Oprah's Last Show: There Goes Our Mammy!

"Empty Oprah Syndrome" will be hard to kick!
One could cogently argue that without Oprah Winfrey the entire concept of Black-Run America (BRA) would be devoid of its most influential pitch-man (woman for our ever progressive 2011 audience). That no TV personality can replace Oprah is a sign of the monster that has been created and the void that will be felt when she leaves on May 25.

What Billy Mays was to OxiClean, Oprah has been to BRA. And with her final show airing today, one can't help but consider what we are losing (an in-depth look at the Oprah Winfrey Network - OWN - is coming tomorrow).

Thegrio.com wrote this about one of the only Black Billionaires (the founder of BET was once one, but he lost that ranking in a series of bad investments and blamed the citizens of Charlotte for his misfortune):
Television programming would be different in a world without Oprah Winfrey. Before she came on the scene, there were assumptions concerning what a television show host was supposed to look like. She broke barriers, and served as a living example to African-Americans, women and others that you can succeed in a world where you do not necessarily fit the mold.

"Nobody had ever seen anybody like me," she told the Chicago Tribune of her early years in broadcasting at WLS-Channel 7 in the early 1980s. "They just couldn't figure it out. I wasn't pretty. I wasn't even slim. I didn't sing. I had no qualities that anybody could understand."

Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) women swear by Oprah, a woman who admitted she had no qualities that anybody could understand. Though her ratings have fallen since she endorsed Mein Obama (and the OWN Network is in horrible conditions), this demographic breakdown is a good indicator of the audience that Oprah has enjoyed over her 25 career:

Oprah's audience is predominantly female, white, and over the age of 55. Nationally 7.4 million people watch Oprah daily -- about 2.6% of American households. Four percent of American women (about 5.7 million) watch her daily, compared with 1.2% of men (1.7 million people). Overall, 2% of all 18- to 49-year-olds watch Oprah.

Oprah has the highest ratings among older Americans -– a critical caucusing or voting block. 3.7 million people age 55 and older watch Oprah, and 2.7 million of these individuals are women. Eleven percent of all older black women watch Oprah, and 7% of all older white women watch the show everyday.
Oprah's audience is also predominantly white: 5.9 million of whites watch Oprah, compared with 1.4 million blacks. Her reach among the Hispanic population is tiny -- only about 230,000 Hispanics watch the show daily.
When trying to research what made Oprah such an endearing figure, we came across this Time article from 2007:
Search term data also reveals the most popular topics for Winfrey's demographic. After searches on Oprah's name, by far the most popular query sending visits to her site was the term "the secret," referring to a self-help book by February 8, 2007 guest Rhonda Byrne. The Secret, which has been on the bestseller list for 16 weeks since being featured on Oprah, argues that all you need to do to change anything in your life is to visualize that change.

While The Secret has been criticized as a collection of self-help clichés that oversimplify the path to self improvement, the juxtaposition of Oprah's promotional power with the concept that you can create your own reality by simply thinking it creates an interesting scenario: want to become the next President of the United States? Here's the prescription, simply visualize yourself as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Visualize success? That's the secret to success in life? Actually, the SBPDL secret to success is being in the right place, at the right time and capitalizing on that opportunity. Twenty-five years ago, Oprah did just that and created an empire in the process.

Some writer for The Huffington Post wrote about her experience taking her mother to Oprah and the near religious experience the opportunity afforded her. One clown tried to score tickets to the last Oprah taping and resorted to Liar Liar tactics in a failed attempt to garner sympathy and ultimately be entitled to seeing his Goddess one last time:
Tickets to Oprah’s farewell spectacular were pretty hard to come by—so one Canadian man beat himself up in an attempt to score some. Robert Spearing, 44, told police that two men beat him up and stole his tickets to Tuesday’s show. But he later admitted that he’d actually used a rock to cut his own forehead and scraped his hands on the sidewalk, NBC Chicago reports. Spearing and his wife had come from Ontario without tickets, and he told cops he didn’t want his wife to be angry with him. Instead of seeing Oprah, he was charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report and spent a night in jail, Chicago Breaking News reports.

Let's be honest as to what Oprah Winfrey represents; a late-20th and 21st century Hattie McDaniel figure. Oprah is nothing more than an inoffensive update of Mammy from Gone With the Wind, an innocuous Black woman that represents the only colored-woman that most white women encounter in their lives.

