The Calm Before the Storm: What the CBC's Failed March on the White House and Thomas Friedman's New Book Have in Common

Read Fareed Zakaria Mistake first, then proceed.

Until Black-Run America took over every aspect of American life
When you consider that virtually every level of American life (affirmative action in academia, hiring preferences in corporate and government employment, military standards abandoned in hopes of greater Back participation, tax dollars going disproportionately to support a Black underclass, trillions of dollars spent trying to close the racial gap in learning that nature never intends to help close, a legal system that believes "racial justice" is more important than protecting the victims of Black crime, and a media that refuses to report unflattering stories and statistics of the Black community) is dedicated to advancing Black people, you realize what a monumental failure Black-Run America -BRA- has been.

Thomas Friedman has a new book out called That Used To be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World it Invented and How We Can Come Back, and we at SBPDL can only laugh at the title. How do you get America back out in front? Simple: BRA ends and America, the real America, comes roaring back. For the past 50-60 years, the number one goal of the United States of America has been to uplift Black people, dedicating virtually every resource (and abandoning space exploration) in a failed attempt to help out the Black community.

Disingenuous White Liberals (DWLs) hedged the future of the United States of America by deciding to integrate America's hopes and dreams with those of Black people. For more than five decades, DWLs have painted anyone who deviates from the agenda of BRA as an evil bigot, a racist, and un-American.

Forever Fund-Raising, Ineffective Conservatives (FRIC) in the Beltway, ensconced permanently within the Republican Party have steered all policy, research and energy away from discussing the issues and from promoting statesmen who could have actually conserved America. These people and organizations survive by sending out direct mail fundraisers, touting inane victories while the country moves closer and closer to the tipping point.

We have already pointed out that the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) wants Black people to "be unleashed." Despite corporations bending over backwards to create positions within their corporate structure where Black people can be employed (and limited potential damage to the stockholder can occur), Black unemployment is reaching shocking levels. No longer can the federal, state, and local government be the artificial creator of the Black middle class, as tightening budgets and mandatory cuts are forcing Black people from the payrolls of public positions.

The CBC is doing everything possible to paint white people as the enemy, claiming white people are desirous of a return to Jim Crow and, perhaps, the enslavement of Black people. Considering that America has been enslaved by the agenda of BRA for nearly 60 years, perhaps some elderly white people - who remember an America where people weren't afraid to walk down the street in Milwaukee, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Cleveland, Chicago, etc. -  might desire a return to Jim Crow.

Perhaps a growing number of young white people - those with college degrees that are basically a piece of paper denoting the hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt they have accumulated - are beginning to reject a nation dedicated to the advancement of Black people (and increasingly all non-whites) at the expense of their future happiness and prospects. Worse, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, and Millennial white people are all expected to continue paying for their dispossession through taxation to pay for TANF/Welfare, Section 8 Housing, EBT Cards, etc., that go disproportionately to Black people.

Barack Obama has done more to raise awareness of the concept of Black-Run America than all other efforts by white people combined, who have spent countless hours toiling away and dedicated their entire lives to warn their fellow countrymen of the problems of placing the advancement of Black people above the promotion of America itself. In less than three years in office, Mein Obama, Eric "My People" Holder and others have completely changed the game by putting a Blackface on the leadership of BRA.

"That used to be us," Thomas Friedman states. Well, until we decided promoting and advancing "The Blacks" - in every level of American society - through affirmative action, the lowering of standards, and by tolerating the substandard culture of Black people should become our new governing philosophy.

Now, CBC Chairman Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver has let slip the reality of Black worship of Mein Obama, with this startling admission of racial loyalty to Barack Obama:
Unhappy members of the Congressional Black Caucus “probably would be marching on the White House” if Obama were not president, according to CBC Chairman Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.).

"If [former President] Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House," Cleaver told “The Miami Herald” in comments published Sunday. "There is a less-volatile reaction in the CBC because nobody wants to do anything that would empower the people who hate the president."

CBC members have expressed concern in recent months as the unemployment rate has continued to rise amongst African-Americans, pushing for Obama to do more to address the needs of vulnerable communities.

"We’re supportive of the president, but we getting tired, y’all,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said in August. “We want to give [Obama] every opportunity, but our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is."

