#132. Income Inequality

There is a specter haunting America...

Black people love to spend money. Purchasing flashy items to adorn the ear lobe, teeth, neck, body, feet, car or other property is the primary reason saving money for the future is greeted with difficulty in the Black community.

Though most Black children aspire for a career as a professional athlete, the onus on the barbershop will continue to grow as these dreams are continually dashed and graduation rates plummet.

It is for these reasons (and a myriad of others) that a recent study on income disparities between the racial groups becomes so frighteningly obvious:
Income levels for African-Americans are less than half the income levels for whites in 31 major metropolitan areas, according to a Business First analysis of new U.S. Census Bureau data.

The largest disparity exists in Bridgeport-Stamford, Conn., where the per capita income for black residents is $20,368, which is 35.9 percent of the comparable figure for whites, $56,729.

The next four metros with the largest income gaps between blacks and whites are Boise, Idaho; Portland, Maine; Salt Lake City and Miami-Fort Lauderdale. Per capita incomes for blacks in all four of those areas are less than 41 percent of the per capita incomes for whites.

Business First generated racial income comparisons from the 2009 American Community Survey, which was released Monday by the Census Bureau. The study included 101 metropolitan areas with estimated populations greater than 500,000. (The 102nd metro above that threshold, Jackson, Miss., was excluded because its racial income data were incomplete.)

Click here for racial income comparisons for all 101 metros.

Business First matched up the per capita incomes for white, black, Hispanic and Asian residents of each metro. Per capita income (PCI) is defined as the average amount of money received by a residents of a given a area in a given year, encompassing such diverse sources of income as salaries, interest payments, dividends, rental income and government checks.

Four New York metros are below the 50 percent mark when black incomes are compared with those of whites: Syracuse (where black PCI is 44.5 percent of white PCI), New York City (47.8 percent), Rochester (48.8 percent) and Albany (49.2 percent).
The Southern states of the United States house 54 percent of the entire Black population. Curiously, these states also see 50 percent of the people living below the poverty line. Many of the metro areas listed in this study are found in the South.

When one recalls that single Black women have a net worth of just $5 dollars, the reality of income inequality becomes glaringly obvious:
A recent study which found that the average single black women has a net worth of just $5 may appear to some people to be absurdly, shockingly eye-opening. But the sad truth is that this study represents just one facet of the mounting financial challenges and obstacles facing African American females, and African Americans as a whole.
Indeed, it's very well documented that Blacks in general lag behind their white counterparts on a number of financial measures, including:

- Homeownership rates (did you know 1 in 3 African American homeowners is currently in foreclosure?)
- Income levels
- Net worth
- College degree rates
- Dollars invested in the market

...And so on.

But the dilemma facing single black women may be particularly acute when you consider that many have no one to fall back on when times get tight and no real financial safety net. Add to the mix that many of these women are also parents, trying to raise children, and it's easy to see why this situation is so very dangerous. The plight of single black women has the ability to negatively impact an entire generation.

Barbershops provide steady employment (Black people don't like their own hair that much and rely on Korean businesses for remedies to ameliorate nature's cruelty), but the paycheck pales in comparison to whitey's.
Businesses have no incentive to discriminate, for the power of the EEOC to destroy small, medium or large firms over lawsuits grows by the day. The government provides outstanding jobs paying well above the private sector, but only so many are available. High unemployment is also a nagging problem.

Just as Black people practice "Waiting for Superman" to improve education and thereby removing the racial gap in learning, Black people await passing Go and collecting $200 in an all-out bid to remove income inequities.

Sadly, Black people are stuck with self-blighted properties and land behind bars in numbers far out of proportion to their number in society, while dreams of landing on Boardwalk and  Park Place are replaced with a perpetual existence in the proverbial Baltic Avenue:
Today, African American men working full time and year round have 72 percent of the average earnings of comparable white men. For African American and white women, the ratio is 85 percent. And during good times and bad, the black unemployment rate is typically stuck at about double the white rate.

The persistence of these gaps is the subject of both a scholarly and a popular debate that is ideological as well as technical.

There are two broad views of what is occurring. One view attributes persistent earnings inequality to the injuries of social class compounded by the legacy of segregation and slavery: family background and poor schools and a resulting deficit of cognitive skills are said to explain most of the gap. But a second strand of thinking identifies changes in the labor market and lingering racial discrimination as major factors.