Oprah's probably the only Black woman tolerated in most white families households, and that she comes via the television makes it that much easier to enjoy "The Mammy" experience. Remembering that McDaniel stated later that:
As the 1940s progressed, the servant roles McDaniel and other African American performers had so frequently played were subjected to increasingly strong criticism by groups such as the NAACP. In response to the NAACP's criticism, McDaniel replied, "I'd rather play a maid and make $700 a week than be one for $7."

This quote gives you an appreciation for what Oprah represents, as she her show was an outlet for emotions and getting in touch with your feelings. Watching Oprah was much cheaper than getting therapy from a trained psychologist.

More importantly watching vapid stars such as obvious homosexuals like John Travolta and Tom Cruise share candid moments on the set of Oprah's Chicago show allowed her predominately white audience the opportunity to live vicariously through her.

Oprah is nothing more than a well-compensated Mammy, who became one of the best examples of a Black Fictional Hero through the careful and skillful manipulation of the television audience. Thegrio.com wrote this about Oprah:

If Oprah never existed, psychology would not be as accessible to the public. The key to Oprah's success has been in her ability to capitalize on a "confession culture" in which people bear their souls to the public. Oprah is credited by many for creating the public space that allows people to "tell all" on a range of personal matters that were once shrouded in secrecy and considered taboo, including sexual abuse. For good or for bad, she was the trailblazer when it came to giving public figures and celebrities a forum to express their feelings in front of a prime-time audience. And that is Oprah's enduring legacy to popular culture.

Moreover, with Oprah sharing her own personal travails regarding abuse, relationships, body image and other issues on the TV screen, she has shown by example that you can "come clean" without fear of stigmatization or criticism.
We at SBPDL might be in minority, but who cares what celebrities think? Who care about "tell all" moments from celebrities who are merely famous for "being famous?" That she was able to build up a massive audience, launch a magazine that features her oscillating from kind-of healthy to borderline fat face on every issue, and create other media is a testament to the beauty of the democratization of media.

Oprah and her show represents the apex of Black-Run America. The personification of a "Mammy" figure, Oprah was able to create or break individuals with the simplest of endorsements or negative assessments. Her audience ate up her every word, because she represented their modern-day "Mammy."

What's fitting is that her ultimate creation, Oprah's Frankenstein monster if you will, might represent the individual who brings BRA down to its knees. That creation is, of course, Mein Obama. When you consider the BRA-approved celebrities that will be seen on Oprah's last show, you begin to realize that BRA's influence has reached its apex:
Oprah Winfrey wiped away tears as celebrity after celebrity surprised her during a farewell double-episode taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that will precede her finale.

"Thank you is not enough, but thank you," Winfrey told the crowd of 13,000 gathered at Chicago's United Center on Tuesday night for "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular." ''For your love and your support, thank you."

The crowd gave Winfrey a standing ovation when she first walked on the stage. Then the stars came out, with Winfrey's producers making good on their promise of the biggest celebrities of movies, music and television.

Aretha Franklin sang "Amazing Grace." Tom Hanks acted as host for the evening.
Michael Jordan, who led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships during the 1990s, told Winfrey she inspires him. Tom Cruise, famous for his couch jumping on Winfrey's show, was there. Jerry Seinfeld wore a tuxedo to give a comedy routine. And Madonna said she is among the millions of people who are inspired by Winfrey.

"She fights for things she believes in, even if it makes her unpopular," Madonna said.

Winfrey announced in November 2009 that she would end her popular talk show after 25 years. Tuesday's taping will air May 23 and 24, before Winfrey's final show on May 25.

"You always had the power, and that is the message you brought into our lives," Cruise told Winfrey.

The show highlighted Winfrey's charity efforts over the years. About 300 Morehouse College scholarship students walked along the United Center aisles as Kristen Chenoweth sang "For Good" from the musical "Wicked." Grammy winner John Legend was beamed in from a New Orleans school and Winfrey's book club was lauded for getting millions to read.

Josh Groban and Patti LaBelle sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as Winfrey sat in a white chair onstage. Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder sang "Isn't She Lovely" to Winfrey. Wonder followed with his own song, singing to her, "Oprah thank you for using your gifts to uplift so many hearts." Simon Cowell made an appearance; Rosie O'Donnell sang a Broadway-style song.

Winfrey's longtime partner, Stedman Graham, introduced Franklin after telling Winfrey he loved her and was proud of her.

