1. Rae Carruth: NFL Wide Receiver
Convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child, he has been sentenced to between 18 and 24 years in prison. This crime involved the murder of eight months pregnant Cherica Adams who he was dating at the time. She was shot four times by Van Brett Watkins, a night club manager and friend of Carruth.
3. Orenthal James “OJ” Simpson: AFL Running Back
1989 no contest plea to a domestic violence charge filed by Nicole Brown. 1994 pursuit and apprehension for the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. Unanimously found liable by a 1997 civil jury for the wrongful death of and battery against Goldman and Brown. The State of California claims Simpson owes $1.44 million in past due taxes. 2001 arrest for simple battery and burglary of an occupied conveyance after allegedly yanking the glasses off another motorist during a traffic dispute. A 2001 drug raid on his home uncovered equipment capable of stealing satellite television programming. 2002 arrest in Florida for speeding through a Manatee Zone and failing to comply with proper boating regulations. In 2007, a group of men led by Simpson entered a room at the Las Vegas Palace Station hotel-casino and took sports memorabilia at gunpoint. Sentenced for that robbery to a total of 33 years on multiple felony counts, including criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, assault, robbery, and using a deadly weapon.
4. Lawrence Taylor: NFL Linebacker
Admitted to cocaine use as early as his second year in the NFL. Suspended several times by the league for failing drug tests. Arrested in 1996 for leaving the scene of a one car accident. Jailed three times for attempted drug possession after attempting to buy cocaine from undercover officers. Beat NFL drug tests by routinely submitting the urine of his teammates. Pled guilty to filing a false tax return in 1990, and convicted in 2000 for tax evasion. Arrested in 2009 for leaving the scene of an accident after striking another vehicle. Pled guilty in 2011 to sexual misconduct involving the payment of $300 for sex with a 16-year old girl requiring him to register as a low-risk level one sex offender.
5. Mike Tyson: Heavyweight Boxing Champion
Repeatedly caught committing petty crimes and fighting with a record totaling 38 arrests by age 13. Convicted in 1992 after his 1991 arrest for the rape of 18-year-old Desiree Washington. 1997 saw him lunching on Evander Holyfield’s ears in one of boxing’s most disgraceful moments. Then sentenced in 1998 to a year's imprisonment for assaulting two motorists after a traffic accident. Tested positive for marijuana in a 2000 post-fight urine test. 2006 arrest on suspicion of DUI and felony drug possession after nearly colliding with a police SUV shortly after leaving a nightclub resulting in a felony conviction on drug possession and paraphernalia possession counts plus two counts of driving under the influence of drugs. 2009 arrest after scuffling with a photographer at LAX. Persistent allegations of spousal abuse.
6. Adam “Pacman” Jones: NFL Cornerback
2005 arrest on charges of assault and felony vandalism stemming from a nightclub altercation. Subsequent parole violation with 90 day extension of parole. 2006 arrest involving marijuana possession were dismissed, but the state pressed charges for felony and misdemeanor counts of obstruction of justice. 2006 arrest for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. 2006 citation for misdemeanor assault after allegedly spitting in the face of a female student. 2007 charges of felony coercion and misdemeanor battery plus misdemeanor count of threat to life related to a strip club robbery and shooting leaving one victim in a paraplegic state. A later document revealed that he paid $15,000 to various people involved in the Las Vegas strip club shooting. His one-year suspension was the first time in 44 years that a player had been suspended for an offense other than substance abuse. 2007, Jones traffic stop after being clocked on radar doing 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. 2007 police questioning after a shooting at an Atlanta strip club allegedly involving his entourage. 2008 accusation of hitting a woman in a strip club. 2008 involvment in an altercation with his bodyguard in a Dallas hotel.
7. Robert Rozier: NFL Defensive End
Released after playing only six games for issues allegedly involving drugs. Then became involved with a Black Supremacist cult called "The Brotherhood" in 1982. Rozier admits to killing seven White people to please cult leader Yahweh ben Yaweh. His 1999 arrest over passing a bad check for $66 revealed a trail of 29 bounced checks totaling more than $2,000 which resulted in a third-strike felony conviction.
8. Fast Eddie Johnson: NBA Guard
Expulsion from the NBA for drug-related offenses. Arrested and convicted multiple times for various offenses since expulsion. R ap sheet numbered about 100 including 2006 arrest for burglary and sexual battery and molestation of an 8-year-old girl, while already awaiting trial on charges of raping another woman. 2008 conviction for sexual battery of a minor under 12 and lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12.
9. Don King: Boxing Promoter
In 1967 he was sent to prison for life for murder after killing an employee who owed him $600. Also sued by Muhammad Ali for underpaying him $1.1 million for a fight with Larry Holmes and was given a suitcase containing $50,000 in cash. Other allegations consist of numerous defrauding of boxers amounting to millions of dollars.