Never forget that every level of American society is dominated by those whose chief mission in life is the advancement of Black people, or by those who refuse to publicly state anything negative about "The Blacks," their silence a powerful admission of acquiescence to the totalitarian ideology of BRA.

The CBC has the pulse of the Black community; they are elected because they promise their constituents more and more, and must constantly embrace their Blackness, wearing it on their sleeve 24/7. The Black community and the loyalty they show to Mein Obama is a powerful reminder that no matter what white people do for Black people; no matter the concessions they make; no matter the handcuffs they slap on their own sons and daughters through affirmative action programs, diversity initiatives, and the lowering of standards that impact every level of life in America; no matter what, there will always be an "and then?"

That is the never-ending question. Now members of the CBC, who have spent an entire summer trying to paint white people as the enemy and galvanize Black people into action, have stated they would march on the White House were it not for Mein Obama occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fitting that Thomas Friedman would write That Used To be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World it Invented and How We Can Come Back, and promote it at a time when it is obvious that the implementation and continued promotion of BRA - across every sector of American life - has been the chains that have kept America down.

Mr. Friedman, no one will say it to you during your promotional tour for That Used To be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World it Invented and How We Can Come Back, so we at SBPDL will.

That Used to Be Us, until we decide to promote Black people through aggressive affirmative action policies in the corporate and academic world, leaving white applicants scrambling for plan B. With corporate America wedded to the concept of diversity and promotion of race above merit - and innovation and profit - it should be glaring obvious why America is falling behind.

That Used to Be Us, until we decide to tolerate high levels of Black crime and Black illegitimacy because college football and basketball teams came to rely on the sons of these communities - ones white people would never live nor raise their children near - to field winning teams, as white fans were conditioned to believe in Black athletic supremacy.

That Used to Be Us, until Americans became petrified of the consequences of speaking out against negative aspects of Black culture, which are now pervasive in all of Black culture. Any Black who deviates from the accepted norms of Black culture is shunned as an "Uncle Tom" or "Acting White."

That Used to Be Us, until we wasted trillions (perhaps quadrillions) trying to raise Black test scores and Black graduation rates. That money should have been spent educating the best and brightest, but instead the Return of Investment has been, well, abysmal.

That Used to Be Us, until high levels of Black crime in major cities forced white families to flee to new suburbs, where fathers would then spend wasted hours of productivity commuting to and from work.

That Used to Be Us, until "Black power" became an ally of Disingenuous White Liberals bid for complete control of the culture of America, and any voice of opposition was silenced with one word:
"racist."

Mr. Friedman, handcuffing America's future by embracing the Utopian hopes that intelligence is largely a product of nurture instead of nature has failed. Black-Run America (BRA), a governing philosophy that has kept the media silent on Black crime and the collapse of Black-run cities (Atlanta, Detroit, Newark, Birmingham, Memphis, Philadelphia), must end for the thought of "That Used to Be Us" to forever be extinguished from our lexicon.

So the CBC claims Black people would be marching on the White House, except that there's a brother in there now? A half-white dude, actually, who has spent his entire life trying to embrace his Blackness.

Now do you know why That Used To Be Us, Mr. Friedman? We put a man on the moon using (thanks to Steve Sailer for this) slide rules. After mortgaging the future of the country to the concept of BRA, we are held hostage by a permanent underclass in America that affirmative action, diversity initiatives, handouts, and preferential treatment couldn't advance. Now, Black leaders threaten violence in a bid for more concessions.

But you know what? For "That To Be Us" again, we have to believe in us again. It's time to say, "Get up, you son of a bitch," instead of living in a constant state of doom and gloom. If there is one truth in life, it's that its never easy. It's time we move into the next phase of the SBPDL project.  More on that later this week.

It's past time we decided for "That To Be Us" again.

The reader survey of SBPDL - more than 500 people responded!! - confirmed something I knew: the median age of the reader is in the 30s. Young people read this site (as do those in their 50s and 60s, but this site is attracting a younger demographic).  So, its time for SBPDL to move forward and repudiate the negativity for something, greater.

To posters and those leaving comments, we ask that you refrain from using racial epithets. It's time for aggressive growth, and the next phase of the SBPDL project will require vigilance.

Absolutely magnificent. This is the most powerful statement of our current condition I've read in I don't know how long. I'll be reading this again and passing it on to friends and family. Kudos to you! You deserve a much wider audience.

Thank you Paul. Good decision.