"It really does amaze me that I get to be around a woman who changes people's lives every day and who also takes her own lunch to work," Graham told the crowd. "You know what really is amazing? You have done this, sweetheart, through all of the sacrifices you've made, humility you have and through God's amazing grace."

That's when Franklin took the stage in a one-shouldered white gown to sing "Amazing Grace." She later joined Usher for the show's finale song, "Oh Happy Day," as sparkly confetti filled the arena.

Maria Shriver, the TV journalist and Kennedy heiress, appeared on the same day it was revealed her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, fathered a child with a woman on his household staff more than a decade ago. Shriver did not mention her husband during the taping.

"You have given me love, support, wisdom and most of all the truth," Shriver told Winfrey. "And I know I'm not alone in receiving those gifts from you."

The taping of the second show began with Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who thanked Winfrey and told her she mothered millions and "that puts you in the status of a goddess."

Actresses Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes and Dakota Fanning all appeared, along with newswoman Diane Sawyer.

Beyonce sang her song "Run the World (Girls)" backed by dozens of dancers. Rascal Flatts performed too.
"Oprah Winfrey, because of you women everywhere have graduated to a new level of understanding of who we are, of what we are and most of all who we can be," Beyonce said.
Of what value have any of the aforementioned people brought your life? Validation for living?

So here's to Oprah Winfrey and her last show on network television. That the OWN network is failing is of little concern, but what we care about is that millions of white women throughout America are about to lose the only Black friend they had.

Their "Mammy." Their Oprah.

That some people might suffer from "Empty Oprah Syndrome" is a sign that another "Mammy" must be manufactured ASAP!

"...an innocuous Black woman that represents the only colored-woman that most white women encounter in their lives."

So true, SBPDL. We encounter so many types of these women in our everyday lives, thanks to BRA and the government hiring programs. Bus drivers, post office clerks, security guards, the Pine Sol lady, and the list goes on. They sass us, put us in our place, fix us up, and then teach us a few lessons as they shower us with simple noble wisdom.

When I was a young girl living in a big house, my mother hired an old black woman named Barbara as a maid. She was at least 65, and was working so that she could pay for dentures. She had long skirts, rolled down stockings, an Aunt Jemima head scarf, was quite sassy, and had no teeth. She had a bit old cotton mop with an old fashioned ringer bucket, and yes, she used Pine Sol. She called my mother "Miss Betty", and hummed gospel while she worked. She had quite an act! She made my DWL mother feel warm and cozy inside, being the only black woman she encountered on a daily basis. I have to admit, at 10 years old, she made me feel good inside too.

It was fun while it lasted, but as predicted, Barbara started shaking her cup, begging for advances on her check and many other things and my mother fired her.

Oprah is a token black to most white women. Her white viewers really cannot relate to her at all, but Oprah offers them a censored peek inside the black world, something they don't mind getting from the safety of their living rooms. Oprah gently scolds them and then lovingly forgives their inherent racist attitudes, then teaches them how to be more open and tolerant.

I am sure Oprah and her partner Gayle laugh at the silliness and gullibility of white people, as all blacks do in private.

Paul,
I just do not know what to do... last day for OPERAH? I was discussing this problem with staff and patients and we came up with the perfect new hostess, assuming that her husband is out of a job in 18 months of course, but "The Michele Obama Show" would be awesome!

Like anyone with half a brain is going to miss her fat ass. Her show getting canceled is just another another sign of the decline of BRA.

From Wikipedia.

"During its first week after launch in January 2011, OWN was watched by an average of 505,000 viewers. In February 2011, viewership fell to an average of 135,000, with about 45,000 viewers in the network's target 25-54 year-old female demographic."

I christen her the titanic. Now under estimate and drown Oprah. Her first show aired on September 8, 1986. At a time where being the liberal was the norm. She is also a racist. Saying Obama was "the one" just because he was black. Saying "Oh,.....I don't care about no white girls" when she opened a school in Africa. It's unusual that she hates the very people she depends on.

I'm with you SBPDL, who could really give a rats tiny @$$ what any celebrities think, except the GDP-that's the generally dumb public.

Oprah's minions are nothing but a cult of personality and she's their adoring, black, token sister. I never have understood why people would want to air their dirty laundry to the whole wide world; this woman's made a pretty handsome living at it.

