Who are those "Vanilla Midgets" on the Patriots Offense? Moneyball, White Athletes, and the New England Patriots Chase a Dynasty

Tonight's Super Bowl between the New York Giants and white America's team, the New England Patriots, is beautiful racial theater. Tom Brady and a team of - what the media would derisively call - 'vanilla midgets' (the very white Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, and Danny Woodhead - will face the Giants in a rematch of the Super Bowl where Eli Manning out-dueled the Patriots back in 2008. Not to mention the incredibly talented white tight end Rob Gronkowski, the 2011 Patriots were an offensive unit largely paced by white athletes.
Wes Welker (middle) and Rob Gronkowski, both had 1,000 yards receiving in 2012. Tom Brady is far left.

Here's the latest column at Vdare.com that I did, on the game:

The 2011 National Football League season ends Sunday February 5, when the New England Patriots play the New York Giants for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLVI. Last year, the Superbowl game broke television rating records, with more than 111 million people watching the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Fox. Football has unmistakably supplanted baseball as America’s new “national pastime”.

The popularity of the NFL is due to various factors. The regular season consists of only 16 games, meaning it’s not impossibly time-consuming to follow your favorite team or player. And the NFL has instituted revenue-sharing from the awe-inspiring television contracts it has signed with networks like Fox, NBC, CBS, and ESPN, imposing a variant of socialism to ensure all teams have the same salary cap—the amount of money available to attract players. This creates a level financial field for every team—and means the NFL is more of a horse race (so to speak).

In contrast, professional baseball doesn’t have a salary cap. That’s why a team like the New York Yankees has a payroll of more than $202 million in 2012, compared to the Kansas City Royals’ $36 million. And when you can buy the best players and sign quality depth, a baseball team can basically mortgage the future of the franchise for a World Series victory. Indeed, the Florida Marlins have done this twice, in 1997 and 2003.

Still, Moneyball (book by Michael Lewis book, movie with Brad Pitt) is the definitive account of how Billy Beane, the Oakland A’s idiosyncratic but imaginative general manager, was able to turn a franchise with one of the smallest payrolls into one of the most competitive teams in baseball by finding what economists would call market inefficiencies in how talent was evaluated by scouts.

Beane’s idea, according to Lewis:

What he believed was what Paul Volcker seemed to suspect, that the market for baseball players was so inefficient, and the general grasp of sound baseball strategy so weak, that superior management could still run circles around taller piles of cash.

Beane sought more effective metrics for evaluating talent, assembled a team of supposed nobodies, and turned them into a ruthlessly efficient machine for winning games.

It worked. The A’s competed successfully with big-market teams flush with huge piles of cash, like the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, repeatedly making it to the playoffs and winning 20 games in a row in 2002, breaking an American League record.

Beane had proved that market inefficiencies existed and revolutionized how baseball players are evaluated.

Of course, the situation is more complex in the NFL. Managers don’t have quite as free a hand, because the concept of a level-playing field is the unofficial mantra of the league—the team that finishes with worst record automatically gets the best positions in the NFL draft that year.

But the amazing success of the New England Patriots under head coach Bill Belichick, now competing in their fifth Super Bowl (they’ve won three), shows that market inefficiencies also exist in NFL scouting.

And significantly, under Belichick, the Patriots have consistently fielded one of the whitest rosters in the sport. When you consider that the NFL has been 67 -70 percent Black over the past 15 years, it becomes increasingly clear that something strange is happening in New England. Why?

My view, as I argued in a prior column on Tim Tebow here at VDARE.com is that the NFL has a systematic anti-white bias.

Only one MSM sportswriter, the remarkable Jason Whitlock of Fox, has had the audacity to broach this subject. As a black guy, he can get away with writing about race.

Back in 2007, Whitlock argued bluntly that the abhorrent culture predominant in black America would eventually turn off white American football fans from black athletes (it happened in professional basketball) and, worse, damage the Black role in the game:

You get one NFL Truth today. Watching Chad Johnson and Larry Johnson undermine their respective head coaches, Marvin Lewis and Herm Edwards, on Sunday gave me a singular focus, forced me to contemplate an uncomfortable truth.

African-American football players caught up in the rebellion and buffoonery of hip hop culture have given NFL owners and coaches a justifiable reason to whiten their rosters. That will be the legacy left by Chad, Larry and Tank Johnson, Pacman Jones, Terrell Owens, Michael Vick and all the other football bojanglers.

In terms of opportunity for American-born black athletes, they're going to leave the game in far worse shape than they found it.

