The Land that Time Forgot

A Pulitzer Prize winning writer resorts to the "Birmingham 1963" defense
It was in his famous 'Letter from a Birmingham Jail' that Martin Luther King Jr. stated, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly…"

Those words were penned nearly 50 years ago in the tumultuous year of 1963; the same year of the infamous church bombing in Birmingham that killed four black girls and emboldened an already carnivorous national press to launch a full-out assault on all things white and southern.

In many ways, the specter of 1963 Birmingham that still haunts the narrative of race relations in America; dominating the anti-white animus which is pervasive in every aspect of contemporary 21st century American life.

"If we go back to the old days, then it will be just like 1963 Birmingham all over again," is what Disingenuous White Liberals (DWL) whine and moan, knowing that time has completely forgotten the current status of Birmingham, Alabama

Birmingham to most people will always be stuck in a perpetual state of 1963, with a never-ending and revolving cast of white bigots ready to guilt any young white person who dares question even the slightest pretense of greatness, glory, and divinity of diversity or multiculturalism.

But Birmingham is the land that time forgot; or at least the current condition of majority-black (nearly 74 percent of the citizens of the Magic City are black) is forever to be the fault of... Birmingham in 1963. That year is inescapable when it comes to determining all that is wrong with the city; never, and I mean never, can the current dilapidated and apparent "bombed" out condition of many parts of the city be blamed on the current majority population occupying Birmingham.

Instead, read Christopher Paul Curtis' mass-market paperback fictional story 'The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963' - a story for children about a black family visiting Birmingham when their grandmother's church is blown up by evil white bigots - and be instantly transported to the nefarious events of... Birmingham 1963.

Never mind the ruin the 'Letter from a Birmingham Jail' helped to bring to, not just Birmingham, but the entire western world; that's beyond debate, for the mantra of Black-Run America (BRA) is simply "give me equality, or give me death."

And never mind the casualties in pursuit of equality -- even if they happen to be our major cities.

So what is life like in Birmingham in the waning months of 2012, just before we endure a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Birmingham 1963? [Gunfire common in west Birmingham neighborhood where 1 killed, 1 injured in shooting, residents said,Birmingham News, 11-30-12]:
When Nellie Pledger moved into her house at the corner of 48th Street Ensley and Terrace Q in 1995, crime was rampant in the area, she said.
For a while it seemed things were getting better, but now gunfire rings out nightly sending Pledger dropping to the floor, fearing she might be an unintended victim. "Bullets don't have names," Pledger said.
Outside Pledger's home, decorated with Christmas lights and with her small dog, Midnight, yapping in the yard, Birmingham homicide detectives this evening worked to solve a shooting that left one person dead and another injured this afternoon. Ben Ward, a 23 year resident of the community, was feeding his dogs when he heard three shots at about 4 p.m.
"It's not as bad as it used to be, but it seems like it's getting worse," Ward said. A short distance from the crime scene, groups of teenagers laughed and tossed a football back and forth in Central Park less than two hours after the shooting. It wasn't clear how badly the surviving shooting victim was injured, said Birmingham Homicide Lt. Scott Praytor.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses at police headquarters and have not, as of this evening, spoken with the surviving victim, Praytor said. We're trying to get all the pieces so we can put them together," Praytor said.
A preliminary investigation indicated the surviving victim went to Terrace Q to score some drugs but was robbed at gunpoint. Pulling a gun of his own, the two shot each other and both were hit in the chest, said Detective Jonathon Ross.
The robber died at UAB Hospital. The surviving victim began driving up Third Avenue West, presumably trying to get to the hospital, Ross said. Birmingham police officers alerted to the shooting were waiting when the victim drove through the 15th Street West intersection, about two miles from the scene of the shooting, Ross said.
The pathetic economy, climate and culture of Birmingham in 2012, almost entirely created by it's majority black population (where the almost entirely black city council just banned giving out business licenses to Title Loan and Payday Stores) ... is not for debate, because it's such an obvious improvement over Birmingham 1963.

What were those white bigots trying to stop anyway? Blacks from taking power and... oh. Creating the climate and culture found in Birmingham today.

The entire western world is held captive in a prison of "white privilege" by the 'Letter from a Birmingham Jail'
In a recent Twitter.com engagement with Joey Kennedy - whose Twitter profile states: Pulitzer Prize winning editorial writer; community engagement specialist for The Birmingham News and Alabama Media Group. UAB teacher. Has been called 'baller.' - he immediately pulled out the unbeatable "Birmingham 1963 trump card:
When prompted that Birmingham's current condition might be the fault - or inability - of its majority black population to maintain the infrastructure they inherited from the white people they drove to the suburbs, Mr. Kennedy responded as only one could in 140 characters or less -- @sbpdl Also, Birmingham was pretty ruined by racist white people bombing churches and attacking peaceful marchers in the streets.
No one can dare counter the "Birmingham 1963" defense, with all debate on any subject instantly ending due to the moral superiority of those righteous black people who dared stand in defiance of law and order, which kept the thin line of civilization - the color line - intact.