She just proves that America is a psychotic nation...pass the anti-depressants please.

I'm sure that psychologists are already formulating post-Oprah concoctions and remedies for the inevitable withdrawal symptoms.

Opraholism? Opraholics? Oprahaddicts?

How about just shallow, easily influenced knuckle-heads...Yea! That's the ticket.

Race aside, why the double standard? Men are called pigs and perverts when they have affairs. Why has Oprah suffered no puritanical backlash?

My husband says that Oprah is quite unsexy, unwomanly, sexually non-threatening, and appears to be celibate. She has very unfeminine mannerisms, is a feminist, has a deep voice, and rejects marriage and childbearing. I honestly can't imagine her having sex with anyone, male or female. John Tesh? Not sure about this.

Isn't this sexual neutrality a characteristic part of the whole "Mammy" archetype?

Anonymous said...

"The mammy archetype is perhaps one of the best-known archetypes of African American women. She is often portrayed within a narrative framework or other imagery of a domestic servant of African descent, generally good-natured, often overweight, and loud. The mammy was usually depicted in a negative manner: dark skinned to the point that she is almost pitch black, obese to the point that sometimes she is morbidly overweight, and old to the point that she is at least middle aged.

The mammy was portrayed to as lacking all of the sensual and sexual qualities that an attractive woman would have. This de-eroticism of the mammy would in turn imply that the white wife, and by extension the white family, was safe."

Sounds like modern day black women to me.

She could tow of those things mentioned at the same time. Play for the Bills and unretire like Brett Favre. Two stories in the one.

I've stated for years that DWL's want a mammy because it affirms their faith in the brotha man (regardless of his behavior), with the mammy acting as black ambassador, proving the innate goodness of black people. Aretha Franklin serves this role in the music world and Oprah has become one of the most powerful women in the world (kingmaker of Obama, global population control conferences, billionairess...) by being one to the mostly white middle-class women of North America.

My mom loved her. I remember when i was younger she had a show about a therapy program where men apologized to crying traumatized women they didn't know on behalf of their entire gender.Literally-It would dissolve into group hugs & much womanly wailing. I will never forget that episode, it kinda crystallizes so perfectly what my childhood was like but which i could never quite put my finger on when i was actually living through it.

And coming onto primetime to spew the sordid details of your private life is not an social improvement in any way, just our society further jettisoning its remaining vestiges of self respect for the full Roman coliseum experience. Oprah was the dignified, hypocritical side of the Jerry Springer daytime TV coin, hiding behind trappings of faux spirituality & sophistication but doing basically the same thing. Her show personified the shallow holier-than-thou attitudes of liberals pretending to examine social issues while actually parading them like freakshows so everyone could pat themselves on the back for how evolved & enlightened they were. There was a real creepy sort of cult like attonement thing going on with that crowd sometimes, it provided a pseudo community for like minded sophists while in real life the same thoughtless women dismantled their actual ones.

Typically, now that that kind of cognitive dissonance is becoming impossible to uphold any longer as Amerika sinks into squalor, O makes a split for it.
Take the money & run.
I'd love a talkshow that examines the O phenomon of unexamined, hypocritical soccer mom life & takes her to task for sinking public discourse to new all-time lows but alas, Amerikans are too far gone. They will do everything humanly possible to stop from really looking at themselves in the mirror, especially the O(vary) cult.

As a woman I always found Oprah and the dreck she provided to put we ladies in a very bad light. I am nothing like these women and I just cannot relate.

I blame the birth of the genre on the Godfather of DWL's, that white haired dude with the speech impediment, Phil Donahue. Yikes!

I know I'm dating myself with the Donahue reference, but you can trace the roots of this horrid entertainment vehicle, and its appeal to women, right back to his door step.

At the end of the day it is nothing more than a cult of victimology, so it is no surprise that a big, black woman took the ball from Phil, the ball-less wonder, and ran with it all the way to the bank.

Why are so many women so eager to be victims?

Taking all this into account, it is no wonder that blacks and women were the biggest supporters of Obama, the high priest of the church of victimhood.

For a Negro, Oprah Winfrey is definitely at the top. If all blacks were like Oprah, there would be no point of having a site like this! She speaks English, she's hard-working, she gets along with whites, she's unthreatening... what is not to like about Oprah?

If white women had to follow any black, Oprah is the best choice.