10. Jayson Williams: NBA Forward-Center
1992 accusations of breaking a beer mug over a patron's head at a bar. 1994 accusations of firing a semiautomatic weapon into the parking lot. 2004 conviction on four counts of trying to cover up the shooting death of 55-year-old limousine driver Costas "Gus" Christofi. Williams claimed that he was playing with a shotgun when it accidentally discharged. Retried in 2006 and pled guilty to aggravated assault on a reckless manslaughter charge. In 2009 he was Tasered by the NYPD at a hotel after reports that he had become suicidal and violent. Also charged with simple assault later in 2009.
13. Darryl Henley: NFL Cornerback
Currently serving a 41 year sentence for trafficking a 25 pound load of cocaine and then attempting to murder his trial judge and a witness by hiring contract killers.

2002, Gooden was arrest for DUI and driving on a suspended license. Arrested again in 2003 for driving on a suspended license. In 2005, he drove away from a traffic after being pulled over for driving erratically. After twice refusing to leave his car, he then drove away. The officer remarked that his eyes were glassy and bloodshot, his speech was slurred, and a "strong" odor of alcohol was present on him. 2006 arrest for violating his probation, after he appeared intoxicated with cocaine at a scheduled meeting with his probation officer. 2010 arrest after leaving the scene of a traffic accident. Was located nearby and found to be under the influence of an undisclosed controlled substance. Charged with DWI with a child passenger, leaving the scene of an accident, and other motor vehicle violations. Also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, in how a child was with him at the time of the accident.
17. Tommy Kane: NFL Wide Reveiver
Serving an 18-year prison term after conviction for manslaughter in the 2003 stabbing death of wife Tamara Shaikh. Allegations of drug use are just a recent part of rumors about his much earlier involvement in car theft, physical assaults, knife fights and petty theft.
18. Ugueth Urbina: MLB Relief Pitcher
2005 arrest by Venezuelan authorities on a charges of attempted murder. Aattacked five farm workers on his property whom he had accused of stealing a gun. After attacking the workers with a machete he then tried to pour gasoline on them. Convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to over fourteen years.
19. Travis Henry: NFL Running Back
2008 arrest by the DEA for being involvement in a multi-kilogram cocaine transaction. Convicted of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute and sentenced to three years federal prison and $4 million in fines. Failed an N.F.L. drug test. Father of nine children by nine different mothers and jailed for failure to shell out part of $170,000 per year in child support payments.
21. Maurice Clarett: NFL Running Back
Early 2006 arrest for two aggravated robberies with a gun plus five other counts. Later in 2006, a high speed chase after making an illegal U-turn. Police were forced to secure a cloth around Clarett's mouth after he allegedly spit at them and called officers "niggers" during the arrest. Found in his vehicle were two Japanese swords, a loaded AK-47 variant plus two loaded handguns and an open bottle of vodka. Mace was required due to him wearing Kevlar body armor that defeated a Taser.
22. Tom Payne: NBA Center
1972 arrest related to an investigation of several Atlanta area rapes. Convicted on two counts of rape and one count of aggravated sodomy. Half of five year sentence spent in solitary confinement for participating in a prison riot. After release, extradited to Kentucky and convicted on one count of rape and two counts of attempted rape. Apprehended in 1986 by LAPD in the act of raping a woman.
23. Johnny Jolly, Jr.: NFL Defensive Lineman
A 2008 arrest for second-degree felony possession of over200 grams of codeine, 2011, Jolly was arrest charging him with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute involving 600 grams of codeine in his vehicle, including driving a car with a suspended license. Also arrested later in 2011 for possession of codeine and tampering with evidence by trying to hide the drug.
25. Darryl Eugene "D. J." Strawberry, Jr.: AML Outfielder
Charged in 1995 with failure to pay child support. A 1999 arrest for soliciting sex from a policewoman decoy prostitute and possession of cocaine. 2000 violation of parole also in 2001 and 2002.
28. Marion Jones: Olympic Track and Field
Forfeited all five medals and prizes dating back to 2000 after her 2007 admission that she took performance-enhancing drugs as far back as the 2000 Summer Olympics, and that she lied about it to a grand jury investigating steroids provider BALCO. Found guilty of lying to federal agents about her knowing involvement with Timothy Montgomery, an accessory to cashing over $1 million in counterfeit checks.
29. Barry Bonds: MLB Outfielder
Indicted and convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice for lying to the grand jury about steroid use during the government's investigation of BALCO. First divorce included allegations of spousal abuse.
30. Richard Seigler: NFL Linebacker
Suspected in 2007 of juvenile pandering, also faced three felony counts, including pandering and pimping involved with living off the earnings of a prostitute, charged with providing transportation for a prostitute in connection with a Las Vegas prostitution ring.