But what happened to "the dream" of the same man who wrote 'Letter from a Birmingham Jail'? While we act that 1963 Birmingham still is the only frame of reference one can work with when talking about the city, black political control of Birmingham proved ruinous to any hope of a prosperous future. Where once white families with young children dreamed of a future like that in the cartoon The Jetsons,  white flight quickly turned Birmingham's future into that of The Flinstones: instead of lovable Cro-Magnon individuals like Barney and Fred, you got a city that devolved into an orgy of black crime and depressed property values [CAN THESE NEIGHBORHOODS BE SAVED?, Birmingham News, 8-19-2007]:
The core of metro Birmingham suffers slow-motion destruction. When heavy industry faded, neighborhoods followed. Across the Jones valley, businesses boarded up, people moved to the suburbs, thousands of homes were left to decay. It leaves everyone with a complex problem: How can we fight urban blight?
The exodus created a broken real estate mar- ket in depressed neighborhoods where sellers outnumber buyers — and a city where thousands of houses and apartments were left to decay. What’s more, the Regional Planning Commis- sion of Greater Birmingham predicts urban blight will continue to swell.
The commission projects that by 2030 the number of households will de- crease by 17 percent in East Lake and Woodlawn, 22 percent in the neighborhoods around the air- port, 27 percent in North Birmingham, 13 percent in Pratt City and Ensley, and 17 percent in West End. Since 1990, the city of Birmingham has demol- ished 7,948 single-family houses. This year, the city plans to spend $750,000 tearing down 423 more. Even at that pace, a backlog of more than 200 homes will remain.
And the list keeps growing. Inspectors investigate 1,200 new complaints a year. The inspections initiate a protracted process that often ends with the property being boarded up, decaying to a point of danger and, eventually, getting demolished. Even when they’re gone, they’re a drain: The city spends $2 million a year cutting vacant lots. Meanwhile, decaying houses and overgrown lots cost residents who stay.
A study in Philadel- phia found that a single abandoned property bleeds $7,627 out of the value of neighboring homes. Josephine Hardie, 67, sees that in her three- bedroom, one-bath home on Tennessee Avenue. The retired Hayes High algebra teacher has lived there since she was 6, when her father, a cook on the Silver Comet passenger train, bought it. Years ago, she wanted to move to Roebuck, but stayed to care for her mother. Today, she doubts she could sell the home for its assessed value of $54,000. With the condition of her neighborhood, she said, “It’s not worth that.”
The vacancy chain
For Mark LaGory, a sociologist at the Univer- sity of Alabama at Birmingham, Woodlawn of- fers a case study in the deterioration of inner-city communities. People who’ve left Birmingham, LaGory said, often drive through their childhood neighborhoods and shake their heads.
“They say, ‘Isn’t it a shame what happened to the neighborhood?’” LaGory said. “Well, it is inevitable what happened to the neighborhood. That is the way our system works.” The government effectively subsidizes new home construction by giving federal backing to the mortgage industry and giving a tax deduc- tion for mortgage interest, he said.
That leads to new and better housing, but puts pressure on older, less valuable homes. “For every house built, another house below it tends to go vacant. That creates a vacancy chain.” Those who can’t afford to move, LaGory said, stay and watch the neighborhood depopulate. The downward spiral discourages people from maintaining their housing. “Particularly since most of them don’t have a lot, why would they invest in something they know doesn’t appreciate?” LaGory said.
The Visible Black Hand of Economics in post-Birmingham 1963. But we can't talk about that, can we Mr. Kennedy?

Fiscal Cliffs of Insanity!

It's going to happen sooner or later.
You've obviously seen the old cartoon with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. You've, no doubt, seen the poor Coyote chase the Road Runner, only to be tricked by some ruse and go flying over a cliff.

Only after proceeding for another few seconds does the tricked Coyote realize strange things are afoot; he looks at the viewer, then looks down... realizing he no longer standing on ground, but suspended in the air. Mere seconds later, the Coyote plunges down, with the viewer watching the this all unfold from a 20,000 foot view.

The Coyote disappears into the landscape below before... SPLAT!!! A huge dust cloud emerges where the Coyote has crashed to the earth.

Currently, the United States of America federal government is in a similar situation as the Coyote; but instead of looking down to realize it - like the Coyote - is no longer on solid ground, it continues to move forward.

Personally, I don't really care what happens. I just know that the Weekly Standard has reported on the type of economic titans needed to ensure the financial cliff of insanity is a hurdle the Obama Administration maneuvers past with the dexterity of the Road Runner side-stepping a trap [Obama Consults With MSNBC Host Al Sharpton, and Other 'Civil Rights Leaders,' on Fiscal Talks, 11-16-12]:
This afternoon, President Barack Obama consulted with MSNBC host Al Sharpton, who's also associated with the National Action Network (NAN), about the fiscal talks between the White House and Congress. At the same meeting, Obama also consulted with other "leaders of civil rights and civic organizations."
Per the White House, expected attendees included:
President Obama and Vice President Biden met with leaders of civil rights and civic organizations to discuss negotiations over how to avoid the fiscal cliff. The meeting lasted over an hour, and participants spoke to reporters outside the West Wing after they wrapped up.

The Dread Pirate Roberts climbed the cliff of insanity
Worry not! The economic future of America is secured knowing these fantastic organizations are working in tandem with the Obama Administration to scale the fiscal cliff of insanity, plant a giant black flag atop it, and scale back down with more entitlements (EBT/Food Stamps, Welfare, Section 8 Housing, Obama Phones, etc.) to spread to those voters who helped bring about his second term.

Like those black women ages 18-29 who gave Obama near monolithic support (98 percent - 1 percent for Romney) in the 2012 election. This is the same group of women who have a median net worth of $5 dollars , so we should all once bow to the glory of democracy in helping to elect our commander-in-chief.

Why might the financial cliff of insanity be an obstacle to America's future? Well, let's allow this quick anecdote from Howard Gillette Jr.'s Camden After the Fall: Decline and Renewal in a Post-Industrial City provide the gruesome detail.

Dr. Gillette, a professor of history at Rutgers University, writes glowingly about Myron Orfield's plan to enact a plan of "regional equity agenda" (the New Jersey Metropatterns report), which promoted redistributed wealth from white suburbs of Camden to the depressed city of Camden - almost entirely non-white - as a way to "enhance opportunities for redevelopment and for the poor" (p. 224-225):
The report spoke directly to the situation int he greater Camden area. During the 1990s, the suburbs immediately adjacent to Camden, most notably Pennsauken, but also Collingswood and the western portion of Cherry Hill, began to be affected by the same patterns of blight and unsettling demographic change that affected Camden's outer residential areas. In both Pennsauken and Collingswood, the area between the Camden border and U.S. Route 130 began to look more like Camden, both physically (with more rental units) and demographically. As a sure sign of change, the presence of black and Hispanic children in Pennsauken schools increase to 46 percent in 1995 and 68 percent in 1999.

White flight was beginning in Pennsauken. When one family, the Bonifacios, decided to leave for Cherry Hill, the sale of their home was delayed because only minority buyers who found financing difficult to obtain considered the home.

As early as 1987, some white homeowners had begun to express alarm. "I'm afraid the value of my property will depreciate because East Camden is moving in slowly, " one commented. "You can see it coming. I'm talking about drugs, theft, noise." Quipped one Pennsauken resident only a few years later, "Let's face it, everyone is moving out of Pennsauken: just ask a realtor. There are more than 600 houses for sale in Pennsauken."

Responding to the perception that crime was spilling over from Camden into their townships, perception that crime was spilling over from Camden into their township, Pennsauken officials  in 1994 instituted spot police checks of cars crossing the border. Only when Camden Mayor Arnold Webster, backed by a constitutional expert who saw racism in Pennsauken's actions, objected strenuously did the practice stop.
Camden was 89 percent white in 1940 (104,842 out of 117,536 residents),and it was thriving. It attracted a steady flow of black migrants in search of jobs (that they didn't create, nor could they sustain). By 1980, the city was 53 percent black (45,009 out of 84,910 residents). Only 26,003 white people remained.