It's already starting to happen. A little-publicized fact is that the Colts and the Patriots are the league's model franchises and are two of the whitest teams in the NFL. If you count rookie receiver Anthony Gonzalez, the Colts opened the season with an NFL-high 24 white players on their 53-man roster. Toss in linebacker Naivote Taulawakeiaho "Freddie" Keiaho and 47 percent of Tony Dungy's defending Super Bowl-champion roster is non-African-American. Bill Belichick's Patriots are nearly as white, boasting a 23-man non-African-American roster, counting linebacker Tiaina "Junior" Seau and backup quarterback Matt Gutierrez.

For some reason, these facts are being ignored by the mainstream media. Could you imagine what would be written and discussed by the media if the Yankees and the Red Sox were chasing World Series titles with 11 African-Americans on their 25-man rosters (45 percent)?

We would be inundated with information and analysis on the social significance. Well, trust me, what is happening with the roster of the Patriots and the Colts and with Roger Goodell's disciplinary crackdown are all socially significant.

[NFL truth: Hip-hop culture hurting NFL  by Jason Whitlock, October 25, 2007]

Whitlock wrote about the racial dynamics of the Indianapolis Colts again in 2010, pointing out that the Peyton Manning-led offensive unit played 10 whites (out of 11 available positions). The lone black player on the field was a running back. As he said:

“The unwritten rule in sports writing/journalism is we’re only supposed to mention racial progress when it involves dark-skin minorities. Obviously, I don’t care about rules.”[NFL Truths: Colts offense has white stuff, Foxsports.com, Sept. 30, 2010]

And a recent Whitlock column on the Patriots’ game with the Baltimore Ravens—the winner was to go on to the Super Bowl—was perhaps the most racially combustible of his career:

Ravens-Patriots — Tom Brady vs. Ray Lewis — is a cultural war of the highest order.

Look, we can tip-toe around it, ignore the big beautiful elephant in the room, or we can embrace the fact that Sunday’s AFC Championship contest is soaked in the white-black racial component that has driven American sports passion at least since Jack Johnson whipped James J. Jeffries.

The stakes are high this Sunday.

Brady leads an offense built in his image. In a league that is predominantly black, Brady directs a high-flying offense that is predominantly white and relies on a deep cast of white playmakers.

Lewis leads a defense built in his brash image. Nine of the 11 Ravens defenders are African-American. To compensate for Baltimore’s inconsistent offense, Lewis’ defense not only takes risks to create turnovers, they take even more risks trying to convert those turnovers into instant points.

[Ravens-Patriots is ultimate cultural clash, by Jason Whitlock, Fox Sports, January 20, 2012]

Obviously, the Patriots won.

The Patriots’ All-Pro quarterback Tom Brady has consistently had five white offensive lineman protecting him (take a look at this famous 2005 Visa commercial with Brady’s lineman) during the team’s unbelievable run in the 2000s, where they set the NFL record for wins in a decade.

But of course, we can’t talk about this (outside of VDARE.com). Michael Holley recently published an excellent book, War Room: The Legacy of Bill Belichick and the Art of Building the Perfect Team,,  on the machine that Belichick has built in New England. But, typically, he didn’t mention the racial aspect of the team even once.

However, recently-retired former Patriots white fullback Heath Evans, whose career was rejuvenated by New England after he was waived by the Miami Dolphins, was devastatingly frank in an interview with the New Orleans Times-Picayune’s  Jeff Duncan

"You have some teams that are racially divided. You have some teams that are positionally divided. Some teams divided between offense and defense. Everyone has to buy in and be on the same page."

Nurturing such an environment in the "me generation" can be difficult. If not managed properly, the wealth and fame associated with the NFL can be hazardous to a locker room's cultural health.

"I believe the difference between winning and losing, between first and last place, is this much," Evans said, holding his thumb and index finger an inch apart. "Not every team has great leadership."[Saints make effort to limit culture shock, August 02, 2009]

Evans got his chance to start at running back for Belichick’s Patriots —something he was denied at Auburn University, which he attributed it to his whiteness. And he ran for 84 yards on 17 carries, and caught three passes for 18 yards, in a game against the same team that had just cut him.

Similarly, the key contributors to the 2011 Patriots offense have primarily been white players overlooked and undervalued by the other 31 franchises—until they were all signed by the Patriots and allowed to mature as a team together.
Read the rest at Vdare. Comment on it here, but please use social media (Facebook and Twitter) to share it.

Michael Oriard, writing in Brand NFL: Making and Selling America's Sport, included a chapter titled 'Football in Black and White' where he wrote this paragraph in regards to the conspicuous whiteness of the Patriots:
Here I cannot document my claims, because no one would have been foolish enough to write such things, but I am certain that in 2004 [Tom] Brady (and Peyton Manning) appeared whiter to football fans than any white quareterbacks before them, because of the many black quarterbacks jockeying with them for NFL supremacy. I am also sure that the Patrios were coded white, the Eagles black, in the racial theater of the 2005 Super Bowl, and not just because of Brady.