You have to wonder why the Mammy character has persisted. The only people who have a problem with black female sexuality is white women. White men definitely aren't afraid of it but they will always stand up for their woman and assuage her fears and insecurities. A Mammy (or de-emphasizing the raw, nasty sexiness of the black woman, in general) is the right "black woman" for the job.

As long as black woman = mammy, or any derivative, the happier white women will be. I think that's Oprah's appeal. No white guy is scoping Oprah. She's not my type either but I thought her figure looked better than usual this last episode, kind of like a fertility goddess.

The Daley Dynasty ensures that Chicago stays more corrupt than 19th Century Tammany Hall. That's what people always seem to forget about Obama, that he's not from Chicago. He stared at a Rand McNaly map and picked the most corrupt spot in America as a launching pad.

Most are mulatto gay males, not mostly or pure black.A lot of gays that are Afro-descended are actually fairly-light caramael colored mulattos with less than 75% African genes.

I know because I had a Hispanic mulatto(Cuban+Colombian descent, and also claims he has a drop of Asian as well as Amerindian) English professor in college that was gay.Even though I don't approve of homosexuality,I don't care too much about it because it's not harming me in any way.

True,a lot of white women of wealthy slave owners either had to make their husband happy or risk him straying for the black female slave(s).

If Oprah gave me the chance to date her,I would. It's obvious, white men would want to date her too. She's not too bad looking and has a great personality. Now I wouldn't agree with her political views.

She should have invited conservative SDWLDL(Stuff Disingenous White Liberals Don't Like) Cynthia Mckinney instead of Obama.

Black Dude,

You cannot be serious!?! Let me assure you, as a white women of long standing, the only "problem" that I would find with the sexuality of a black woman, is in the extreme vulgarity of said sexuality.

What a ridiculous assertion, but an oft repeated fallacy. Do not fool yourself, white women, such as myself, that possess refined european physicality and a comportment befitting a person with self-respect feel nothing but revulsion at the typical black woman.

Before my enlightenment I might have felt some pity for black women, given there position at the very bottom of the societal barrel, but those days are over. No self-respecting white woman would desire to possess the coarse and caricatured features of a negress. Please!

As for the "sexuality" of black women, only a black dude thinks there is anything there to desire, unless you equate sexuality with rutting around like a farm animal.

No, no Black dude, your black lady friends just tell themselves that "they jealous".

The day I wish to have unrefined facial features and oversized body parts that I then adorn with garish and trashy clothing, inch long toe nails and the smell of a construction worker I hope that someone shoots me.

http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/153466/20110527/oprah-oprah-winfrey-show-final-episode-breaks-records-ratings.htm

Oprah's final show broke a record from 1994. I thought this was funny:

"According to The Wrap, the episode "received a 13.3 household rating in overnight metered markets, its best rating since the 13.4 for a February 21, 1994 episode titled 'People Shed Their Disguises.'"

It will take approximately two weeks to tally the total number of viewers.

In the 1994 shedding disguises episode, Oprah featured people where were letting go of different methods that altered their appearance. For example, she featured a make-up addict who was trying to use less, as well as a man saying goodbye to his toupee, according to The Wrap."

That's all people in America do now is wear disguises. Outwardly everything is fine, but inwardly, most people know something is horribly wrong in America.

missbosslady,

I gave you the response I thought you deserved. You didn't like it? I only date black women but I have dated white women as a younger guy. I'm sure by that statement some insecure white folks will say those white women had something wrong with them or were ugly.

Feel free to believe that but when I was dating these white girls, I was in my 20s and wouldn't touch "tore up" women with a 10ft pole because everyone wanted to be a mack and have beautiful women on their arm, black and white.

The interesting thing about it is WITHOUT FAIL every one of those white girls would ask how they compare to black girls. I'm not saying they constantly thought how they compared but this is a common feature of interracial dating.

What I am saying is that these white girls - and I had many in my 20s - still were in this headspace of trying to look better than black women. And if you say "You're doing okay" it's like a blow!

White women are very insecure. That's my dating experience, anyway. As a result, now that I am a little older, I only want black women. A black man should be with a black woman, period.

For this reason, it's crazy to me the white women under this blog would comment on the way black women look and talk about their sexuality. I thought this was only with white girls who dated black guys. To see it coming from this wing where white people stay with their own kind is a testament to the beauty and power of the black female. Just under another blog on this site you had a white woman dissing a black woman because she's smart and beautiful. Like what the hell?