This is how the city of Camden went over the fiscal cliff -- no more white residents paying the taxes to support the city. Eventually, the same non-white population that overwhelmed Camden started to overwhelm the white suburbs surrounding the city.

What's interesting is that many of the same people President Obama recently consulted in helping his administration and the federal government climb over the fiscal cliff of insanity have spent their lives dedicated to ensuring that all America look like Camden.

And... that white people pay for it.

Moral of the story?

You figure that one out.

And King George III was Worse?

It's on a day like today, when the events of the past 22 months point to an incredibly unsettling truth, that any good will you had toward the United States of America fades away.

Yes, black people in Memphis, Tennessee believe they built this pyramid too
Completely.

It's on a day like today that you look at a document, the US Constitution - revered by so many for reasons not so discernible anymore - and realize we now live under a tyranny far worse then any King George III could ever have created.

And that tyranny is all enforced in the name of the US Constitution.

What might I be referring too? [Suburbs study options after schools defeat:It's 'simply a delay, not a defeat', Memphis Commercial Appeal, 11-27-12]:
Suburban Shelby County residents had been preparing for swearing-in ceremonies for the municipal school board members they elected Nov. 6, but late Tuesday officials from Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland and Millington had dropped those plans and were reassessing their options.

After months of challenges, court proceedings and three days of mediation last week failed to reach an accord between the outlying cities and county commission, city council and city of Memphis over municipal schools, U.S. Dist. Judge Samuel "Hardy" Mays ruled legislation allowing the suburbs to pursue municipal schools this year is unconstitutional.

Mays' ruling means that, for now, the suburbs' plans for starting their school systems in August 2013 are on hold. That includes August referendums where suburban voters overwhelmingly approved establishing the systems, and the Nov. 6 elections of school boards in each of the respective suburbs.
Why might the suburbs of Memphis be starting their own school district? Because back in 2011, the black voters in Memphis decided to dissolve the city school system and merge it with the county. Here's more on the fight that makes perfectly clear the racial aspects of the situation [Memphis Schools Push For Merger With Wealthier, Whiter District, Newsone.com, 2-22-2011]:
A bold bid by the struggling, majority-black Memphis City Schools system to force a merger with the majority-white, successful suburban district has fanned relatively routine fears over funding and student performance into accusations of full-blown racism.

The fight over the fate of 150,000 public school students has stirred long-festering emotions in Memphis and surrounding Shelby County, creating a drama that has spread beyond school board meetings to union rallies, the state Legislature and federal court.

The spark for the schools consolidation fight began smoldering on Election Day last November, when Republicans took control of the state Legislature and saw Republican Bill Haslam win the governor’s race. Shelby County’s Republican politicians finally saw their chance to forever block a merger by securing special school district status.
The special status would draw a boundary around the Shelby County school district, protecting its autonomy and tax base – and, according to Jones, taking $100 million a year from the already underfunded Memphis schools system.
“We’re already a divided community in terms of racial polarization,” said Tom Word, who is white and a parent of three children in Memphis public schools. “That would further exacerbate that division.”
Memphis school board member Martavius Jones launched the charter surrender effort to get out in front of any effort by Shelby County to fence off its schools from the city.

Memphis schools began integrating in 1961 without the violence other Southern cities endured. White parents instead left the city for the suburbs or put their children in private schools, effectively re-segregating education into a mostly black city system and a largely white suburban system.
The 2010-2011 budget for Memphis City Schools is about $890 million to cover 103,000 students, 85 percent of whom are black. For the 47,000-student Shelby County system, which is 38 percent black, it’s more than $363 million.

The New York Times noted on November 5, 2012, race is at the center of the looming war to create a new municipal school board that would be deemed "unconstitutional" on November 27 [Merger of Memphis and County School Districts Revives Race and Class Challenges]:
When thousands of white students abandoned the Memphis schools 38 years ago rather than attend classes with blacks under a desegregation plan fueled by busing, Joseph A. Clayton went with them. He quit his job as a public school principal to head an all-white private school and later won election to the board of the mostly white suburban district next door.

Now, as the overwhelmingly black Memphis school district is being dissolved into the majority-white Shelby County schools, Mr. Clayton is on the new combined 23-member school board overseeing the marriage. And he warns that the pattern of white flight could repeat itself, with the suburban towns trying to secede and start their own districts.

“There’s the same element of fear,” said Mr. Clayton, 79. “In the 1970s, it was a physical, personal fear. Today the fear is about the academic decline of the Shelby schools.”

“As far as racial trust goes,” Mr. Clayton, who is white, added, “I don’t think we’ve improved much since the 1970s.”

The merger — a result of actions by the Memphis school board and City Council, a March referendum and a federal court order — is the largest school district consolidation in American history and poses huge logistical challenges. Memphis teachers are unionized, Shelby County’s are not; the county owns its yellow buses, the city relies on a contractor; and the two districts use different textbooks and different systems to evaluate teachers.

Toughest of all may be bridging the chasms of race and class. Median family income in Memphis is $32,000 a year, compared with the suburban average of $92,000; 85 percent of students in Memphis are black, compared with 38 percent in Shelby County.

But Kenya Bradshaw, who was recently elected secretary of a separate 21-member commission set up to recommend policies for combining the new districts, sees the merger as a chance for Memphis “to re-envision its educational system.”

“I hope people can see that this is an opportunity to reflect on our history and not make the same mistakes,” said Ms. Bradshaw, an advocate for educational equity, who is black. “If people are leaving for reasons that they don’t want their children to be around children of color or children who are poor, then I say to them, ‘I bid you farewell.’ ”

Though race has become the elephant in the room, the process actually began last winter as a struggle over finances.

Shelby County includes Memphis and six incorporated suburbs to its north and east. Tax money from the entire county is distributed to the two districts based on student population. Memphis, with 103,000 students, compared with 47,000 in the county, gets more of the money, though the suburbs contribute more per capita.

Fearing that suburban politicians and Tennessee’s Republican-dominated legislature might alter this arrangement to allow more tax money to stay in the suburbs, Memphis voted in December to surrender the school charter. Multiple lawsuits ensued, and a federal judge ruled on Sept. 28 that the two districts would be governed by a unified board but would run separately for two years, and then would combine in 2013.
Actually, the financial aspect of this story is about race too; why should white taxpayers in the suburbs of Memphis have to financially support the poor life decisions of black people and subsidize their fatherless children in K-12 education? Why can't their tax dollars be used to augment their children's education in the white suburban school district?