It's not as if this debate is just so much conjecture. There is an extensive body of research on the subject. Numerous studies, in fact, find that not even half of the racial differences in test scores can be explained by family background and school quality. They also show that the economic returns to the test scores and their determinants vary by race and that even when test results are effectively equal, racial earnings gaps remain. So, plain discrimination remains part of the story.

Income inequality will forever haunt Black people who desire to move on up, and for this reason it must be included in Stuff Black People Don't Like. Spend an hour on this Web site, and you might understand why these income inequalities really exist.

We will go Home: What the Future Holds

Long ago, with the advent of white flight, the urban areas of American major cities were conceded to Black people.

Many of these cities are now undergoing rapid gentrification and Black mayors of these demographically changing areas are seeing resentment boil and electoral blow back for insufficiently dealing with the invading hipsters, SWPL espousing pale faces and young pioneers who flee the rapidly browning suburbs and slowly remove Black inhabitants with methodical economic displacement.

Disingenuous White Liberals - though they talk a good game - truly desire living as far removed from Black people as possible. Many parts of the South will be virtually inhabitable within 20 years due to the rapid changes taking place below the Mason-Dixon Line and the dependency on Federal assistance that more than half of the citizens depend upon to subsist.

This number will only grow, creating an unstable situation that will eventually reach a breaking point when tax revenue collected can no loner support those who rely on handouts and aid.

Black Run America (BRA) grows in power and influence by the day, reaching a point where even criticism cloaked in anonymity is deemed a threat to the existing order and must be steadfastly combated.

We wrote at this site that peace is not an option (no matter how desirable), that no amount of reparations for the past will ever be enough to satiate the question "And Then?" No story of criminal savagery will ever provide enough evidence to persuade people upon the incontrovertible and self-evident truth that is prevalent in diverse municipalities across America.

It seems white people have been brainwashed into submissive condition that closes their mouths from uttering truths, beaten into a callow passivity that precludes any public discussions or open forum of their dispossession. To speak such truths is a revolutionary act that Big Media and Disingenuous White Liberals (DWL) will vigorously denounce and suppress.

Something entitled "white privilege" is still ubiquitous in BRA, even though such foolish intellectual notions lose credibility when one considers how the government hires, promotes and punishes transgressions that violate the law.

The only "white privilege" open to white people in BRA is the honor of being part of the game TBW. The game recently took on the colloquialism "polar bear hunting":
But for his great sense of humor, Mike Sola might be curled up in the fetal position crying right now.

The 50-year-old former weatherman for WILL-TV and, before that, WCIA-TV, is among the latest in a growing list of white men in town being slugged for sport by young black men. (Earlier reports indicated a slang term of "polar bear hunting" for these attacks, but police officials say that term is not evident in the recent attacks.)
The attacks seem to have been concentrated on campus during August but lately have been spreading across Champaign and have even included young white boys in city parks.
"My facial swelling has gone down to where it looks like I had a cheap botox injection. My crow's feet are totally gone on the right side," he quipped Tuesday, some four days after being attacked while walking home from a Central High School football game. "I've been beat up worse than this by my brothers."
Sola said he decided to walk the couple of miles to his south central Champaign home Friday night after the game let out at Tommy Stewart Field behind Centennial High School.
He was near Jefferson Middle School on Crescent Drive about 9:30 p.m., one of several people leaving the game, when "out of the blue I feel something hit me in the back of the head."
"It's hard. It wasn't a fist," he said, adding that whatever struck him wrapped around to the front of his neck, causing it to bruise. Although stunned, his little bit of karate training sent him into a defensive mode.
"I go into a crouch, get a little bit of a defensive stance, reach out and grab somebody, and throw a punch. I hit somebody," he said, adding he was peppering his assailants with a few well-chosen phrases of outrage.
He doesn't know how many there were – he believes at least two – and couldn't recognize them in the dark, but knows they were probably teens leaving the game just as he was.
"They didn't look out of place in a group of high schoolers," Sola said.
Within seconds, police and other passers-by, including Central High School Principal Joe Williams, were helping Sola.
Several officers were already there lighting the darker portions of the street with their squad-car spotlights as they watched the fans leaving.
This game - TBW - will only grow with popularity, though some cities (like Charlotte) see a general rise in citizens who would defend themselves against thuggery and lawlessness.

That lawlessness is not unique to America. Europe is awash in a criminal tidal wave from London to Paris and in the nations belonging to the European Union. That criminal title wave has a common denominator that grows more obvious by the day. In Paris, TBW went global recently when white people found themselves under assault by crowds of Black people merely voicing their displeasure with the history of discrimination they have faced.