The racial slurs make it too easy to call SBPDL a "hate site", which is simply not true.

This is an information site...an uncommonly honest, information site.

With more than 500 responses to his survey, his audience is much wider than anyone suspected.

Well done! i'm one of your 500 who's bought a book and i concur-- don't let the charge of racism obscure the issues. in a related note, i've been amazed and proud how disciplined the tea party has been. we have the superior argument-- there's no reason to surrender it in favor of weaker tools like invective. plenty of places to go vent-- let's keep this site on higher ground.

btw there are some bitter Xers like me (40s) who are with you... we got trumped by the boomers and are only now ready and able to start throwing them off the tracks and out of your way. ultimately tho, it will be your generation that restores us.

Lopez, of Coon Rapids, and two married couples he knows were attacked by a gang of 10 men ages 16 to early 20s, shortly after the group of friends left the Aqua nightclub in the city's Warehouse District early Sept. 2. The brazen assault took place not more than 30 feet from the 1st Police Precinct station on Fourth Street between Hennepin Avenue and First Avenue North. Now, if I were going to get assaulted, I would think that being next to a police station would be the best place to be. Help is next door, right? I like the cut of your jib there, anonymous. And it's true. The Xers grew up in a state both of total innocence and total brainwashing; but those among us "who can see" paved the way for the next generation -- you could say acted somewhat as a buffer from the "boomer" generation.

In certain ways this new generation is totally immune to the "racism" accusation. (Ie, turning the comment "that's racist!" into a joke.) But in another sense they, too, are stunningly brainwashed, as well as existing in a state of permanent, electronically induced distraction. The challenge for this generation will literally be to first focus their thoughts.

Excellent post, Paul. It's fine to be dispassionate and intellectual, a la Sailer, but the predations of BRA demand a passionately angry response. My husband and I were channel surfing the other night and watched some of "The Right Stuff." Kitschy it may be, in some ways, but it also shows an ascendant White America with White men who didn't apologize for being White or male. I don't watch football, but I got called by an opinion survey and gave my opinions on college football, and every answer I gave was geared toward promoting localism and taxpayer control over college athletics (keeping out the professional scouts and dollars that promote black athletes). I just changed my dentist (and told the new one why I left the old) to avoid black hygienists. I try my damnedest to avoid supporting companies that push 365 black, like McDonalds, and I try to say something to someone, day in and day out, that at least makes them think about regime change - and often shocks them with its smashing of the pc speech codes I refuse to abide by (not talking about "racial slurs," just plain speech and race/HBD realism). There are steps - small but important ones - that people can take every day to work towards BRA's demise. Take George HW Bush's mocked "thousand points of light" and turn it into a thousand punctures in the fantasy of black utopia. It does have an effect, and it sure feels better than fuming in private or merely ranting online. Just assume you're on Holder's extermination/re-education list, and then stop worrying about consequences.

FWIW, I'm glad I'm among your older readers - too many of the younger people have never lived in a 90% White America, and cannot conceive of life without all the blacks, Hispanics, and Asians "enriching" American life. Every time I see someone in a sari or hijab or Muslim skullcap and pajamas, I am motivated anew to say and do anything I can to make some sort of difference and not go passively into defeat.

That Used to Be Us, until "Black power" became an ally of Disingenuous White Liberals bid for complete control of the culture of America, and any voice of opposition was silenced with one word:

If Black America, Liberals and, now, Muslims, have managed to do one thing, it is to denude the word "racist" of all meaning and opprobrium. Islam has done this especially well considering what a latecomer it is to the "we hate America" crowd. All the more so when you consider that Islam isn't even a race.

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Maxine Waters, Louis Farrakhan and John "Reparations" Conyers have all made mighty advances ― while Liberals provide them with a fireman carry ― towards making sure that accusations of racism will carry about as much weight as being accused of having dandruff.

Lost in background noise is the notion that everyone has a Constitutional right to be racist. Perish that anyone, from either side of the aisle and beyond, should ever recognize that simple legal fact. Whether an individual is allowed to exercise those beliefs in the operation of a public business is another matter entirely.

Worst of all is how these race baiting wannabe war lord pimps have, through their constant extortion and screeching, managed to create far more racists than the KKK could ever dream of in their best fighting trim. This scurvy pack of hucksters continue to further blacken the eye of Black America even as Blacks miraculously manage to inflict even greater wounds upon themselves.

