox News doesn't care about these people and neither does Hannity, I concur.

Porter,

Your comments are well-reasoned and interesting. Thank you for them. I have had sufficient time to reflect upon them and after such, I feel you are correct in much of what you right. However, you write:

"Yet unlike you I don't lavish my hate so carelessly on the only people in the entire country trying to lift one finger against this monstrosity--be they "feckless" or not.

As not everyone is you, you'll have to grant that not everyone is endowed with your wisdom, insight, and uncompromising stance on justice and principle. You should grant some allowance for those so benighted and consider the possibility of making common cause with imperfect allies in a larger struggle. But then, that would presume some sentiment other than abject fatalism."

You would be correct about finding common cause with the Tea Party people. They are not ready yet though.

After this summer, I think a lot of eyes are going to opened to the reality of what the world is quickly becoming.

Perhaps then they'll be read.

Thanks for your always insightful commentary, Porter.

This week I'm going to post non-serious entries and bring back the humor.

Porter,

You say.."Yes there have been these things for decades. And decades ago these protesters were watching first-run episodes of Scooby-Doo. I'll apologize on their behalf for not having their parents drive them to protest the Ford Administration. And if I trusted you I'd be eating a ham sandwich on Pluto right now with all of your eminence grise conspiracy theories."

According to recent surveys decades ago many of these protesters were adults. If not the were definitely adults during the eight years of G.W. Bush. The one thing for certain was they were quiet little boys and girls during that spending orgy.

I know this may come as a shock to you but I don't disagree with the Tea Party in theory.

What I have a problem with is the sad truth that it is mostly comprised of morons being led by the nose by a "news" agency that is nothing more than a propaganda wing of a political party. When CNN finally decides to get in bed with the Democrats we will officially have state run media, just like our former friends in Iran and Cuba. This is basically a government sponsored movement. Its no different from the "anti war" protests during the Bush years.

Here's their slogan "Government can't be trusted, vote Republican" Anyone that can't see the lunacy in that is a complete moron.

Our "cowboy" president wasn't running the show for 8 years and Barry the half breed isn't running it now.

Vous avez vraiment les Français vers le bas, heure d'apprendre les faits.

If liberals were able to address issues directly the decades old playbook routine would have been replaced with responses supported by facts. If you had the facts we would not be reading the 'I didn't concede' spin.

Past time to end the links to the 'HuffPost' interpretation/feeling writers and once again support yourself with facts. You did not go near 'the fact' that Obama ignored Dr King in his socialists campaign speech, you cannot.

Dr King's niece writes a book about his republicanism. Thomas Sowell writes several articles on such as well as including the same in his books. Frances Rice writes about the same. JFK used his influence to chase the FBI after Dr King to mark him as a socialist going as far as ordering his brother Robert to wiretap him. Read any of the many features the NBRA has done on Dr King.

Obviously you cannot address any of the above other than to say something of the sort that I am a tunnel vision right-wing conservative who simply refuses to see the big picture. I do not expect you to think about it, never did. Who with half a brain believes they can convert liberals? It's been nothing more than an exercise, an alternative perspective, a few shots of Glenlevit before retiring for the weekend.

American,

Are you equating Alternative Right and Takimag with Huffington Post? Did you even read those pieces?

Do you know who Jesse Helms was? Do you know what Vdare is?

Do you believe Pro Wrestling is real? If you believe there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats, then you obviously must!

SBPDL,

Wait, Pro Wrestling isn't real? Say it ain't so.

SBPDL,

I certainly don't mean to dissuade you from taking on serious subjects. These are serious times.

You say that the Tea Partiers aren't ready yet. I agree. It is still an inchoate movement which desperately needs sound leadership and direction. The neocons are working furiously to co-opt this as they correctly view it as an existential threat to the semi-worthless Republicans. Who these people embrace as their leadership will be pivotal, as an inflection point is approaching.

My hope, my fantasy, is that they will have the courage to cast out their ludicrous black minstrels and cast off their debilitating fear of being called racist. As I said, they need fresh, bold, and principled leadership. You're a talented guy with a keen eye and sharp wit. Maybe you have a role to play in all of this. If even for the possibility it's why I hope you will resist the temptation to succumb to fatalism.

L'Roi,

You say..."When CNN finally decides to get in bed with the Democrats we will officially have state run media"

When? When??

I'm involved in the Tea Party Movement (hereafter referred to as TPM). I'm Jewish, pro-White...and not afraid to say it.

Unlike most of the other politically naive TPM members, I understand why and how the artificial term "racist" was invented. To find out more, you need to study the history of the Frankfurt School of Marxist thought, going back to the 1930s when the term first arose.

It was created by Communists to use in some future time (doubtful it would have worked in the 1930s) to silence any dissent from the Right.

I guess it worked?

Porter,

They aren't completely in bed with the Democrats yet. Right now they are still bouncing between "we are objective journalists" and countering the lies and propaganda of Fox with their lies and propaganda. That why smart people get their news from as many sources as possible.

"Yeah, Keith Olbermann is a liberal knee jerker. I don't think he's ever debated anyone one. He's scared to get cut down to size by a real opponent. Keith get's his sources from a bias left wing media.

Goddamn right he's nobody. That's why he got fired from MSNBC. Not even the liberals want to listen to him anymore.

The $outhern Poverty Lie Center and the ADL label anyone who doesn't agree with them "racist" when they have no way of knowing how they actually feel about anyone—they are really just trying to discredit people they disagree with without even debating them, aren’t they?

They can go excrement in a urinal. Go rot.

Guess who I would vote "worst person in the world" IF I had the chance?"

I was going to post this on Winston Smith's blog but he doesn't have Name/URL or Anonymous. So I just Googled SBPDL and Keith Olbermann and voila. I been wanted to take a shoot at him for a while.

PRESIDENT OBAMA AND THE BLACK PEOPLE OF AMERICA INVENTED THE TEA-PARTY
-----------------------------------

President Obama and the rest of his kool-aid drinking zombies of which I am proud to be one, invented the Tea-Party in 2008. Before he became President there was no Tea Party-there was no Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Perry was still admiral of the Rio Grande.(LOL) Sugar coated arguments, are offered as being the existance of the Tea Party. However this, is argumentive. Why now? Why not prior to 2008. Corporate greed is a catch all phrase for theres a black man in the white house! The Tea Party might be believable if just thi argument was offered, but they attack the man's American citizenship (birthers) his entrance to Harvard, and his grades once he got there. His association with his Pastor Jerimiah Wright (which he stopped going to) Ron Ayers, and others. Most recently, flimsy criticism has been levied about his wife going to Hawaii for $100,000.00.
I could go into why, but I won't bother. And then nothing is ever said about his withrawal from Itaq, and Afghanistan. How under his watch Osama Bin Laden, has been killed. How Saddan Hussan has been killed. How this President has protected this country from internal terroist threat. If something is said it is twisted to say "near miss from terroist threat" What the black man has to thank the Tea Party for is pointing out to us that we are much stronger than having to use the race card. In fact the Tea Party invented the term "race card" Prior to 2008 you never heard the term. Now the term is used to much. It is laughable, it is used so much. I can't remeber the last time a black person used it. Me myself never used it. Al Sharpton dosen't even use it. The race card statement used by republicans, and the tea-party is overused and overplayed. In most cases it is used to stifle an argument. A lot of times it seems as if the Tea-Party Wants you to use it. I won't. Thank You but no thank you quote Sarah Palin in bridege to nowhere.