Some people argue that the historic populations of Europe and those who constituted the founding stock of America are doomed. This is foolish.

In Europe, tremors of the Far-Right are felt in every nation. This will only grow in the coming days, months and years.

The United States will become increasingly totalitarian, simultaneously descending further and further into insolvency as individuals states become crippled with debt that can never be repaid.

Individual nations in Europe will begin actively recruiting white people in America to return to their ancestral homeland, for the falling birthrates there will force drastic measures that can only be rectified through an infusion of refugees from an increasingly hostile United States.

Again, SBPDL believes the movie The Second Civil War holds far more truth than people wish to consider at this point.

There still exist enough of Those Who Can See to realize that the center cannot hold forever. In Europe, that situation is quickly becoming obvious with each passing day.

In the coming years, decades, We will go Home.

What will become of the United States?

Where are the # posts?

A number of people have E-mailed lately inquiring when the # posts will return. They implore us to go back to the bread and butter of Stuff Black People Don't Like, returning to compiling the list that seems never-ending.

We will, in due time, we will. Recall that Google that has systematically removed all random search results that would bring a Internet surfer to this page, stunting the flow of new traffic to the site.

Consult the entry on Michael Oher and look at the date of the last comment to see how effective this censorship has been at derailing the growth of SBPDL.

There is only one way to fight this censorship (Google does own Blogspot, so they have the right to remove SBPDL from search results if they wish, as search bots once returned Internet surfers with increasing regularity to this site) and that is to move SBPDL to a new home.

On 10-10-10, SBPDL.com moves to a new home. This site will stand as a monument to the first-year of our efforts and to those who spent their valuable time posting comments and enjoying (or voicing their displeasure through the written word) what we have attempted to do.

An anonymous correspondent sent an E-mail a few months back that thanked us for our efforts. Unaware nor unconcerned of whatever motivation might be behind our continued diligence of compiling entries, they cared not. This person just said "Thank you" and sent their appreciation for the service SBPDL performs.

This is why we have continued. We get a lot of E-mails (you can contact us at stuffblackpeople@gmail.com) and appreciate every one. It means simply that we have motivated you enough to spend time here and that something of what we have contributed to the seemingly infinite number of Web sites available for your perusal is worthy of consideration, deliberation and your continued interest.

For that very reason, SBPDL: Year One will be made available in book form, collecting entries from our humble beginnings to when The Young Turks took to denouncing us for pointing out what the Michael Oher Story really meant.

The # posts are returning, so stick around and you won't be disappointed. We live in a time when the country is rapidly changing and those in power attempt to defame good people who merely question a growing Leviathan that actively conspires to their continued dispossession with the augmenting of Black Run America (BRA).

The line is about to be drawn. 10-10-10.

No Homo: The Fall of Bishop Long

Mark your calendars: 10-10-10 approaches. The first year of Stuff Black People Don't Like released in book form.

A major announcement will accompany the release of the book as well. Major. What will that be, you inquire? Stay tuned. Just know that Stuff Black People Don't Like draws the proverbial line on 10-10-10. Prepare yourselves.

Bishop Long with George W. Bush
Speaking of preparing oneself, news of a most shocking nature is shaking the very foundations of a mega-church in Atlanta. Alleged sexual abuse by Bishop Eddie Long, a man who has denounced homosexuality and led marches against gay marriage, is causing his congregation much consternation and contemplation.

No Homo, right? Of course all of the sexual predatory accusations are alleged at this point and Bishop Eddie Long - a man who preaches the gospel of Jesus-Christ with noticeable nod to the charismatic Ric Flair of professional wrestling fame - is presumed innocent at this point.

Nonetheless, the accusations of homosexual, predatory misconduct are piling up against a man who loves form-fitting suits and takes Facebook quality photos of himself with a cellphone wearing Under Armor:

"This man manipulated us from childhood," Parris told WAGA-TV, who interviewed the 23-year-old outside a Colorado grocery store. "This was our father and we loved him."
Parris, who alleged that Long used church funds to lavish him and the other victims with gifts, said he reached out to the bishop privately before filing suit.
"This man turned his back on us when he had no more need for us," Parris told WAGA-TV. "That's not a man. That's a predator."
Attorney B.J. Bernstein, who represents the accusers, said she did not authorize the interview.
In a civil lawsuit filed last Wednesday, Parris, a former member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and one of Long's "spiritual sons," claims the charismatic bishop made him call him “Daddy," exploiting his role as a father figure and mentor.
Long has denied the allegations and told his congregation Sunday he will "vigorously" fight the charges against him. He has yet to comment on Parris' interview.
Meanwhile, 32 pastors gathered at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday evening.
No Homo, right?