[to be continued]

Zenster said...

Much of the howling about racists involves an attempt to make racism a thought crime. We are seeing the exact same thing with Muslims and "Islamophobia"; as if a healthy fear of Islam could ever be irrational. It is an effort to make people self-censor themselves. We see it in how White people cannot use the term "nigger" without starting a riot even while Blacks carelessly bandy it about.

You also see this in the way that the MSM adamantly refuses to reveal the actual race of flash mobbers and, also, in how police rarely mention a suspect's race ― especially if that person is Black ― during onscreen interviews. The same is being done all through Liberal Europe ― in Britain the code word for Muslims is "Asians" ― in that many countries make it impossible to obtain ethnic breakdowns of crime statistics. This allows them to conceal how Muslims are almost singlehandedly responsible for skyrocketing rape statistics, especially in Sweden and Norway.

Islam takes this a step further. Consider how the Yale University Press decided to publish a book about the Danish Mohammad cartoons dramatically titled, "The Cartoons That Shook the World" without actually reproducing the cartoons themselves.

This is thought crime made real and every attempt to infiltrate this abomination into American culture should be met with unadulterated derision and scorn.

I would also like to concur with Paul Kersey and other readers that reducing racial invective will help bring this important site into the mainstream where it belongs. America needs to wake up about the millstone that its Black population has become. Just as importantly, decent Black Americans must rise up to castigate and condemn the behavior of so many Blacks in America today. Their near total failure to do so will only see an increase in racism.

I disagree about racial epithets. The blacks deserve more contempt than we can express. Now is not the time for being 'moderate', it does not bring a wider audience.
What ever we call them will become a term of shame and derision, not because of our malice but because of their wickedness.

In Europe it wasn't the Muslims who had hate speech laws enacted. This country could spend 100 trillion dollars and the intelligence gap would never be closed.

Alright then, Mr. Blog Writer, I'll abide by your request not to use language that might seem racist. Classy folks (non-blacks) have the ability to express themselves without resorting to brutally honest observations.

I hope race laws become a states rights issue after the EBT money runs out.

"....until we decide to promote black people through aggresive affirmative action policies in the corporate & academic world, leaving white applicants scrambling for plan B."

You know, though, we will undoubtedly do very well, if we have to, with "Plan B". We are, & have always been, a resourceful & clever people. Just think of the lands that White people first came from: cold (sometimes VERY cold), windy, overly wet, bad soil, food difficult to grow or find. In other words, inhospitable. But in these places our forebears honed skills, & developed technology, that enabled them to survive & thrive anyway. We will not be annihilated!

The next several years will be extremely rough. How I wish I didn't have to write those words, but there it is. Perhaps the certain difficulties of the future will be what it takes to galvanize those of European descent, to learn to appreciate what they came from & what they've contributed to the world....and to stop apologizing for simply being White.

It will take a depression and collapse of the economy to fix our once-great nation.

I pose a question; would it be that bad in the long run?

This is not hyperbole, but bold truth; when the money runs out, the agendas crumble. Bad policies die out. Those incapable of sustaining life, food, and shelter are erased from existence.

Take for instance Haiti. Skewed perspectives see it as humanitarian to send aid and supplies to the country. "They are starving, let's feed them." It sounds kind in the short term, but what happens when those starving children grow up?

Those starving children grow up and then they have children. The cap on resources in the country is lifted due to outside donations. The population increases and now you have MORE starving children.

Sounds a lot like the U.S., doesn't it? However here, people can cry "racism" at the drop of the hat and get their supplies (government assistance, jobs, education). Or worse, they don't have to cry racism because some other white-guilt DWL will do it for them.

So I say let the parasites and non-contributors of the U.S. rot and die. It fertilizes the land let's us start over.

It's either a depression or disease. Unfortunately, disease gets everyone.

Again I find myself nodding in agreement whilst reading your response to Friedman. I am awed at the levels that BRA has sunk too and am very much worried about the "What Next" phase of American history. I shall heed your requests and will be ready to help your more public exposure. BRA must be stopped, this must be beaten back, there must be a reckoning and we must all be ready.