And why would white citizens of the thriving suburbs of Memphis be concerned with having their children attend the same schools as black kids? For the very reason that in 2008, the Memphis City Council decided to step in and stop A&E from filming its popular show The First 48 in the city [Memphis police cut ties with TV's 'First 48': Show sensationalizes city violence, council says, May 12, 2008, Memphis Commercial Appeal]:
The A&E police documentary that made TV stars of local homicide detectives appears to be DOA in Memphis.

Police director Larry Godwin decided not to renew the department's deal with the company that produces "The First 48" after several City Council members voiced concerns that the show made the Bluff City look like Murder Central.

"I heard out-of-town people say Memphis was out of control," said City Council member Wanda Halbert. "We were exposing the world to the worst aspects of our city."
For more on Memphis, black crime, and the sorry state of Memphis City Schools please read: President Mein Obama visits Memphis: Will he propose the Michael Oher Act?

Memphis has high rates of crime, poverty, blight, and misery and low property values because of its high population of black people; the suburbs of Memphis have high property values and low rates of crime, poverty, and blight because of its high population of white people.

This story makes perfectly clear the role that white people, be they from the greatest generation; retirees; baby-boomers; generation x; generation y; millennial's; currently enrolled in K-12 private or public schools; newborn; in the womb; or still in the reproductive organs of a white mother or father and just a fun night or two away from being conceived... play in 2012 America and all that they're good for: providing the tax revenue so that it can be racially redistributed to allow for the proliferation of non-whites.

If you dare protest -- then that revered document, the US Constitution, will be applied as a vigorous reminder that white people have only two choices: death and taxes.

It's on a day like today, when the events of the past 22 months point to an incredibly unsettling truth, that any good will you had toward the United States of America fades away.

Completely.

White man and white woman: know your role, and shut your mouth.

Welcome to life in Black-Run America (BRA).

Demography is Destiny: Chicago as a Case-Study for America's Future

New column up at VDare.com -- Mitt Romney, Bernard Epton, And The Chicagoization Of America:
The 1983 Chicago Mayoral Race = A Case-Study for the future of US Politics?
Another day in the death of Chicago: The South Side funeral of a murdered gang member was disrupted Monday by what appears to have been a revenge shooting (Cops: Gang member killed, another seriously wounded at funeral, By Jeremy Gorner, Liam Ford and Carlos Sadovi, Chicago Tribune, November 26, 2012).
But Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel says the Second City is the blueprint for the New America. And certainly with a population that is almost 1/3 white, 1/3 black, and 1/3 Hispanic, Chicago looks like the racial pie that both Democrats and Republicans seem hurried to bake as the future of the United States.
Emanuel wrote recently:
“Demographics alone are not destiny. There is nothing in this year’s election returns that guarantees Democrats a permanent majority in the years to come. President Obama and the Democratic Party earned the support of key groups—young people, single women, Latinos, African Americans, auto workers in the Rust Belt and millions of other middle-class Americans—because of our ideas.” [How to Rebuild America, Washington Post, November 23, 2012]
Emanuel’s “ideas” are just neoliberal boilerplate about public-private “coordinated investment” a.k.a. spending, plus (of course) “comprehensive immigration reform.”
But, actually, demographics are destiny. Obama won reelection from black voters primarily because he too is black; he won reelection from other minority groups because of anti-white racism and, as Patrick J. Buchanan noted in defense of Mitt Romney, because he offered more goodies.
Read the rest over at VDare, but be sure to send this one to your Republican friends who still holds out hope that the "black vote" will turn around, or that Hispanics are natural conservatives.

Jamie Foxx Unchained

No matter what Obama does, black people in America have his back.

Not long ago, Judicial Watch reported an interesting nugget of criminal information [Obama DOJ: Growth in Violent Crimes Against Whites, 10-19-2012]:

Not only is the U.S. economy in shambles, violent crime is at an all-time high and new federal statistics show that 2011 saw the biggest increase in criminal activity in nearly two decades with a large boost in the rate of “violent victimizations” for whites.

The rate of violent crime increased by a whopping 17% last year, according to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), marking the biggest jump since 1993. Property crimes also went up 11% last year. That means that in 2011 there were nearly 6 million violent victimizations and more than 17 million property victimizations, according to the DOJ figures.

In an apparent effort to downplay the alarming statistics the feds explain in a press release that the swelling of violent crime is due to an increase in the number of aggravated and simple assaults. There was no “statistically significant change” in the number of more serious crimes such as rapes, sexual assaults and robberies, according to the explanation.

Here are more unsettling statistics buried deep in the DOJ’s new crime report; there has been a large increase in the rate of violent victimizations for whites, Hispanics and younger people. That means white non-Hispanics and Hispanics experienced an increase in violent victimization rates, while the rate for black non-Hispanics was stable, according to the DOJ stats.

Now is there by chance, just a chance, that this rise in violent victimizations of whites coincides with Barack Obama in the White House?

What was it that gang of 50+ black kids in Akron, Ohio chanted over Independence Day 2009, as they assaulted a white family? Oh yeah, “This is a black world.

But only a white bigot would dare point out the correlation between rising levels of anti-white violence in America (think Colin Flaherty, with his book “White Girl Bleed A lot”) and the election of President Obama to the White House – right?

After all, it was the election of black mayors to cities like Cleveland, Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, Birmingham, Camden, Gary (Indiana), Baltimore, and New Orleans that signified to the electorate the city was under “different management”; black management, with the interests of black constituents taking precedent over those of the dwindling white population in each of the aforementioned cities.

Or, as Harold Washington succinctly put it when he was elected mayor of Chicago in 1983, “It’s our turn now.”

What killed these cities?

An interesting visual from the "Django Unchained" trailer -- cotton stained red with blood...
Simple.

A white exodus from the city because high rates of black crime made it impossible to raise a family or conduct business within the city limits; once the electorate became sufficiently black, “racial democracy” became enshrined in city hall; once city hall went black, jobs, contracts and favors would all go to benefiting the black community.

These cities were casualties of equality, and belief system that has the highest rate of violent victimization in the world.

Which brings us to Django himself, Jamie Foxx, who in an unchained moment of clarity stated this about Barack Obama [Jamie Foxx: 'Our Lord and Savior Barack Obama', Newsbusters.com, 11-26-12]:
This occurred at the previously recorded Soul Train Awards broadcast on BET Sunday (video follows with transcript and commentary):

JAMIE FOXX: First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama.