Bishop Eddie Long preaches in DeKalb County, renowned as one of the top counties for Black people in America. This lawsuit filed for alleged sexual misconduct with four (thus far) Black male accusers threatens to hit Long where it hurts the most; the pocket book.

You see, Bishop Long is cut from the same cloth of entertainers who have graced the squared circle of professional wrestling. He created a character, a persona, that played well to an audience (25,000 members of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and countless celebrity Black friends), all the while acting and manipulating them for financial gain.

He became a limosine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, Rolex wearing, wheeling-dealing son of a gun that Ric Flair has boasted about in promos for years. Bishop Long was the same type of actor, manipulating the passions of the crowd (congregation) for his own economic betterment.

In a way, white professional wrestling grapplers have long influenced Black athletes, singers and entertainers. Bishop Long is first and foremost an entertainer, exciting his flock with verbosity and linguistically charged sermons that resonate with the power of God, but he owes a debt of gratitude to Gorgeous George:
Some fans--and NFL suits--are appalled. They long for the days before the hip-hop-ization of American sports, when you broke the plane and didn't get fancy. Even those who enjoy the end zone antics tend to see them as, Billy White Shoes Johnson's Funky Chicken aside, a new thing and a black thing. But not so: This all goes back some 60 years to one slightly pudgy white man, a wrestler, who's since been largely forgotten. It's a Gorgeous thing.

Wrestlers have long influenced hip hop and been a catalyst for Black people to hone their persona's, creating larger-than-life images of themselves to broadcast out to the world. Funny, that's all they are, though, images of what they want people to believe.

In reality, they play a character for the amusement of others. It appears Bishop Long bought into this idea and has played the character perfectly, all the while amassing popularity, a vast fortune and prestige.Where some wrestlers have catch-phrases to get the crowd fired-up (and to purchase merchandise), Bishop Long implores people to "Cross it up" with much gusto and fanfare.

One can only speculate if he told the alleged accusers to "Cross it up"... No Homo, right?

We wish Bishop Long 'God speed' in his upcoming legal battles against the accusers. DeKalb County hasn't had much positive news of late and the harrowing news that a beloved Bishop is someone who might have not stated "No Homo" is just to much to swallow.

Professional wrestling is fake, the wrestlers merely acting. Sadly, it appears Bishop Long bought into this character and the "Big Man" persona he had created.

The Funniest Story We Have Ever Read - Shreveport White Mayoral Candidate Goes for the Gizzard in a Town Already Cooked

Flyer for the Wings and Limo Ride
We talked about chicken and Shreveport two days ago. Well, this story has taken a hilarious turn that must be discussed. Martin Luther King Street in Shreveport was to be the venue of this Chicken Wing and Limo event, but an arsonist hit the restaurant and dashed all of those dreams in a harmonious conflagration:
Some people were appalled that a white candidate running for mayor of Shreveport would hold a rally in a black neighborhood and try to entice them with chicken wings and free limo rides to the polls.  And that's the story that's spreading like wildfire on the web and social networks, going viral.  The problem is:  That's not what happened.

Just ask the organizers of the Bryan Wooley for Mayor campaign event.  Donor and volunteer Virginia Evans told me, "We didn't have chicken!  We had hamburgers and roast beef, prime rib."  That fact didn't stop a mass of emails, social network messages, and the like from spreading as fast as the speed of light across the worldwide web.
Critics tried to paint that rally, publicized by this flier, as a political stunt, allegedly promising chicken and free limo rides to the polls in the predominantly African-American community of Martin Luther King Drive in north Shreveport.  Evans, who also happens to be African-American, says there was not even a hint of racism at her rally.
Evans insisted, during our interview at her home Friday night, that the Wednesday (9/22) event was her idea alone to help bring attention to the MLK neighborhood and its needs.  "No business(es) coming to our community, the streets are in bad shape."
As for those free limo rides, Evans says only a few senior citizen ladies took her up on the offer, and it was only for early voting.  Mayoral candidate Bryan Wooley told us, "I got opponents on my right who made an issue about the size of my signs and I have opponents on my left who are trying to play the race card saying this is racial."