This is a Great Point, Zenster. May I also point out that refraining from using carefully cherrypicked descriptions of those with a higher melanin count hope to achieve. Every negroid blog on the planet is filled with "White Bread" and "Cracker", "Pasty" this and "White Hoe" that, yet we are supposed to be decorous, debonair, even passive. It is the desire for Whites to fear using these words to shut down our speech, our thoughts, even while our brethren are beaten in the streets, shot, raped, knocked unconscious, denied jobs in the Government and Private Industry.

To a negroid, fear is respect. As we drag away another victim or bury another little girl, as we lose our jobs from the deadly word "racism" we must not use heated epitaphs!!

So in keeping with the "Institutional new tone" of SBPDL I have provided a list of alphabetically sorted words that I want approval for, so that we can be PC on SBPDL and not offend those with a high melanin count.

Ape, Bix Nood, Brillo Head, Coon, Darkie, Eggplant, FUBU (Farmers Used to Buy Us), Guttermonkey, Haunt, Inky, Jigaboo, Jungle Bunny, Jenkem Huffer, Knuckle-Dragger, Lawn Jockey, Mud Turtle, Nignog, Orangutan, Porch Monkey, Quashee, Rope-Straightener, Shitskin, Spear Chucker, Shadow, Spook, Three-Fifth, Ubangi, Voodoo, Welfare Monkey, Xerox,
Yellow-Eyed, Yrch (LOTR!), Zip Coon.

Of course this list leaves off the Classics, like Toby, Grease Stain, etc.

Just let us know which on this list are acceptable instead of the terrible "Word that must not be named by Whites".

Please do yourself a big favor and read the interview of Kenyan economist, James Shikwati, titled: "For God's Sake, Please Stop the Aid!". An excerpt:

Huge bureaucracies are financed (with the aid money), corruption and complacency are promoted, Africans are taught to be beggars and not to be independent. In addition, development aid weakens the local markets everywhere and dampens the spirit of entrepreneurship that we so desperately need. As absurd as it may sound: Development aid is one of the reasons for Africa's problems. If the West were to cancel these payments, normal Africans wouldn't even notice. Only the functionaries would be hard hit. Which is why they maintain that the world would stop turning without this development aid.

This man truly deserves a Nobel Prize for economics but will likely never get one.

I urge everyone at SBPDL to, please, read the article so that you know there are Blacks who truly understand how White largesse ― otherwise and usually known as "guilt edged giving" ― is simply killing them. It is just more of Liberalism's "soft" racism of lowered expectations as in, the Noble Savage™.

If any further evidence is needed, please consider how Haiti occupies the number 146 slot out of 178 different ranked "most corrupt" countries at the Transparency International website.

Far more telling is when you overlay the "Earth at Night" satellite image with the Transparency International Map of Global Corruption.

Notice how ― barring uninhabited expanses like Australia's "outback" ― that Muslim and sub-Saharan nations are not only the most corrupt but also the least illuminated?

If you really want to get the big picture, witness this satellite shot of the Korean Peninsula. Kim Jong Il, the "Dear Leader" who has helped drive his entire nation towards mass starvation to the point of cannibalism―even as he holds the world's largest private reserve of $200.00 per bottle French Hennessy Cognac.

Corruption drives a huge percentage of this world's genocides and wars, no small number of which originate in Muslim or sub-Saharan African regions. Quelle surprise!

Love this comment from Salon.com:

"Once again, modern day natural selection playing out in our midst

This is another example to prove liberals are full of shit and have nothing but contempt for this country, and European civilization as a whole. You're the ones who forced integration on the American people. Dead scumbags like Ted Kennedy who paved the way in the 60's for mass immigration from non-European countries. It was bad enough that we had to deal with the sins of the fathers vis-a-vis slavery, with dire consequences for future generations of white Americans and the country as a whole. Because of phone cameras & the internet (thanks to Matt Drudge), evidence of this is readily available, seemingly on a daily basis now.

But you put the nail in the coffin of America with 'forward thinking' turkeys like Lyndon Johnson. You know who you are you old worn out 60's liberals...you've wrought decay and misery upon this country with your anti-evolutionary social conditioning. Instead of following the example of non-looting, harmonious, homogenous Japan, you thought you knew what was best, didn’t' you? Now look at you. Look at the 'president'. Look at the country. It all makes sense though really. Your lack of children and/or natural procreation is the reason you don't care about the future. Your short term thinking that 'fairness' is the be-all, end-all betrays a once great civilization that was America.