Please also notice that this clip was used as a promo for the presentation by BET.

It might be a stretch to dare bring out a comparison to the upcoming film “Django Unchained” (a movie that appears to be a glorification of a slave rebellion in the antebellum south), but let’s just look at few key quotes from trailers for the movie:
Dr. King Schultz: How do you like the bounty-hunting business?
Django: Kill white people and get paid for it? What's not to like?

Another quote from a trailer has this provocative quote ['Django Unchained': Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx Face Off in New Trailer (Video), Hollywood Reporter, 10-10-12]:

The new clip features a conversation between the characters portayed by Foxx, DiCaprio and Waltz, during which DiCaprio's Calvin asks: "I've spent my whole life surrounded by black faces. I only have one question: Why don't they just rise up and kill the whites?"
Isn’t this what happened in places like Cleveland, Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, Birmingham, Philadelphia, Newark, Watts, Houston, Dallas, Camden, Gary (Indiana), Baltimore, and New Orleans? Didn’t the black population create such an intolerable climate for white people to live in – primarily based on a proclivity to monopolize crime rates – that they vacated the cities their ancestors built to electorally impenetrable black political rule? And, eventually, financial and moral insolvency?

If you were to look at what happens to the police departments of major cities once a black mayor is ensconced in city hall, you’ll inevitably find that the black community has railed against this protector of law and order as “fascistic white racists” (or something to that effect), and the first order of business will be to drastically reduce the police’s ability to do their job – i.e., protect the law-abiding citizens from high rates of black crime.

Wait—we already did that for you [ An Elegant Weapon for a More Civilized Age].

The black population of major American cities has risen up and targeted whites, engaging in a form of electoral genocide in a growing number of municipalities. Detroit isn’t the only city that black people Detroit-ed.

Through the Great Migration of Blacks (what we call “Manifest Destruction”) from the south, a long list of northern cities have been remade ‘In Their Image.’

And regardless of the quality of life that black political rule brings black people, they’ll still look upon any black elected official as a leader of their people.

This is the lesson of Racial Democracy in America.

Yes Virgina, There are Racial Differences in Intelligence

Santa Claus isn't real; but, dear Virginia, racial differences in intelligence are real
All of modern American life is predicated on one rule: All Men are Created Equal (AMCE). There's a caveat to this rule: wherever and whenever white people come to dominate a certain profession or set the standard for academic achievement, only "white privilege" or "racism" can be involved, an insidious ally in giving whitey a leg up over the competition.

So what happens when a state like, say, Florida decides to implement new racially-based education goals [The Hard Bigotry of Great Expectations, SBPDL]? Wouldn't this be a breach of contract in the AMCE guidelines that govern all of American life?

Well, it's not just Florida... [Firestorm Erupts Over Virginia's Education Goals, NPR, 11-12-12]:
As part of Virginia's waiver to opt out of mandates set out in the No Child Left Behind law, the state has created a controversial new set of education goals that are higher for white and Asian kids than for blacks, Latinos and students with disabilities.
Virginia Democratic state Sen. Donald McEachin first read about the state's new performance goals for schoolchildren in a newspaper editorial.
"And I was shocked to find that the state board of education [was] putting in place permanent disparities between different subgroups — Asians at the top, African-Americans at the bottom," says McEachin.

Here's what the Virginia state board of education actually did. It looked at students' test scores in reading and math and then proposed new passing rates. In math it set an acceptable passing rate at 82 percent for Asian students, 68 percent for whites, 52 percent for Latinos, 45 percent for blacks and 33 percent for kids with disabilities.
Alarmed by these numbers, McEachin and members of the Legislature's black caucus denounced the new policy as a "backwards-looking scheme."
"If we don't demand the best of our children, we won't receive the best," says McEachin.
At a meeting of the state board of education in late September, Patricia Wright, Virginia's superintendent of public instruction, defended the new policy.
"Rest assured, all of us hold all students to the same academic standards, but when it comes to measuring progress, we have to consider that students start at different points," Wright said.
In a phone interview with NPR, Wright explained that Virginia's expectation is that all students, regardless of race or ethnicity, will correctly answer the same number of questions to pass the state tests.

But the reality is that black and Latino children generally don't do as well as white and Asian children, and that gap, says Wright, is what the new policy is meant to address by setting more modest goals for struggling minority children and giving them more time to catch up.
"The concept here is that if indeed within six years we can close the achievement gap between the lowest- and highest-performing schools — at least cut it in half — that would be acceptable progress," says Wright.
At least one board member responded indignantly to accusations that the new policy harkens back to the era of segregation and Jim Crow. "We're not trying to go back to Jim Crow. What does that make us, Uncle Toms?" said Winsome Sears, one of three black board members at a meeting last month.
"So why do we have these different subgroups? Because we're starting with black children where they are. We can't start them at the 82 percentile because they're not there. The Asian students are there. And so the real question is why aren't black students starting at the 82 percentile? Why? Why are they not there?" Sears said.
That's the problem the board wants to solve, Sears said. Virginia devised the new policy after receiving a waiver from the U.S. Department of Education. Thirty-three states have received such waivers freeing them from what they call the unrealistic goal of the No Child Left Behind law — that all children perform at grade level by 2014.
But what Virginia has really done, critics argue, is institutionalize lower expectations for minority and disabled kids.

"Virginia has done something very, very wrong," says Amy Wilkins, with the Education Trust, a research group that advocates for closing the achievement gap.
"What Virginia said is, black kids in our state should achieve not at grade level but at the highest level that black kids have achieved in the past. That's not a forward-looking goal," Wilkins says. "That is not a goal that's going to ensure that black kids catch up with white kids or Latinos catch up with white kids or poor kids catch up with rich kids."
Wright disagrees but would not elaborate.
"Well, I really can't comment on Ed Trust's statement," says Wright.
"Institutional racism" can only be blamed for the "lower expectations" for minority and disabled kids in Virginia. Incredibly, the bar that black kids must reach for acceptable passing of the math portion shows a -23 point difference between what a white student must get to pass; a -37 point difference between what an Asian student must get to pass; and only a +12 point difference between what a student who is "cognitively challenged" (mentally handicapped) must score to pass.