An arsonist struck at Evans restaurant hours before that rally at Wings and More.  It forced the entire event to be held outside.  Despite that, Wooley added, "for us, it was a great opportunity.  Folks that participated loved it, enjoyed it and appreciated the opportunity to engage in the process and we had a great time."
Shreveport Fire Chief Brian Crawford confirmed to me that an arsonist struck about 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, in the back of 'Wings and More.'  That restaurant's name, some suggest, likely led to the false conclusion that wings were served at the rally.  There's no evidence so far linking the rally to the arson fire.

Shreveport is a majority Black city with a majority Black criminal problem. Trying to confront and stop Black crime would make sense, but in a world governed by the forces of Black Run America (BRA), this simple solution is a cause for major concern:

Ola Mae Kelly knows walking in the street is dangerous. But the 56-year-old also knows sometimes walking on the sidewalk can be equally so.

Years ago, Kelly was walking on the sidewalk when a man grabbed her from behind and dragged her away. Since then, the life-long Shreveport resident has made it a habit to walk in the street. It makes her feel safer.
At about 4:15 p.m. Aug. 16, Kelly was walking down East 75th Street, in the street, unaware she was breaking a city law that makes it illegal for citizens to walk in the street if there is a sidewalk. Kelly was surprised when a police car coming the opposite way, slowed and turned around after passing her.
She was even more bewildered when the encounter with officer Gerald McKinney resulted in injuries to her face, shoulder and knee — and her arrest.

"It happened so fast," said Kelly, who had two outstanding traffic violations. She was taken to jail and released after paying $490 bail. "I couldn't believe he was hitting me."

Kelly later filed an excessive force complaint alleging McKinney threw her to the ground and hit her in the face despite her attempts to comply with his orders. Two days after the incident — and before Kelly made her complaint — McKinney was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of internal and criminal investigations. Attempts to reach McKinney were unsuccessful.

Police Chief Willie Shaw said he would take appropriate action, if necessary, involving Kelly's complaint after criminal and internal investigations are complete.

But Shaw pointed out that such incidents are a small percentage of the annual 267,000 contacts the department has with citizens. For example, officers make about 15,000 arrests yearly and of those only 3.7 percent result in force being used. A small number of excessive force complaints made each year are found to have merit and result in corrective action to the officer involved, he said.

"We're going to enforce the law and in doing so, sometimes, we're not going to make the criminals happy," Shaw said. "My No. 1 priority is making the community safe."
Kelly's case may be about more than allegations of police brutality. Critics say the law that allowed McKinney to stop Kelly appears to be targeting Shreveport's black citizens and enforced only in black neighborhoods. That notion is supported by an analysis of five year's worth of arrest data that shows nearly all involved black citizens, mostly were made in black neighborhoods and half were made against young black men.

Those statistics trouble NAACP President Lloyd Thompson, who questions why the law seems to be enforced only in black neighborhoods and against black men 25 years old and younger.
"I'm concerned the ordinance could be used as a harassment tool towards young African-Americans," Thompson said.

Shreveport police officer union President Michael Carter said perspective is needed in reviewing arrests. Officers have "thousands" of contacts each year with citizens walking in the street that don't result in an arrest. An arrest usually comes only after a citizen refuses to comply with an officer's instructions, uses profanity or is rude, or is suspected of another crime.

"What's happening here is you have an escalation of police defiance," Carter said. "You have a constant 'in your face attitude' from this younger generation."

The Times' review of walking in the street arrests from Jan. 1, 2005, through Sept. 12, 2010, reveals:

  • 92 percent of those arrested were black

  • Half of all those arrested were young men ages 17 to 25 — predominantly black;

  • Arrests almost exclusively were made in black neighborhoods; no arrests were made in mostly white neighborhoods, such as Broadmoor.Thompson said the high numbers of blacks arrested for walking in the street is alarming and worthy of review by Shreveport's mayor and City Council. The law should be fairly enforced "across the board," Thompson said.

  • In Shreveport, even props for a school play in the drama department can be called racist:
Is this a symbol of hate, or just a misunderstanding?

"And it looks like a noose," said Ebony Ross, a junior at C.E. Byrd High School who snapped a picture of it.

She says she was so offended that she cried when she saw it.

"I was shocked, and I was ... why would this happen and it's Black History Month," said Ross.

But it's the schools position, that while the placement of this rope appears suspect, and even unfortunate, it is not a hangman's noose, and there's no hate crime.

Head of Caddo school security, Roy Murry says "The drama club was using the rope to secure lights to the balcony."
Ebony says the principal had it removed, but blew off her concerns it might have been a noose and, with it, a symbolic threat against blacks in the school.
Look, we've said it before: the South must be evacuated. Leave behind you those desiring watching football played by athlete-students who have no business even being enrolled in major institutions behind. Leave those who seek the votes of those who enjoy the luxurious combination of "Chicken and Limo rides" behind.