As the media constantly reminded us over the course of the season and through the playoffs, under Bill Belichick the Patriot players did  not celebrate, they put the team ahead of themselves, and several of them signed for less money to remain with the club. Their most notable off-season acquisition, running back Corey Dillon, had arrived with the reputation of a selfish troublemaker only to be reborn as another Patriot team player. Dillon was black, as were key Patriots such as Willie McGinest, Richard Seymour, Rodney Harrison, and Deion Branch. The Patriots were black and white, like every other team in the NFL. But they seemed the whitest team in professional football because what they stood for had been coded "white" in a racial mythology that began in white bigotry, persisted less openly with the end of segregation, and had been fed in recent years by black showmanship.

Black showmanship. Let's be honest, most Black players in the NFL actively engage in strange celebrations that appear to be scripted from a Jim Crow-era Minstrel Show. One such player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, made a career based on his extracurricular activities and showmanship. After signing this season with the Patriots this season (he has only 15 receptions all year), Ochocinco has embraced the Patriots overt-white style of play.

He called the Patriots offensive-style of play "a machine"-- it should be noted that that offense is the whitest in the NFL:

Reacting to quarterback Tom Brady throwing for 517 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-24 win over Miami, Ochocinco tweeted: "Just waking up after a late arrival, I've never seen a machine operate like that n person, to see video game numbers put up n person was WOW."

Despite the Patriots marching up and down the field, Ochocinco had only one catch for 14 yards. Five New England receivers had more yards and three of the five had touchdown receptions.
ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi, appearing on sports radio WEEI, said Ochocinco better "drop the awe factor" and "stop tweeting and get in your playbook."

Bruschi added that Ochocinco shouldn't be looking at the Patriots' performance from a fan's perspective, but instead should assume this is the team's expectation.

"You're not someone who's on another team or watching TV," Bruschi said. "You're not an analyst. You're a part of it. They want you to be a part of it. So get with the program because obviously you're not getting it and you're tweeting because you're saying, 'It's amazing to see'? It's amazing to see because you don't understand it. You still don't understand it and it's amazing to you because you can't get it.
Fifteen catches. That's all. Most of the NFL is just one Minstrel Show in between actual football. The Patriots?

They've turned the concept of Moneyball on its head; they find undervalued white players (as of late) and turn them - as a unit, a team - into winners. Don't be shocked if a bunch of white guys beat the Giants by a few touchdowns tonight. Don't be shocked if other teams realize the obvious racial aspects of the Patriots team unity.

Move Over Sacajawea: York, the Black Slave Hero of the Lewis and Clark Expedition

York: The real (Black) hero of the Lewis and Clark Expedition
Black History Month is getting pretty stale. Having "Mr. Peanut" George Washington Carver, Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, the Tuskegee Airmen, and... and... Morgan Freeman's movie career carry the water for all of Black history (and Black achievement) gets old after awhile.

Real old. Thankfully, a new Black hero has been located from the annals of time. That lily-white Lewis and Clark expedition actually had a "brother" on board, who more than likely was responsible for the whole missions success:
While Meriwether Lewis and William Clark explored unknown lands, there was a lesser known force working behind the scenes to help them pave the road to the West.
His name was York and while his black skin made him Clark’s slave, it also gave their group an “in” with the Midwest’s Native American population.
You see, to the Indians, York’s skin was mystifying; a symbol power and strength.
“He’s the first known African American known to make it all the way to the Pacific Ocean and back.  So he’s one of the greats as far as the explorers are concerned,” said Richard Edwards with the National Frontier Trails Museum in Independence.
Edwards will spend February telling how York and other Black Americans helped carve out America’s place in the world.
“Both free and enslaved African Americans were part of our history from the very, very beginning,” said Edwards.
Edwards said that role enriched America’s history and helped form America’s future.
The National Frontier Trails Museum, 318 W. Pacific, has planned two programs to honor the city’s black heritage.
It will take about five years for a book to be published detailing York's profound contributions to the exploration of America. After that, give it two years for a film to be green-lit on York's life. Morgan Freeman might be a little old for the part, but you can bet that Will Smith (or his son) will be the perfect actor for this suppressed moment from American history.