You shouldn't even think about black females - they shouldn't even be in your mouth! - but here you, as a white woman, are talking about them. The main people dissing Michelle Obama's look on political blogs are white women.

That's why we have these extremes to characterize black females: Mammy or Big-bootied slut. The second one may be relegated to the bottom of the barrel and seen as nothing but a toy but what I'm saying is she can shake her thang and anyone'll look and be interested.

This is man stuff.

Let me assure you, that being more evolved is not a source of insecurity.

You don't see how you are SHOWING your insecurity in that? Taking her humanity away? We are all "evolved."

I'll give you $100 for every white woman that you find that wishes she was born into the lowest rung of the societal ladder.

Ha, NO woman wants to he at the lowest rung, definitely not black women. If you are talking about white girls wanting to be black girls, I can make a grip on that wager. My cousin is married to one. And, no, this chick is not ugly, fat, or a slut. She's just a "wigger."

SBPDL,

White guys don't want the "big-booty slut."

You must live in a damn bubble! White guys definitely won't wife her, I'll give you that NO MAN should wife the big-bootied slut, but they will do her because she looks damn good. White women know this. Women only think about one thing: "Is she prettier than me?" If a girl is ugly, she won't care if you hang with her. A big-bootied slut always looks good so there has to be something else that they can throw out. It's why they've went to the Mammy character.

Too sexy to the point of animalism or a sexless beast. Where's the actual, flesh-n-bone black woman in that? These characterizations are all rooted in insecurity.

To get back to the point: you either don't live in the real world or all of the guys you hang out with are lying to you. I think it's both.

Anonymous,

Trust me, you are clueless

I happen to live in the real world.

and probably NOT a man.

I am a man both sexually and spiritually. I can be real and say black people got a lot of sexual men but not spiritual men.

Of all races/ethnicities, black women are the LEAST likely to be married. Even black men don't want black women, they just impregnate them, then leave.

Number 1, all of that statistics crap has nothing to do with black women, but black men. Women want to get married more than guys regardless of color. There's just a lot of brothers who need to get it together. Number 2, all black men like black women.

Some more than others, such as myself. A white woman can't compare to a black woman. Say what you will about that but I am set in my ways and I could never want a white woman. I've had them. They are not for me.

I don't know why white people want black guys to like white girls and it's always the racists, the ones who say they aren't interested in black folks, that talk about black appearance/sexuality. You gotta wonder why. The most logical explanation is insecurity.

This is weird. Maybe the first part got spammed. I'll repost it. I think I was hitting some good points in that one...

missbosslady,

I gave you the response I thought you deserved. You didn't like it? I primarily date black women but I have dated white women.

PROTIP: "They're just jealous of you" is just something your mom tells you when you're six, to protect your precious little feelings. It isn't actually true.

You obviously don't know many white women, so let me break this down for you. No one's "insecure" about this. Some people just like to comment on the grotesque things they see in day-to-day life. It amuses them the same way a circus sideshow with an elephant man and a geek act would.

It's hard to not be fascinated by grotesque public display of sexuality, especially when the woman is fat and unattractive. It's a visual irony, with a side of hilarity. Think Anna Nicole Smith: the reality show years. It's nauseating, but oddly compelling - like a bloody car crash or train wreck.

Your whole "culture" is a train wreck, at best. The LAST emotion it inspires is "insecurity." But it is a barrel of laughs, though, so keep up the good work!

Thanks,
-White Girls of America

"White guys definitely won't wife her"

Exactly. Black guys won't "wife her" either.

"Women want to get married more than guys regardless of color."

LOL No shit, Sherlock. But the point is...men of all races are not interested in marrying black women.

So instead of simply repeating your baseless claim over and over again, please provide actual evidence.

If you are incapable of providing evidence, please be honest enough to say so, thank you.

"Black Dude" uses phrasing that is identical to Diarrhea's (and Snape's), plus he shares her bizarre obsession of white-on-black interracial attraction, not to mention her annoying habit of offering unsolicited personal tastes.

Congratulations "Black Dude", you are a carbon-copy of our most reviled troll. What a coincidence.

All women are insecure, but it's definitely NOT because of black women. I don't think any non-black woman fears having her man leave her for a black woman.

Well, I had explained my position in a previous comment that has still not made it through. It was 2 parts, so it could've got cut off.