Really, all you can do is laugh at what the United States of America represents in 2010: the beauty of Democracy represented by both Alvin Greene and the political machinations of offering chicken and a limo ride for but your vote.

At least Black people in Shreveport desire a change of their image... why are Black people in so much trouble with the law?

Because they break the law. Shreveport is but a microcosm of the problem the country faces.

We'd still love to go on that limo ride, though.

Request: Video from Seminole County- Daleville (Ala.) Football Game Brawl

A massive, bench-clearing brawl took place during the Seminole County (Georgia) and Daleville High School (Alabama) football game. Following similar patterns of athletic brawls at the high school and collegiate level nationwide, SBPDL believes this brawl deserves recognition at this Web site.

Based on demographics from both schools and YouTube evidence of the 2009 Daleville football team, it is obvious both teams are over 80 percent Black (maybe closer to 90 percent). What causes this agitation among Black participants in sports?:

Seminole lost to Daleville, Ala., 28-13, Friday night in a game-that was shortened because of a major fight in the third quarter.
According to Seminole coach Alan Ingram, with 3:34 left in the frame, after a bad snap by the Indians (3-2), a Daleville player picked up the ball and began to run with it before a Seminole player tackled him. One thing led to another, and the benches started to clear after a Daleville player hit a Seminole player in the back.

“The crazy things is that neither team (was agitated) up to that point,” Ingram said. “It just kind of exploded.”
The referees called the game after some of the skirmish spread to the stands.

“We’ll just have to send the tape to (GHSA) and see what they decide,” Ingram said. “The rules clearly state that if you get off the bench, you sit out the following game.”

Daleville gets the victory after jumping out to a 21-7 lead at halftime .

“They had a very good football team, nothing like the score indicates,” Ingram said. “We didn’t play (well) and it just means we have to go back and regroup and find out why we weren’t ready to play.”

The Indians will definitely have a lot to think about before they face Mitchell County next week.

“I’m just glad we got out of it with nobody getting hurt,” Ingram said. “We’re just disappointed and we let ourselves down and didn’t perform.”
Seminole County had all but nine of its players suspended for this brawl. Video evidence of this brawl has yet to surface on the internet, so we come to readers with a simple request: help us find it so we can ensure it receives the proper amount of coverage the story deserves.

Putting together a book (10-10-10 is the release of SBPDL: Year One), a new Web site (to counter-act Google) and the impending release of the YouTube SBPDL Channel is laborious work. Help us out by trying to find video evidence of the brawl.

So many stories transpire that deserve to be written about, but due to time constraints are left on the cutting floor. In virtual back-to-back days, separate incidents involving 90+ year-old individuals occurred that should send chills down your spine.

One in Philadelphia; the other in Atlanta. People are falling and no one is there to help them up.

SBPDL has been accused of a lot of stuff since this Web site became operative roughly a year and a four months ago.  Regardless of what is stated, we merely search for honesty in a land where it is glaring back at us with a haughty smirk, knowing full well that hiding in plain sight guarantees acceptance.

We don't accept things the way they are; neither should you.

Help us find the video of the brawl. We know the cameras were rolling.

Because remember, without the positive images that sports help manipulate, craft and portray of Black people, Black Run America (BRA) crumbles to the ground and all that is left is pent-up aggression for the past.

The fate of billions might not depend upon us finding and securing a copy of this brawl, but... it just might.

Chicken Wings, Black-on-Black Crime and Freedom Rides: Finger Lickin' Good in BRA!!

It is a well-known fact that chicken is the number one choice of meat in the Black community. Fried, baked, grilled, crispy, preferably free, with or without bones, in a bucket, in the form of a nugget, stolen by Precious, purchased while hurdling dying people at the Chicken Hut or worse, sold-out because Popeye's and KFC were in a )rut, Black people can go only so many meals without a supplement of chicken.

This past weekend saw chicken wings (no one ran out of them) provide two instances of unnecessary drama and hurt feelings, though in both cases the offending party were merely placating a certain demographic with a public acknowledgment of their love for soul food.

One of the cases involving offensive chicken wing usage was the inappropriate naming of a certain variety of wing - the Black on Black crime wing flavor:
What's in a name? At Big Shot Bob's House of Wings in Avalon, apparently it's everything. Channel 11 News featured the restaurant in the Pittsburgh “Best Wing” contest, but it’s a name of one of the flavors that caught the attention of many WPXI viewers and Facebook followers.