There's not much more to add to this, save this article [Fairfax Success Masks Gap for Black Students, Washington Post, 4-14- 2006]:
Black students in Fairfax County are consistently scoring lower on state standardized tests than African American children in Richmond, Norfolk and other comparatively poor Virginia districts, surprising Fairfax educators and forcing one of the nation's wealthiest school systems to acknowledge shortcomings that have been masked by its overall success.
Even within Fairfax schools, black elementary school students are outperformed on reading and math tests by whites and some other students, including Hispanics, poor children and immigrants learning English.
The statewide disparity occurs among all age groups except the middle-school grades, but it is most pronounced at the elementary level, according to Virginia Department of Education data analyzed by The Washington Post. Black third-graders in Fairfax ranked 91st among more than 125 Virginia districts in reading and 69th in math in tests taken last year. Fifth-graders ranked 40th in reading and 71st in math.
"Something is broken with the way we teach a segment of the population," said John Johnson, education chairman for the Fairfax County NAACP and the father of two students in county schools. "Despite all the things we have at our disposal, our children are being outperformed by people like us -- or people with fewer resources."
In light of the academic cheating that has been documented across the nation in majority black districts (run by black administrators, like the Atlanta Public Schools system), perhaps it is the scores of the black students in Fairfax that were correct; those scores in almost all-black Richmond Public Schools were manufactured for racially correct results?

An Elegant Weapon for a More Civilized Age

I found myself reading "Custer: A Soldier's Story" by D.A. Kinsley on Thanksgiving, a riveting biography of General George Armstrong Custer. By chance, I flipped to a page that contained this anecdote about the Indians Wars, where General William Sherman told Custer this (from the chapter: Platte River: The Custer Expedition: p. 354-355):

Sherman railed into McPherson from Sedgwick, 125 miles due west, on the following day, "Indian promises aren't worth a damn," he growled to Custer. "The redman must be taught a last lesson. All who refuse to obey the whiteman's law must be killed." Observing Custer's frown, Sherman waxed philosophical: "It's an inevitable conflict of races, one that must occur when a stronger is gradually replacing a weaker."
Sherman's verbal orders to Custer peremptory: "I want you to clean out that Augean stable of hostilities along the Republican River. Capture or kill all you can. Written instructions will follow."

Never mind what happens to the city: black political rule means neutering the police force because it targets black criminals for justice.
Cleaning out the Augean stables...

It’s interesting when you think about it; we have the absolute reverse of what Gen. Sherman spoke to when he addressed Custer. White people have been replaced in most major American cities (largely because of the threat to their safety – and their property value - posed by rising black populations), and the police departments have had their teeth removed because of how they’ve had to deal with black criminality.

We already know about S.T.R.E.S.S (Stop The Robberies; Enjoy Safe Streets) in Detroit, a police unit tasked with maintaining order in a city destined to be remade in the image of its soon-to-be majority black population.

S.T.R.E.S.S was the first casualty of Mayor Coleman Young; the first black mayor of Detroit ran on a platform of ending S.T.R.E.S.S because of how this unit dealt with black people (black people monopolized crime in Detroit in 1973; today, all crime in Detroit is black).

What about a city like Atlanta, where almost all crime is committed by black people in 2012?

When Maynard Jackson was elected in 1973, Atlanta had a well-deserved reputation as one of America’s most dangerous cities. As the percentage of black residents grew (and white people fled the city), crime rates soared. We learn in “Black Power in Dixie: A Political History of African Americans in Atlanta” by Alton Hornsby Jr., we learn:
In 1974, Atlanta experienced 5,768 serious crimes for each 100,000 residents, one of the highest rates in the nation. And an Atlanta Regional Commission report showed that nearly half of the city’s crime went unreported. In Atlanta’s more violent crimes, blacks were both perpetrators and victims.

In all of the major categories of crime- murder, robbery, rape, aggravated assault, burglary – blacks were arrested two to three times more often than whites. (p. 153)

By the mid-1980s, Atlanta was almost a 70 percent black city. Mayor Andrew Young needed to cut down on growing black crime rates if continued white investments in the city (generating much needed taxes to sustain the city) were to remain unimpeded:
Next to assuring the financial well-being of the city, Young’s most important responsibilities during his two terms in office were in the area of public safety. And in this area, by his own admission, his record was not enviable. Like most large major urban areas in the 1980s, Atlanta was plagued with serious problems of crime against person and property. But Atlanta managed to remain at or near the top of all major American cities, particularly in violent crime. Incidence of forcible rape in the city averaged 157 per 100,000 population per year, five times the national average. Aggravated assault averaged 1,573 per 100,000 population; robbery 1,099 per 100,000; and murder 8 per 100,000.

Getting tough on crime had previously been an issue that divided man Atlantans along racial lines. Frequently whites, both residents and suburbanites, accused both black administrations, Young’s as well as Jackson’s, of being “soft on crime.” Their perception of unsafe streets in downtown Atlanta is what caused many of them not visit the area for shopping, dining, or recreation, they contended. But many blacks, including city officials, countered that the problem of violent crime in downtown Atlanta, except for occasional well-publicized occurrence, was, in fact, only a perception. The real crime problem in Atlanta, they said, was in the poorer neighborhoods of the city, particularly the public housing projects. But black attitudes on controlling this crime were often affected by the city’s long history of police abuse of black citizens. (p.186-187)

And who were those citizens of “public housing” in Atlanta? Save for .01 percent of them; all black people.

Tamar Jacoby’s “Someone Else’s House: America’s Unfinished Struggle for Integration” goes one more step in describing how a recently minted black administration will neuter a police department's ability to maintain law and order in a city quickly going black:
The black population welled up over the majority mark at just about the same time in both places. By the early seventies in Atlanta, gangs were a much-discussed problem, and the neighborhoods tipping one after the other from white to black learned to brace themselves for the inevitable shoplifting and muggers. The continuing influx of out-of-town white professionals made it hard track the extent of middle-class white flight, but already by the start of the seventies, there was no mistaking the general population trend or its likely impact on the tax base. (p.366)

Of course, the tax base was being scared away by high rates of black crime; however, black people now occupied positions of authority – almost all of them – in the city government, meaning the criminals now had allies in city hall:

One of the biggest fights was over police reform. Like Coleman Young in Detroit, Jackson was determined to overhaul what he saw as a racist force, no matter what the consequences for the city. He bgan by firing the existing chief, but the man resisted in court, and Jackson trumped him by creating a position above his – a job he filled with a black man with no police experience, who happened to be an old college roommate. The new police chief, Reginald Eaves, was then in and out of the news for several years in connection with on scandal or another… eventually Jackson was forced to get rid of Eaves, but not before the mayor had convinced the Peachtree crowd that he was more concerned with curbing the police than pursuing criminals. “No more ‘police brutality’ has come to mean no more pushing around of blacks,” said downtown developer and longtime liberal John Portman. “The word is out that Atlanta is soft on crime.”