I know plenty of white women, but only from dating experience. This is what I had posted earlier to "missbosslady's" comment to me to hound on the point:

I primarily date black women but I have dated white women. I'm sure by that statement some insecure white folks will say those white women had something wrong with them or were ugly.

I have no idea what you're talking about but I am not into white women so the "obsession" thing is backward.

"The most logical explanation is insecurity. "

Or maybe it's just a repulsion to what we perceive to be an attack on our way of life, our civilization, our women and our lifestyle as white Americans?

Could that be what it is Black Dude? I mean, it's not like whites aren't working harder for less all the time. It's not like we whites aren't putting in our 60-hour work weeks to see our tax money go to ungrateful blacks and illegal-immigrants. Not like we don't feel as if everything that we've worked so hard to achieve is being systematically destroyed, broken, trampled under foot!

Maybe you think that's insecurity, but I think it's just a natural reaction to the injustice of oppression. The oppression of having our own governmental agencies allied against us; our own culture being turned into a ghetto nightmare, and our futures being jettisoned at the notion political correctness.

I hate what this countries become. My ancestors didn't die for this nightmare, that's now called Amerika! This is not my country any longer, this country belongs to rogues, thieves, men of no honor, nor conscience.

This is not the Amerika that I grew up in.

"I know plenty of white women, but only from dating experience."

In other words, you dated women who are neurotic & emotionally messed up, so you think you know all about those of us who aren't. Face it: healthy white women wouldn't go out with you, so your knowledge of them (us) is very limited.

I'm repulsed by the revealing picture of a black woman from "Black Dude". Are Africans more crazingly sexually besides being low IQ?

Anonymous,

Couldn't I say the same thing about your knowledge of black women and men? because I know you don't know ANY black people personally. What an ignorant ass statement!

I don't mean to be rude but I expected an answer like this. I can freely admit not "knowing" all white women. I've never said I did. My knowledge of white women are from the ones I've dated and the ones I tried to establish relationships with when I was in my 20s.

I am sure my experience is limited but I got to admit here: I think you or any white woman who'd be on a site like this are at the other extreme.

To me, the white women I dated didn't seem messed up. They dressed well, fixed their hair, had jobs/were in college. I've dated girls with messed up heads and if the white girls I was with were some of those girls I never realized it! The comparison thing is something that I thought all women did so I don't see how white girls comparing themselves to black girls was all that strange. But you clearly think by me saying that they compared themselves to black girls there'd have to be something mentally/emotionally wrong with them.

I don't agree with that. I actually think it's ass backwards. Normal women would compare themselves to other women without a color exception. If a beautiful woman is black, white, I would expect any woman to want to emulate them. I actually think you are the strange one with that.

But my point is two-fold. Number 1, any time you date interracially and you bring someone of a different color into your world, they will compare themselves to your women or your men. This is the rule, not the exception; you can get into crazy shit messing across the color lines, which is why I don't do it anymore. Number 2, which was my original point, it's odd to me that white women like you or any other white woman on this site would go so hard on black women's looks and their sexuality when you claim that you're only interested in other white folks.

I'll repeat it again: it's insecurity or what we call "hating." The men who obsess over black male sexuality are always the same types posting on sites like this. It's insecurity. For all of the "We're healthy and superior," bullshit, it's a lot of time wasted on something you supposedly don't give a damn about. Has to be a reason for it and the simplest explanation is insecurity. All other excuses aren't adding up to me.

I don't date white women because I like black women. I'm not saying I'm such a separatist that I'd date Oprah Winfrey, no doubt a good woman, over a hot white girl, but I'd ALWAYS drop the "hottest white girl" for Rhianna, Beyonce and every member who's ever been in Destiny's Child, Gabrielle Union, Janet Jackson, Tyra, Kerry Washington, Michelle Obama, Jada Pinkett, and the list goes on.

By the way, you have a very, very, very stereotypical and warped view of interracial couples. They aren't always a fat white girl and some black guy living hard in the "hood." If you think that, you should and need to get out more. That's the "insecurity stereotype," as I like to call it.

All white women can get white guys, period. Even the allegedly "ghetto" wigger white girls can get white guys. You can always get your own. Some people just don't want to. I don't agree with that but that's their life.

Black Dude,
By definition if a white woman dates a black "man", they are pretty messed up. The picture of the booty girl - does she have hair on her back and does she have tits on her back too?