"If I had any idea this would happen, it wouldn't have gotten on our menu," said Big Shot Bob's owner Matt Cercone. "We've been getting threatening phone calls here, and there are people saying we're going to go out of business."Big Shot Bob's is more popularly known for its 100 different flavors of wings, but it was the "black on black crime" wing flavor that generated the negative publicity.Channel 11 first learned about the controversy through our WPXI-TV Facebook page. A viewer wrote, "How about this for a story. There's a place called Big Shot Bob's house of wings and they have a featured wing called black on black crime.

"Cercone said after he started receiving complaints about the wings name, he changed it. Cercone said he meant no harm and that the wing's inventor, a loyal customer who happens to be African-American, came up with the name."Offense was never part of anything," said Cercone.

Big Shot Bob's changed the name of the wings to "Big Fine Woman 2000." Cercone said they allowed the woman who first brought the controversy to light to name them.
So a Black person named the wing in the first place after a problem that plagues the Black community quite frequently. Black on Black crime is not a mild problem; it is not even a medium problem. Calling it a hot problem would be a crime, so one can surmise that the Black on Black crime flavored wing was most certainly nuclear hot flavored.

If not, this story out of Shreveport fits that description perfectly. A white mayoral candidate in that Black city had the misfortune of promoting a campaign appearance that included free chicken and limo rides to the polls. Rumors that the wings were named Black on Black crime have yet to be confirmed:

Two Shreveport mayoral candidates say a fellow contender's flyer offering free chicken and limo rides to the polls is patently offensive and racist.
At issue is a "Freedom Rally" event purportedly sponsored by mayoral candidate Bryan Wooley. The rally, which appears to have happened on Wednesday and Thursday, featured free chicken and limo rides to early voting polls to residents of Shreveport's Cooper Road area also known at the Martin Luther King neighborhood.
Copies of a flyer advertising the event were posted on Facebook and have generated considerable comment from the social network's Shreveport users.
Calls to Wooley's campaign spokesperson to verify the authenticity of the flyer and event were not immediately returned this morning.

"Words can’t express my anger over this racist move," mayoral candidate Parker Ward wrote in a Friday e-mail sent to The Times. "I am calling on Bryan Wooley to send a public apology to the African American Community."

Fellow candidate David Cox also addressed the issue on his Facebook page. Cox posted a scanned copy of a orange and black flyer depicting Wooley and promising free chicken and limo rides.
"This is a sad day in Shreveport when we have a city council member seeking our highest office ... his office was passing out a distasteful flyer to target a certain part of town," Cox posted to his Facebook page. "This flyer was passed out in the Cooper Road area and it sends the wrong message to Shreveport."

It is impolite to promote a campaign by offering food and merriment that Black people find mirthful and fun, for this form of Realpolitik is a ghastly display of insensitivity at its worst. Though Black people love chicken, this culinary predilection is not available for open source sharing. Riding in limos is a treat that Black people normally are allotted if they are in the driver's seat. To offer two extravagances in turn for a simple vote is what truly upset the white mayoral candidates Black opponents.

Why didn't the opponents think of this ingenious idea first?

One idea that must be retired is cheap wing night in areas where life is regarded cheaply. Though this story is a nearly a year old, the weekend of chicken wing added excitement seems to necessitate its resurrection:

Buffalo Wild Wings has plucked the feathers off its weekly cheap wings promotion after hordes of rowdy students descended on the sports bar, resulting in two separate shooting incidents on Tuesday night.
The three teens caught in the crossfire were not seriously injured, but that did not stop some local leaders from calling for a crackdown on the spicy appetizer emporium inside the Atlantic Terminal Mall.