“You can call down to the police station and you can say two black fellows just robbed me, “another white merchant complained, “and it’ll be fifteen minutes before it gets on the radio – to give them time to get away.” Within a few years, the growing lawlessness forced Jackson to crack down, significantly increasing the size of the police department. But by then it was too late; as in Detroit, the crime rate in Atlanta was out of sight – by the end of decade, the worst in the country. (p. 368)

It isn’t just Atlanta; it isn’t just Detroit and the closing of the S.T.R.E.S.S police unit. Every city in America, every community in America that goes from white rule to black rule immediately sees the overall effectiveness of the police force racially restricted because it’s the black constituency that is impacted by the administering of justice.

Since America’s major cities burned in the 1960s during what amounted to a nationwide black insurrection, we have lived under the opposite of what Sherman told Custer.

A thin exists between civilization and barbarism; for those paying attention, it's merely a color-line separating the two.

Hammer Down Protocol: Houston, We Have a Big Problem

George Orwell said, "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary action."

The power of words to stir up Organized Blackness...
We learned the fragility of the system that governs America - and the entire Western world - back in 2010 when a couple of innocent kids used the PA-system at Wal-Mart to announce, "All black people must leave the store."

A national scandal erupted over this harmless prank. A year later, a lawsuit was introduced in court over the emotional torture and psychological discomfort this action had upon black ears.

Now a new scandal is erupting in Houston that threatens to turn into yet another example of bigotry that won't die [Notice at apartment complex targets young blacks, Houston Chronicle, 11-20-12]:
A notice posted at a southwest Houston apartment complex warning residents to report black youths on the property has outraged some Houston community leaders.
The leasing employee at Rock Springs Apartments, 9000 Town Park, said she had no knowledge of the notice, which reads: "We ask you to please contact the office immediately every time you see teenagers or adolescents of African-American race or any other suspicious people in the property."
When she was shown a photograph of the notice, taken moments earlier from a bulletin board in a laundry room at the complex, the employee said that "someone must have put it there."

In an email sent late Tuesday, a person identified as the property manager of the apartments agreed.
"We are always careful what kind of notices we put out," the email sent by K.K. Singh states. "Our notices are always dated and signed. You should be assured that this notice was never posted by our office. It appears someone has successfully fabricated it and been able to attract the attention of the media and take away their precious time from other momentous issues."
Attempts to reach Singh were not successful.
Free Press Houston was the first to report on the warning. An employee reportedly told the website that managers published the notice, but would not say why.
In English and Spanish
DeLoyd Parker, of S.H.A.P.E. Community Center, said the notice did not surprise him.
"It's typical of racist views constantly perpetuated by people who just don't want people of color to be a part of their experience," Parker said.

He called on the city of Houston Housing Department and Department of Housing and Urban Development to investigate.
The notice was posted in English and Spanish. Many residents at the apartment complex are Hispanic.
The notice shows that racial profiling is alive and well in Houston, said community activist Deric C. Muhammad, of the Houston Ministry of Justice.
The announcement at Wal-Mart for "All black people to leave the store" was only spoken in one language; good of the fine citizens of an almost entirely non-white apartment complex to post a message in both English and Spanish, a perfect example of furthering international relations when it comes to warning citizens of the problems black criminality poses to the health and vibrancy of a community.

Not to mention the ability to attract new renters...

Don't worry, Organized Blackness is on its way to the rescue of aggrieved black criminals everywhere [Green asks feds to look into letter warning of blacks, Houston Chronicle, 11-21-12]:
U.S. Rep. Al Green has asked federal officials to look into a notice that was posted at an apartment complex asking residents to report African-American youths or "suspicious persons."
The notice was posted at the Rock Springs Apartments, 9000 Town Park, in southwest Houston. Green, D-Houston, whose district includes the complex, wrote to the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Justice on Wednesday, requesting that the agencies "take appropriate action."
The property manager has denied the office posted the sign.
Property manager K.K. Singh said Wednesday that she believed a disgruntled resident, who was recently asked to leave the complex, had fabricated the notice.

"We asked her not to renew her lease because she caused so many problems for us," Singh said. "She did this fraud and everything."
Singh said the letter's format does not match official notices sent by the complex. The complex has hired a lawyer and reported the incident to police. Singh said she will show them text messages and video of the woman she believes is responsible for the notice.
The notice found posted in the complex's laundry room reads, "We ask you to please contact the office immediately every time you see teenagers or adolescents of Afro-American race or any other suspicious people in the property."
The notice outraged community leaders.
"Regardless as to whether this was a prank or serious effort to circumvent constitutional rights, it is something that should not go unnoticed," Green said in a statement. "Just as we took affirmative action against the hanging of nooses to intimidate, we must take affirmative action to prevent invidious stereotyping and/or odious profiling.
It will never end. Much like that made-up noose in Jena, Louisiana, the past must always be brought up to put white people in their racist place. Though the Department of Justice reports violent crime against white people rose 17 percent in 2011, the narrative, the song must always remain the same; a never-ending loop of "white people are racist" being blasted in the heads of a population seemingly incapable of just pushing the power button.

An apartment complex that is little more than a barrio has now become the center of attention in the universe of Organized Blackness; and yet the truth of "warning" to residents of the dangers of "African American" are backed by empirical data and facts that must be suppressed with the righteous anger of a civil rights movement that won't stop until every city is turned into 2012 Detroit [Study: Houston leads large cities in killings by black youths, Houston Chronicle, 12-30-08]:
As violent crime nationally slows in growth or declines, the United States is facing a dramatic — but hardly noticed — increase in murders by and of young African-American men, a Northeastern University study released today reports.
Between 2002 and 2007, the number of black male juveniles murdered nationally increased by 31 percent and the number of black perpetrators by 43 percent. The increases were even greater, the report said, when guns were used as weapons.
Focusing on the period between 2000-01 and 2006-07, the study found Houston at the top of a list of 28 U.S. cities, with a 139 percent increase in the number of young African-Americans suspected in killings.
In 2006-07, 129 young black men were murdered in the city, up from 42 in 2000-01.
Those increases came as homicides by and of young white men slowed or declined. In Houston, the number of white offenders dropped by 10 percent. Nationally, FBI statistics showed murder decreased 1.3 percent in 2007 from the previous year.
"I don't want to suggest that this is an epidemic, a crisis situation," said study co-author James Fox, professor of criminal justice and law, policy and society at the university in Boston. "But it's absolutely a growing concern, not a one-year blip."