Our friends at Lewis and Clark College have already done there part in working to bring the legend of York to life by erecting a faceless statue (no image exists of this Black man). The catch? How about a "map" scarred on the faceless statues back, a reminder of the wounds of slavery:

This spring, a new memorial appears on Lewis & Clark’s campus, honoring a key member of the Corps of Discovery too long ignored by history. Dedicated on May 8, 2010, York: Terra Incognita memorializes a man who served on the expedition as the slave of William Clark, who became a crucial contributor to the expedition’s success—and who, after the completion of the journey, shared in none of the fame and fortune enjoyed by other members of the corps.
The following video offers context about York’s historical significance and tells the story of the how the memorial came to be at Lewis & Clark.

Located near Watzek Library, the York sculpture stands six feet tall and is mounted on an approximately two-foot bronze base with scattered text fragments embedded around it. Neither the physique nor facial features of the sculpture claim to represent what York actually looked like.
“Because there are no known images of York,” artist Alison Saar explains, “I felt a realistic portrait would only continue to misrepresent the man.”
Partly for this reason, Saar made the sculpture’s back a focal point and a symbol of the burden borne by York during the Lewis and Clark expedition. One of William Clark’s maps is inscribed—“scarred” might be more accurate—on the sculpture’s back and shoulders.
In her proposal to the York Committee, Saar wrote, “I have a personal interest in the recognition of unsung heroes, particularly those who have been overlooked due to their race or gender.” She has previously completed several sculptures addressing this theme.
By funding and commissioning this work by a nationally recognized artist, Lewis & Clark strives to welcome people from minority populations to our campus community and to join the ongoing work to recognize historical figures, like York, who contributed greatly to our country but without acknowledgment or reward.
“The sculpture stands as a visual metaphor for a historic moment that we must regard more thoughtfully if we are to understand American history,” says York Committee Chair Linda Tesner, director of the Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art.
York is a true hero for Black-Run America (BRA), and a wonderful new hero to be added to the pantheon of characters celebrated during Black History Month. Lewis and Clark... nothing but Dead White Males. York, a living, breathing memory of a true American hero.

Freedom Failed: Urban Terrorists in Philadelphia Free to Assault Whites

Odds on the first big riot of 2012 being in Philly? High.
That crack in the Liberty Bell just got a whole lot wider. Fittingly, Philadelphia, a city where the Mayor Nutter has gone full-blown Bill Cosby on a Black population terrorizing the city’s residents and driving away investments and businesses, is the birthplace of the venerated US Constitution. Now whites flee the carnage of a city that in 1787 hosted a gaggle of Dead White Males who crafted our venerated United States Constitution, Dead White Males who -- asserts Juan Williams, only racists will cite nowadays.

Freedom Failed. We know this. Symbolically, the collapse of liberty and freedom into the doldrums of a never-ending sea of Black crime in Philadelphia is a story for future historians to flesh out.

On the heels of yet another racial assault in Philadelphia – the dynamics for Urban Terrorism is always the same; Black people attacking law-abiding citizens representing all races or overwhelmingly businesses and engaging in thievery – the District’s Attorney Office has declined to press hate crime charges:

THREE JUVENILES accused of assaulting a cabdriver and his passenger in Center City Saturday night while shouting racial slurs will not be charged with a hate crime, the District Attorney's Office said yesterday.
The teens, who are black, were not charged with hate crimes because there was no evidence that the assault had been motivated by the race of the victims, who are white, said Tasha Jamerson, D.A. spokeswoman. Just shouting racial epithets during the commission of a crime doesn't rise to the level of ethnic intimidation, she said.
"They just didn't have that in this case," she said. "If they had somebody who, two blocks before, heard them say, 'We're going to beat somebody up because they're white, brown or purple,' it might be different."
However, the three teens - two of whom are 17 and one who is 15 - have all been hit with additional counts of aggravated assault, since the passenger in the cab, Brian Goldman, came forward Monday.
About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Goldman was in a cab that was stopped at a red light at 15th and Chestnut streets when he and his 53-year-old cabdriver were assaulted at random.
Goldman escaped. The cabbie, whom police have not identified, was able to flag down officers who nabbed the attackers. Goldman said that he hadn't heard any of the attackers make racial comments, but police said that the cabbie heard them.
Hate crime charges are primarily used against white people, in that rare instance when a white person engages in criminality against a non-white person (90 percent of interracial crime is Black-on-white). Were hate crime legislation used in the instances where non-whites attack white people, well, the reality of interracial crime would become apparent for all to see.

If whites don’t have this protection what good are the laws? What good are the courts? What good came from the Constitutional Convention so long ago as we witness Freedom Fail?

This is why the continued reliance on the James Byrd story is of such a nuisance to those pushing the paradigm that has been encapsulated poignantly in the UnFair Campaign. The summer of 2011 illustrated – across the entire nation – that Black-on-white violence is not aberration, but a trend on the verge of going viral in need of suffocating.