We don't worry too much though. The noble procreators will survive. We and many like us are subtly teaching our children of their noble lineage, and will one day pol-pot the rest of you dead or packing when the revolution comes again."

Sorry Kersey,

if you insist we stop using 'racial slurs' then what follows is more and more curtailments of how we can describe the goings-on around the world of groups that we are not usually allowed to speak of in disdain. One of those types of people I refer to rhymes with booze.

When I am angry I will use the words that you refer to as 'racial slurs' when I am out in public. A lot of your black-spawned atrocities are constantly bombarding Canada now. WalMart and Popeyes are in my town now. Target will soon be here as well. Who knows what else is coming?

All of these types of 'biznesses' attract the lower amongst us - the shitskins and ragheads.

CJH, my tone may have been slightly off, but my actual intent was to confirm your own observations. Haiti is a Third World hellhole and continues to be one because, for Haitians, corruption is a form of cultural identity. Foreign aid to that country (and most others), only cements the corrupt elite superstructure in place; which is what Shikwati notes as well.

His interview can be read in just a few minutes and is well worth it as Shikwati points out how foreign aid destroys competitiveness and innovation in those countries that come to depend upon it.

Also, Steyn's America Alone is highly recommended by everybody I know who has read the book.

CJH: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

My preferred variation on that famous bromide goes as follows:

Give a man a fish and you eats for a day; teach a man to fish and he drinks for a lifetime.

Obviously, that was supposed to be:

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day; teach a man to fish and he drinks for a lifetime.

Give a man a fish, and he'll ask for a lemon.  Teach a man to fish, and he'll leave work early on Fridays.

Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day.  Give a fish a man and he'll eat for weeks.

OT: stuff that White people do that you'll never catch Black people doing.

Blacks mostly don't like White churches, which represent temples of White Privilege. Therefore, blacks demand that Whites integrate our churches FIRST, before reconciliation and non violence can start.

What is the "NEW AGREEMENT"? Did White Humanity agree to something new without knowing it?

SACRIFICES MUST BE MADE BY WHITES!

Why? Why would White Humanity want to sacrifice anything for the sake of Africans who will come in and destroy the church, get drunk on the communion wine, and steal the endowment money, then sell the church to their brother Muslims and pocket the cash?

This is what you get when you allow an afrovoodoo-n-gress to put a "Dr." in front of her name:

"It seems rather clear that white churches will stay white and black churches will stay black until there is a recommitment to the task of adhering to God's will for reconciliation. It will call for some sacrifices and they generally need to be made by whites who benefit the most from the privilege of the system and who need to express their willingness to take the first steps to show that they understand the new agreement and its call to reconciliation."

Great article though.

"CBC members have expressed concern in recent months as the unemployment rate has continued to rise amongst African-Americans, pushing for Obama to do more to address the needs of vulnerable communities."

The CBC speaks for most blacks in America. Mark Russell, (contact him at yourvoiceforindystar@gmail.com ) from the Urban League, believes that we are far from a post-racial society and whites are to blame. Here is his op-ed piece in our local paper. He calls for more pandering to blacks and begging for the black vote:

http://www.indystar.com/article/20110918/OPINION03/109180344/We-still-divided

"If you want my vote, ask for it, fight for it, don't presume it is yours, and show me why you are worthy of support. What have you done or what will you do to make life better for Indianapolis residents who look like me and share many of these concerns?"

and

"What one group views as normal criticism and scrutiny of a sitting president, the other views as attacks fueled by hatred, bitterness and bigotry."

I'm old enough to remember when PC meant "printed circuit", and CBC was the "Canadian Broadcasting Corporation".

- sigh -

A man of few words, if ever there was one.

Zenster: Decades ago, I read a scholarly article on the relationship between the public disdain for a given group and the number of pejoratives describing that group. Of course, Negroes far outscored every other group in the number of titles they could claim. The article included a very long list of alternative nouns for colored people. I have since wondered if Blacks are to the Whites who must endure them daily what snow is to Eskimos: An overwhelming presence that defies casual description, and therefore requires an extensive vocabulary to express oneself accurately. If one half of MrGJG's vocabulary is given over to unflattering synonyms for Africans, the other half might still be extensive enough to compose a Master's thesis.

Thank you for a good laugh and an informative, if relatively unsurprising, comment as well.

For the record, in English the term with the most synonyms alludes to drunkenness.