"Kids can't wait, and crime doesn't wait," Fox said. "There is a significant need here — a large group of kids with inadequate, inferior education and a ready access to guns. A teenager with a gun in his hand is a dangerous individual."
Houston community activist Quanell X called the study a "blanket indictment of the city and government officials in the city and a greater indictment of ministers and political leaders of the African-American community."
He called for a citywide black leadership summit to find ways to end the violence.
"Until African-American leaders, both spiritual and political, male and female, can get into that room and check their egos at the door and say, 'To hell with party politics,' and walk out of that room with a plan all of us can have a part in," the killings will continue, he said.
Turn your head from the truth.  Go ahead. Just look away.

"Urban" areas across this nation are dangerous for one reason -- black people. Property values across this nation fall and "blight" is created because of the contributions of one particular group  -- black people. Once profitable business parks and malls shutter their doors for one reason -- black people. Suburbs exist for one reason -- so married couples can raise their young families in safe communities free of the problems that universally follow black people.

In one bilingual announcement at an apartment complex in Houston (where few white people, if any, reside), we see once again the fragility of Black-Run America (BRA).

A thin line exists between civilization and barbarism: we now know it's a color line, a demarcation that was eradicated in the 20th century, supposedly for the good of mankind.

Strangely, black people are now safer in majority white communities then they are in majority black communities, but this fact isn't up for debate. Only the looming specter of 'nooses', 'burning crosses', and people dressed in ghost paraphernalia can be brought up in a white person dare assert that the white community has interests.

Just like in the George Zimmerman/ Trayvon Martin story, we will soon read that those Latinos in this apartment complex were merely 'white Hispanics'...

Telling the truth... it's a revolutionary act, one that instantly causes Organized Blackness to go into spasms, knowing Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) donations are close to being secured in the war on hate.

But in each moment... a few new people are introduced to the truth, the realization that this experiment in white people being color-blind and every other race on earth bathing in the illuminating light of their color is... a rigged game.

Newark in 2012: The Predictable Result of Freedom

Newark: Where "vibrant diversity" brings us --- misery and decay
In 1950, Newark, New Jersey had a population of 438,776 people. Of this population, 82 percent were white.

Today, Newark has a population of 277,140. Of this population, 26 percent are white. Black people make up 52 percent of the city; Hispanics are 33 percent of the city (obviously, some "whites" are classified as Hispanic too).

Since the 1967 insurrection in Newark, white people have fled the city, leaving blacks in control of the government, responsible for creating new business and sustaining some semblance of an economy.

Judging by high rates of both poverty and child poverty, none of this has happened.

Maintaining civilization is a tough task; a thin line separates order and chaos.

And Newark's fate 45 years after the black race riot (rebellion) perfectly illustrates that that thin line separating civilization and barbarism is a color line [Citizens rush council members as chaos erupts at Newark City Hall meeting, Newark Star Ledger, 11-20-12]:
A behind-the-scenes political maneuver by Newark Mayor Cory Booker to fill a vacant council seat with his choice led to a near-riot in city hall tonight, with dozens of residents rushing the council stage and police responding with pepper-spray.
After weeks of jockeying for Rep. Donald Payne’s successor, Booker made an unprecedented personal appearance to cast the deciding vote with his council allies for Shanique Davis Speight, a longtime ally of power broker Stephen Adubato, over the angry objections of residents.
"In the absence of a quorum, I have an obligation to sit in," Booker said, though he was barely audible over the din. The packed city council chamber was gearing up for a showdown over the appointment as well known figures including former Mayor Sharpe James, Amiri and Amina Baraka, former Councilwoman Gayle Chaneyfield Jenkins and former Council President Donald Bradley came to back their choices.
They wanted freedom: 2012 Newark is the result
Councilman Ras Baraka attempted to speak but was not recognized by Councilman Anibal Ramos, who was serving as acting president. Instead Ramos proceeded with the nomination of Speight. Baraka, Councilwoman Mildred Crump, and Councilman Darrin Sharif walked off the dais in protest, and Booker came in cast the decisive vote, as laid out in state statute.
The move was planned by Booker’s chief-of-staff, Modia Butler, to scuttle the appointment of James’ son John Sharpe James, an avowed Booker opponent, in favor of Speight. Butler had the mayor at the ready in case of a tie or if there was no quorum. "We did our research. We abided by the rules and guidelines.
We didn’t run afoul of anything," Butler said. After the vote, residents stood chanting "Cory’s gotta go!" as officials shouted over the confusion. But when Speight was escorted by police to be sworn in, a group of residents, led by SEIU Local 617 President Rahaman Muhammad, stormed the dais and appeared to lunge toward Speight and her grade-school-age son.
Police restrained the group as they toppled a podium and residents were caught in the rush. When Muhammad would not give way, an officer doused him with pepper spray, along with residents, reporters and at least one other officer. "This truly was an out-of-body experience," said Sharif.
"The mayor, who goes all around the country to talk about democracy … literally in the back of the room, hiding in the shadows." In the confusion, Speight was ushered out of the council chamber and sworn in by City Clerk Robert Marasco. After weeks of jockeying for Payne’s successor council members Sharif, Baraka, and Crump supported John Sharpe James.
Council members Carlos Gonzalez, Anibal Ramos, and Luis Quintana and Augusto Amador backed Speight. West Ward Councilman Ron Rice was the only member not present, saying he was "boycotting" the meeting.
Democracy. The mob. The rabble. Subsidized entirely by the federal and state government, with virtually no productive citizens in Newark; a population living of the scraps of dwindling prosperity. And the generosity of Mark Zuckerberg.

Newark is a vivid reminder of the vibrant coalition that brought about Barack Obama's reelection in 2012 in the flesh. A microcosm of those who understand what life is like in a racial democracy and the type of civilization that is produced in the absence of white people.

Those black people who engaged in riots back in the 1960s in cities like Watts, Detroit, Rochester, and Newark set-in-motion events, when they're studied, analyzed, and scrutinized with an evil Euro-centric mindset, prove conclusively that the problem of the 20th century was the rejection; the repudiation; and the overthrow of the color line.

Barbarism is now the order of the day.

Hey -- at least Newark was murder-free back in March of 2010; the first time that brass ring was grabbed the citizens of the city in 44 years! Baby steps to civility, right?