Brian Goldman is a Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL), the type of white person who finds solace in the dying inner-cities across America. He refuses to acknowledge that freedom has failed, because it would interrupt his entire worldview, shattering it into a tiny million pieces. The same goes for Emily Guendelsberger, who had her leg broken in a Flash Mob Mahogany Mob attack by Black people last summer:
A WOMAN'S leg was broken and several other people were injured Saturday night when a large group of teens accosted pedestrians in Spring Garden, police and witnesses said.
Philadelphia police responded to two reports of pedestrians being assaulted by a large group of young people along Broad Street about 9:30 p.m.
One of those reports came from Emily Guendelsberger, 27, city editor for local arts and entertainment content for the Onion, the satirical newspaper and website. She was walking with seven friends on Green Street near Broad when they were accosted, she said. Guendelsberger, who remained hospitalized with a broken leg yesterday, declined to comment further.
She’s a hopelessly DWL- individual, a denizen of a delusion mini-Sweden (a gentrified area of a city surrounded by a hostile and dangerous world of Black people) who refuses to acknowledge that these are Black people engaging in terroristic activities that threaten the economic lifeblood and vitality of Philadelphia.

The continued Black attacks on individuals and robberies of businesses in Philadelphia will drive out commerce and investments at the same time bleeding away tax revenue) decimate homeowners’ property values, and ensure the exodus of white people to the Whitopia’s surrounding the city.

In essence, these Black attacks are engaging in a form of terrorism, Urban Terrorism. Lawrence Auster calls those DWL whites who refuse to recognize this threat “Eloi” after the fictional characters from H.G. Wells book “The Time Machine.”

Urban Terrorism has destroyed city after city in America. And by Urban Terrorism, I mean Black crime. Famed conservative pundit Michael Barone wrote an article for the American Enterprise Institute on what he witnessed as a naïve liberal during the Black Riots of 1967 in Detroit (now, he’s just an I Have a Dream – I HAD – person):

In the small hours of Sunday, July 23, Detroit police raided a “blind pig” (an after-hours bar) at 12th and Clairmount—about a mile from where my mother grew up. There were protests as police made arrests, but then people in the crowds started breaking windows, looting stores, and setting fires. The police, heavily outnumbered, made no efforts to stop them; Commissioner Ray Girardin felt that would only invite more violence.
White mayor Jerome Cavanagh was elected in 1961 at age 33 with near-unanimous support from the city’s black voters. He started ambitious poverty programs and brought in $360 million in federal money.
“A spirit of carefree nihilism was taking hold,” said the Kerner Commission Report, which was supposed to be the definitive statement on America’s urban unrest. It was an odd description of what was going on. Firemen, unprotected by police, abandoned 100 city blocks. The looting and arson continued during the day even as Representative John Conyers, then serving his second term in the House and now chairman of the Judiciary Committee, called on rioters to stop and as Cavanagh met with black leaders at police headquarters at 1300 Beaubien (a building site familiar to readers of the crime novels of Elmore Leonard). I arrived at the City-County Building around noon and found my way into meetings. At one point Mayor Cavanagh asked me, fresh from my first year of law school, whether he had the power to declare a curfew. He ordered one at 7:45 p.m., and by 9:00 p.m. Governor George Romney had declared a state of public emergency.
The riot set in motion decisions and actions that physically and spiritually destroyed much of the city over the next four decades. It sped the exodus of whites from the city to the suburbs north of Eight Mile Road; it staunched the flow of investment into the city; it led to a vast increase in crime. Coleman Young, Detroit’s mayor from 1973 to 1993, was blatantly hostile to whites and seemed entirely unperturbed by the city’s crime. Today when I drive in Detroit I see neighborhoods with burned-out, abandoned houses and empty lots once inhabited by middle-income homeowners. Detroit had 1,600,000 residents at the time of the riot. The latest Census estimate is about 919,000.
My political views have changed over those years, more because of what has happened to Detroit than anything else. In retrospect, it is plain that Detroit was as likely to have a riot as any other major city and that the programs I hoped would produce a kind of heaven in our central cities ended up producing something much more like hell. A more forceful response to the crowd outside the blind pig might have prevented the riot (as it probably did, without much notice, in other cities), and a more rapid deployment of federal troops could have stopped it earlier (as happened in Los Angeles in 1992). But it’s not clear to me that we could have avoided the disastrous policy responses that were already in train in 1967: taking a more lenient view of urban crime and promoting greater welfare dependency among blacks. That was a wrong turn, but white America did have sins to answer for, and what seems to me now the more productive response—nurturing middle-class habits and educational achievement among blacks—was a course white Americans felt too guilty to pursue. The people left in Detroit are still paying the price.