31. Michael Irvin: NFL Wide Receiver
1996 arrest on charges of cocaine possession, August 2000 arrest on drug possession, 2003 arrest for drug possession, pulled over for speeding in 2005 and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, accused of involvement in a 2007 rape case.
32. Hollywood Henderson: NFL Linebacker
Ingested liquid cocaine on sidelines during games, 1983 arrest for smoking cocaine with two teenage girls 15 and 17, also accused of threatening them with a gun, beating them plus a sexual assault involving forced oral copulation. He was subsequently charged with attempted bribery after offering them $10,000 to recant.
33. Dennis “'If you don't like it, kiss my ass” Rodman: NBA Forward
2008 arrest for felony domestic battery, in 1993 found asleep in his car with a loaded rifle, 1999 DUI arrest, also arrested in 2002 for interfering with police investigating a code violation at a restaurant he owned, police appeared over 70 times at his Newport Beach, CA home because of loud parties, 2003 arrest for domestic violence and a 2004 arrest for DUI.
34. Corie Blount: NBA Center
Founf guilty of two felony counts of marijuana possession after sheriff's deputies intercepted 11 pounds of marijuana sent to him at a relative's house along with another 18 pounds found in a raid on his home. The judge did not accept his contention that the almost thirty pounds were for his “personal use” and informed him that “Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much".
35. Sylvester "Sly" Williams: Forward Guard
Arrested on felony charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree kidnapping during an incident where he is alleged to have held a woman captive for about 24 hours, tying her up and threatening her with a knife. Also accused of having sex with a 42-year-old woman against her will after threatening her with a weapon.
37. Booker T Jones: Professional Wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion
Born Robert Booker Tio Huffman, felony conviction for multiple armed robberies involving “inside jobs” at Wendy’s outlets.
40. Nate Newton: NFL Offensive Lineman
2001 arrest for transporting 213 pounds of marijuana in his car. Rearrested five weeks later while on bail when caught ferrying another 175 pounds of marijuana in his car.
41. Charles L. “Sonny” Liston: Heavyweight Boxing Champion
Arrested at age sixteen for breaking and entering. Six arrests for muggings. Convicted on two counts of armed robbery and larceny. Assaulting a police officer. Questionable ties to Frank "Blinky" Palermo, a Mafia figure with a long police record and an interest in boxing. Suspected of throwing fights and later involvement in sales of narcotics. Died of a heroin overdose under suspicious circumstances.
42. Riddick Bowe: Two-time Heavyweight Champion
Accused of battering his sister. Three months later assault and battery of his wife. This was followed by a kidnapping of her and their children in another assault that involved brandishing a knife plus the use of handcuffs, duct tape and pepper spray. 2001 arrest in Long Island after a domestic dispute with his wife in which Bowe allegedly dragged his wife leaving her with cuts on her knees and elbows.
43. Charles "I am not a role model" Barkley: NBA Forward
Admits to having received money from an agent while in college. Compulsive gambler who lost around $10 million including #2.5 million in "in a six-hour period", while playing blackjack. DUI arrest in 2008 with a second DUI offense two months later. Also admits to smoking marijuana while playing in the NBA.
45. Allen Iverson: NBA Point Guard and Shooting Guard
Felony charge of maiming by mob after hitting a woman with a chair in a bowling alley fight. Speeding, possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon. Later arrested after throwing his wife out of their mansion, attempting to break into the apartment of a cousin where she retreated to, brandishing a semi-automatic pistol. Convicted of spousal abuse.
47. Jamal Lewis: NFL Running Back
Conspiring to distribute five kilograms of cocaine. Suspicious business dealings. Use of personal cell phone for a drug transaction. Also a 1997 shoplifting incident.
48. Isaiah Rider: NBA Basketball Guard
This Oaktown homie started with marijuana possession plus an illegally altered cell phone that billed someone else’s account, gambling, a second marijuana possession, 5th degree assault on a female sports bar manager, parking in the head coach’s space, felony possession of cocaine, battery and evading a police officer.
49. Michael Nunn: Middleweight Champion Boxer
“Second to Nunn” is now inmate #11772-030 at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary for drug possession, traffic violations, unlawful use of weapons, driving with a suspended license, assaulting a police officer and interfering with official acts plus his grand finale of conspiracy to distribute a kilogram of cocaine.
50. Michael Vick: NFL Quarterback
Let’s start with animal cruelty, dog fighting and financing a gambling operation using his bonus money. Plus a truck of his was being used by two men charged with distributing marijuana. Also sued in 2005 by Sonya Elliott who filed a civil lawsuit against Vick alleging she contracted genital herpes from him. Finally, steroid trafficker David Jacobs allegedly supplied steroids to Vick while playing for the Falcons.
