Meaning there's a cause, a great moral crusade, to undertake; Steve Sailer noted this in his "Lesson of Ferguson" post, where the distance white sins of the past must constantly be cited to reinforce the sin of present ubiquitous and unconquerable white bigotry, discrimination, and supremacism.
|Blacks recently marched in 73 percent black Birmingham against black on black crime (do they condone black on white crime?); at least they didn't wear burlap sacks as blacks did in Birmingham in 2008 to try and drive away black crime...|
Those black kids who call Michael Brown's former stomping ground "home," proclaiming for "white people to own up and face racism" are taught that every individual black failure in America is because of a shadowy white monolith keeping the black population down.
But remember this: it's not 1963 Birmingham anywhere in Black-Run America (BRA); but the conditions of 2014 Birmingham - a 73.4 percent black city - are found throughout the land.
Marches against black on black violence; vigils against black on black violence; symposiums and calls to action against black on black violence; initiatives launched by city (NOLA FOR LIFE...) and federal government to combat both black and black violence and growing black-in-origin dysfunction...
Oh, it's 2014 Birmingham everywhere black are found in numbers greater than 15 percent of the overall population... [Black-on-black crime: 'We have no one to blame but ourselves' says SCLC president, Al.com, 9-10-14]:
Activists from Birmingham's black community today denounced black-on-black violence, and called on "prayer warriors'' to rally for an end to murder and other crimes.
"It is shameful that we have more African American men in penal institutions of Alabama than we have in colleges and universities,'' said Bishop Calvin Woods, president of Birmingham's Southern Christian Leadership Conference. "Our fight against tyranny, injustice, hatred, violence and crime must be diluted by the evil spirits of some of our own people."
"We are outraged over the insane murders taking place in the City of Birmingham by African Americans to African Americans,'' Woods said. "We're doubly disturbed when we see the black race committing genocide upon itself. We have no one to blame but ourselves."
Birmingham had a bloody Labor Day weekend with six people killed in five days.
The killings continued after the weekend, with a total of 10 in eight days.
Violent crime often comes out of relationships, and relationships may be the best way to prevent it, Birmingham city and community leaders said Tuesday night at a summit aimed at combating violence. Held at the Rock church in Forestdale, Pastor Mike McClure Jr. hosted Birmingham's mayor and police chief, a council member and a prominent local attorney to discuss the spate of violent crime and answer"Who's going to do something?"
The 80-year-old Woods, echoing what he said in a similar announcement in May, said the SCLC is launching several initiatives to help curb the trend. The group is calling on Birmingham- area pastors and other concerned citizens to teach and train leaders, parents, and guardians in anger management classes, bullying and parenting. "In our churches, schools and other organizations, parenting skills should be taught,'' Woods said. "Ministers should preach and teach sermons such as 'The black man and what we can do to save the black family."
The group plans to hold mass meetings each month, if not more often, Woods said.
"Picketing and protest marches against black black-on-black murders must be accelerated,'' Woods said. "Blacks must stop turning on one another and turn with love to each other."
Asked if he was preaching to the choir and whether he believed SCLC message would actually get to the people who need to hear it, Woods said, "They hear. They know. But they've got to be obedient to what they hear and know."
Woods said he has not set a definitive time or place for a mass meeting or march.
New Orleans (wait...this story is about white liberals marching against violence).
In no American city is there an elected public official who puts the interests of his/her white constituents ahead of the concept of bowing before BRA; all know full well (if they've thought for a second about their whiteness in a positive light versus constantly apologizing for being born white) to align with whiteness is to find an ally in Bull Conner and 1963 Birmingham.
Fitting: those who align with BRA stand shoulder to shoulder with 2014 Birmingham, one of many cities across America constantly holding vigils/marches/symposiums/"days of outrage" against black on black violence...
Sometimes, they even wear burlap sacks...