Urban terrorism has transformed America. Urban terrorists have the law on their side (well, at least the Department of Justice and the Mainstream Media which refuses to divulge or report the race of crimes) when it comes to deciding what a "hate crime" is or isn't.

It started in Detroit with the Black Riot of 1967, and has continued to plague city after city that experiences true Climate Change in its wake. Philadelphia is the next Detroit, though Mayor Nutter seems more inclined to address rising levels of Black crime threaten the city’s economic vitality then did Mayor Coleman Young.

But it is on this day that we begin to understand the reality that freedom failed in the city where the concept was enshrined into law (Well, land-owning, productive white males) Like the flame from a torch, the irony

burns so hot that itcould cut the Liberty Bell in two.

Darwin's Athletes?: Why College Football Recruiting is an HBD Event

PK: Business Plan coming for the billboard concept. Please understand that for this to work, a certain amount of secrecy must be involved in the negotiation with any advertising company. Yes, there are lawyers involved now. Five cities have been targeted now, with five others under consideration. If you are going to invest in something, it's important you see where the money will be going. Those of you who have supported SBPDL in the past can see through this sites growth where your investment has gone (the incredible design for the fourth book and the upcoming books on college football, the real reason for Detroit's Collapse, and Obama's War on White America are a testament to your investment).

Things will continue to get worse in this nation, until a dramatic example shakes people from their apathy.

Their indifference.

If interested in the billboard campaign, just e-mail me. You need to know where your investment is going. This point forward, no more public discussion of it. To those interested (and who have pledged), e-mail me for the plan.

Besides, it'll rattle the cages of Disingenuous White Liberals (DWLs), long under the impression that opposition to their progressive dreams has been silenced.

Alabama students (the male crying) reacting to the loss to LSU in The Game of the Century. They won the rematch
New, longer post coming tonight. Just wanted to bring your attention to an article up at Alternative Right. It's a preview of a chapter from the forthcoming Opiate of America: College Football in Black and White (cover coming soon). Yesterday was National Signing Day, a holiday for pathetic white men everywhere who follow the recruiting of largely thuggish Black high school athletes (a modern-day version of the slave trade) to see which university they'll end up committing to play football for, with these same largely white alumni reaching a state of sexual euphoria if they sign with their alma mater.

One such Black player was Roger Lewis, who won't be signing with any school:
A Division I football recruit who was expected to make his college choice on Wednesday's National Signing Day festivities was instead in jail, being held on two charges of rape.

As first reported by ThisWeek Pickerington, and quickly confirmed by a number of other Ohio media outlets, Pickerington (Ohio) Central star Roger Lewis, who helped his team reach Ohio's Division I state football title game in 2011, has been charged with two first-degree felony charges of rape, both of the same female acquaintance. Like the alleged victim, Lewis is 18 and is being charged as an adult after a nearly month-long investigation by Pickerington Police.
The victim has been described only as a fellow Pickerington High student. She alleges she was raped both in December 2011 and again on Jan. 6.
On Tuesday night, Lewis was being held on $250,000 bond at Fairfield County Jail and was expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.

That's a long ways (at least metaphorically speaking) from the signing day ceremony he was expected to attend at Pickerington Central, where Lewis was expected to choose between scholarship offers from Ohio University, Marshall and Bowling Green. The wide receiver prospect also holds scholarship offers from 14 other schools, including the likes of Ohio State, West Virginia and Arizona, stacking up well against a number of other top wide receiver recruits who made their college decisions on Wednesday.
The piece at Alternative Right is one that is a glimpse of the larger chapter. Soon, I'll post a glimpse of the chapter on college football coaches who helped paved the way for Black-Run America (BRA). Sports - especially college football and basketball - provide the primary basis for the creation of positive images of Black people, through the hero worship of these athletes.

Well, there's one reason for this, and you can read about it in (Meat) Market Failure: Recruiting, Genetics, and the White Athlete:
It’s with this thought in mind that we point out that of the top 100 Scout and Rivals high- school prospects (and those players selected to the play in the prestigious Under Armour All-American game, almost 90 percent of them are Black athletes.
Why is this?
Former Auburn University coach Pat Dye wrote in his autobiography, In the Arena—interestingly written, in part, as a response to allegations of racism from Black recruit Eric Ramsey—this about Black athletes:

Another thing I found, I already knew: we live in an age, and it will probably last forever, where the black kids in this region make the difference in football. If there are 10 college prospects in Alabama, seven are gonna be black.
Looking at the current rosters of Auburn and Alabama, Dye’s comment seems to hold true. Both schools boast overwhelmingly White student populations, but both have a disproportionate amount of Black athletes (to the general Black male populations of the school). This holds true for most major schools.
Remember that Rivals and Scout start to evaluate talent as early as the freshmen and sophomore year of high school player, providing star ratings to young men still developing and maturing. Or are they?
In Jon Entine now-classic study Taboo: Why Black Athletes Dominate Sports and Why We’re Afraid to Talk About It, he spends the majority of tome talking about why Blacks are better athletes than whites. In passing he notes, curiously:

It’s hardly an irrational leap to suspect that precocious infants will end up as athletically skilled adults, however. Blacks and white do develop different body types at an early age. Numerous studies have found that by age five or six black children consistently excel in the dash, the long jump, and the high jump, all of which require a short burst. By the time boys are teenagers, blacks demonstrate a significantly faster patellar tendon reflex time—the knee jerk response—and an edge in reaction time over whites.
Put simply, Black athletes mature faster than White athletes. In Race, Evolution, and Behavior: A Life History Perspective, J. Phillippe Rushton includes a chapter on Speed of Maturation, which points out that study after study concludes Black people go through puberty well before white people, reaching full sexual maturity at astonishingly young ages. Could this be the reason former Florida State football coach made this remark regarding the paucity of White high-school talent?:

An athlete is an athlete, but, dang it, there just seem to be more black athletes than white," says Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden. "We've got a [white] phenomenon on our team, a quarterback named Danny Kendra, whose vertical jump is 39½ inches—more than anybody else we've got. He bench-presses 425 pounds, and his leg press broke the school record. He runs a 4.5 40. But there ain't many like him. And my thinking is that there's a whole lot more blacks who can do that than white guys.
Why does this matter? Why mention race at all in a discussion of college football recruiting?
Mike Freeman’s Bowden: How Bobby Bowden Forged a Football Dynasty provides the answer. His chapter Law and Order establishes that the majority of the at-risk students that college-football programs recruit are these Black athletes who have matured physically faster than white athletes, though their mental acumen will forever see a gap remain (as noted by graduation rate racial disparities, despite the same amount of tutoring). Bowden built his reputation, like that of Penn State’s Joe Paterno, on the backs of academically challenged, athletically gifted Black athletes.
This presents a problem: though athletically gifted (thanks to a genetic clock that allows them to mature faster), Black athletes perform inadequately in the classroom. Many boast embarrassingly poor high-school GPAs and standardized-test scores and require special admission to be enrolled into the schools like Florida or Florida State. Though the white athletes being evaluated at Scout and Rivals haven’t reached physical maturity, they perform far better on the academic side of the ball. This is one of the primary reasons the U.S. Military Academies (Army, Navy, and Air Force) have remained so White, when most other big-time college football programs field majority Black teams: put simply, potential Black recruits don’t have the intelligence to get accepted or complete the work once enrolled at these schools.
So the question must be asked: Is there a bias at the big-time college football programs toward Black athletes, since the recruiting services have started evaluating players at ages when the early physical maturation of Blacks give them a pronounced advantage over White players? Well, yes there is.
Tom Lemming, one of the pioneers of evaluating high school football talent, told Michael Lewis in his book The Blind Side that White high-school athletes were discriminated against by college scouts and coaches because they couldn't possibly be as a fast as black athletes. He said the same thing to The Chicago Sun Times, By Taylor Bell; he said the same thing to the South Bend Tribune.
Consider that two of the top receivers in the National Football League (NFL), the Green Bay Packers Jordy Nelson and the New England Patriot’s Wes Welker, went virtually un- recruited out of high school. Welker—who was Oklahoma’s High School Player of the Year his senior season—got a scholarship to Texas Tech. Nelson had to walk-on at Kansas State. Both are White athletes.
Consider that arguably the best linebacker in the NFL, the Packer’s Clay Matthews, was a walk-on at the University of Southern California and didn’t even see the field until his senior year. In the October 2011 issue of Muscle and Fitness magazine, Matthews let slip a crucial point:

There’s this kid you know. A high school senior. Plays football hard, but he’s nothing special on the field. He’s around six feet in cleats, maybe tops out at 200 pounds after dinner, and he’s neither fast enough to be anyone’s idea of a bit-time, blue-chip prospect.
“I knew I wanted to play at USC from when I was a kid,” he [Matthews said, though he’d have to walk-on for this dream to occur] said.
“I told him to go for it,” says Charlie Wegher, who’s coached football at Agoura High for the past 18 years, “but honestly, I didn’t think he’d get a chance to play much because USC doesn’t typically have those kinds of kids.”
So Matthews wasn’t a Rivals or Scout “Five Star” athlete, a “can’t miss” prospect with an NFL-ready future stamped on him before he even played a down of college football, like the many high-school athletes who will be signing with big-time colleges and universities around the nation today.
He was one of “those kinds of kids.” Meaning one of those often overlooked White kids from the suburbs who hasn’t physically matured yet, at least compared to the seemingly extra-ordinary Black athletes that Rivals and Scout have evaluated as the top talent of the 2012 high school crop.
Something tells me there is a market for undervalued White players that aren’t highly sought after commodities by the big-time schools only on the prowl for academically marginal Black athletes to use and abuse for football glory.
Knowing that the New England Patriots Bill Belichick has built a franchise based around undervalued White talent, the smaller college football programs, without massive budgets to spend on hyped high-school athletes, and which hope to keep up with the Michigans, Oregons, LSUs should start considering cultivating White athletic talent that has been overlooked by recruiting services in favor of the low-hanging fruit we should just call “Darwin’s Athlete’s.”
For one thing, signing undervalued White high school talent will require less of an investment in academics and an even less amount of money to pay for their unnecessary legal teams (consider the high rate of arrests for Black players at UGA, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Penn State).
Another thing, if you’re a fan or alumni of one of these schools, you can spend less time on one of the recruiting services like Rivals or Scout, which has gone “all in” on the belief in Black athletic supremacy—truly, one of the most common “social constructs” of our time.
Until a service comes along to evaluate undervalued White players, you have to wonder how many talented suburban players or fly-over country athletes (like Welker and Nelson were) aren’t being courted by big-time schools tomorrow. How many potential NFL linebackers like Matthews, who haven’t physically matured yet, are out there and devoid of a scholarship offer? All because they are one of “those kinds of kids?” Not one of Darwin’s Athletes. Just some white kid.
As Tom Lemming said, “hundreds.”
This article doesn't touch on Brigham Young, a school that has traditionally recruited white Mormon athletes and molded them into winners. The same could be said for the recent emergence of Boise State, a school that this year started an all-white receiving corps that were lightly-recruited by other schools.

If Rick Reilly can complain about Brigham Young being able to play white athletes (the majority of whom are two or three star players) who have completed their Mormon Mission (two years) and then play football when nature has allowed their bodies to mature, then we at SBPDL can bring up the fact that these Black athletes have nature on their side, momentarily, which creates a competitive advantage over potential white high school recruits.

Looking at Scout.com and its listing of Top 25 schools recruiting classes, you begin to understand why so many "conservative" white people tolerate the destruction of their major cities and will continually move their families from one Whitopia to the next "drifter colony"-- because those major cities serve as incubators for the Black athletes who will provide them some grotesque form of sexual relief come National Signing Day.

On Saturday, Vdare.com will publish an article on the New England Patriots. It's going to be fun. Bill Belichick, the coach of the Patriots, once addressed Urban Meyer's Florida Gator team (story from Urban's Way: Urban Meyer, the Florida Gators, and his Plan to Win).

Meyer believed that only recruiting four and five-star recruits could provide the tools necessary to win. In his statement to the Gators team (spring 2007), that was largely addressed to the new - almost exclusively Black - recruits, Belichick said, "Some of you woke up on third base and don't even know how you there because you did not hit the triple."

That quote tells me more about Belichick then I'll ever need to know. He is aware that these Black athletes were treated as Gods in high school, and played against competition that they had largely matured ahead of, which enabled them to get the five-star ranking from Rivals and Scout.

Take a look at Belichick's team. How many of the key players on the Patriots offense were highly recruited athletes?

Now, how many of those four and five-star Black athletes ended up causing Florida severe off-field problems?:

Numbers mostly flatter Florida football coach Urban Meyer, who has produced two Southeastern Conference championships, three Bowl Championship Series appearances and a couple of national titles in his five-plus years in Gainesville.
Saturday against Kentucky, he figures to get his 100th career victory — in his 118th game, reaching the milestone faster than all but five Hall of Fame coaches, including Bud Wilkinson and Knute Rockne.
But another statistic is more bedeviling: at least 31 off-the-field arrests involving 25 of Meyer's players dating to the summer of 2005, according to a running count by the Orlando Sentinel. Many have been typical college-years brushes with the law, from alcohol possession to disorderly conduct. But a dozen involved initial charges of felonies or violent misdemeanors, and the run of incidents has shared front-page space with Florida's on-the-field accomplishments and invited pointed questions about the program's virtue.

After Florida receiver Chris Rainey was booked last week on a felony charge of aggravated stalking — for allegedly sending an ex-girlfriend a threatening text message — Orlando columnist Mike Bianchi wrote, "Sadly, this outlaw reputation is now the national image of the Florida Gators."

He added, "Tim Tebow is no longer around to clean up the mess."
No, Tebow is not around to clean up the mess. But its not a mess Floridian's really care about, as long as the Gators win.