Councilwoman Letitia James (D–Fort Greene) pointed the finger at the management of the sports bar for recklessly promoting its 50-cent “Wing Tuesdays” to students.
“I want this Tuesday restaurant promotion stopped, or the lease of this business revoked,” James said.
Within hours, the wingery responded by announcing the indefinite suspension of the promotion, which was long popular with students and even the ever-economical sluggers from the Brooklyn Cyclones.
As such, the joint was packed on Tuesday evening with students — many from outside Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, police said — swarmed the mall.
Most of the students did not actually make it into the packed restaurant, and instead congregated at the mall, where things quickly became out of hand. The restaurant closed its doors early, and the cops were called to restore order.
Outside the mall, gunfire erupted, though details are sketchy. One shooting was at Hanson Place and Flatbush Avenue, and the other was near the bow-tie intersection of Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue.
“Although there was a huge police presence at the mall to address the condition and turn the thousands of students away and send them back home, apparently a few rogue groups managed to cause trouble while heading home,” Capt. Anthony Tasso of the 88th Precinct said in a statement.
A spokeswoman for the sports bar, which has 635 locations nationwide, said that the “Wing Tuesdays” promotion was not directed solely at students.
More likely, the crowds were driven by circumstance: this week’s 50-cent wing night fell on the day before Veteran’s Day — when schools were closed.
“It’s an unfortunate situation, but we weren’t enticing kids to come,” Liz Brady, the spokeswoman said.
Then again, it’s not the first time a buffalo wing binge has gone haywire at that location. James said that other promotions at the eatery have required police intervention.
She added that cops had approached her after the incident and said, “We got to do something about Wild Wings.” Of course, crime at the Atlantic Terminal Mall doesn’t only occur at the wing joint. Just last week, a man entered a candy store, brandished a gun and made off with the cash in the register — and the money in the tip jar, too.

Yes, Black people love chicken, though it is unwise to point this fact out, name a wing after a common incidence in the Black community, or to premise a political campaign nf giving Black people a ride in a limo and a bucket of chicken in exchange for a vote.

Life in the waning days of Black Run America (BRA) is going to provide a whole slew of gaffes and belly laughs and it is wise to understand the truly revolutionary power of jokes. Nothing de-stabilizes and de-legitimizes a power structure like heaping plates of scorn, ridicule and laughter.

And a side order of chicken wings, flavored Black on Black crime.

    #36. Demonization of Ebonics

Black people love being Black. Every negative stereotype that white people whisper about in hurried, hushed sentences - for fear that a Commissar of Black Run America (BRA) might be near - is but a point of pride that Black people revel in without reservation or hesitation.

A rebellion against Pre-Obama America occurred in the linguistic sector, as Black people developed a vernacular indigenous to their rhythmically-enhanced communities; and this form of dialect has proliferated and gained increasing acceptance in academic circles, though it is borderline indecipherable:
The term Ebonics (a blend of ebony and phonics) gained recognition in 1996 as a result of the Oakland School Board’s use of the term in its proposal to use African American English in teaching Standard English in the Oakland Schools. The term was coined by Robert Williams in 1973, but it wasn’t until the Ebonics controversy that Ebonics became widely used. Most linguists prefer the term African American English as it aligns the variety with regional, national, and sociocultural varieties of English such as British English, Southern English, Cajun English, and so forth.
Ebonics is a true language rebellion by Black people against the totalitarian and imperalistic cultural norms of acceptable communication enforced by oppressive sons and daughters of Albion. The Queen's English is a burden to Black people who, in an all-out effort to "keep it real", deigned speaking proper English just another form of slavery and freed themselves from the constricting shackles of grammatically correct sentences and intelligible spoken word.

Thankfully, a Web site has been created that offers translation of English into Ebonics, so that those unfamiliar to the foreign language spoken with such fervency in the Black community can grasp the concepts governing this growing tongue.

It has been postulated that Ebonics is the language that might finally help build the bridge to overcome the racial gap in learning that no amount of money has yet to construct. For this simple reason, Black people are incredulous that an attempt to create an authentic Black vernacular has been met with such a negative response by the American people. Worse, many white people snicker and find humor in the inability for Black people to intelligently put together a coherent sentence.

Indeed, it is that rare Black person who speaks recognizable, lucid and consistent English that is deemed articulate in the eyes of white people. Some have argued that a reliance on Ebonics has damaged Black people's prospects in the job market even, which could help explain the onus barbershops must face when it comes to employing vast numbers of dialectically-deficient Black people.

One entity that does value Ebonics (or, those who can understand Ebonics) is the Justice Department of the United States of America. Understanding crime statistics and the propensity Black people find themselves committing acts that run counter to laws governing civilized society, the Justice Department has realized that they lack the manpower to properly translate Ebonics to help solve crimes:

The Department of Justice is seeking to hire linguists fluent in Ebonics to help monitor, translate, and transcribe the secretly recorded conversations of subjects of narcotics investigations, according to federal records.
A maximum of nine Ebonics experts will work with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Atlanta field division, where the linguists, after obtaining a “DEA Sensitive” security clearance, will help investigators decipher the results of “telephonic monitoring of court ordered nonconsensual intercepts, consensual listening devices, and other media”

The DEA’s need for full-time linguists specializing in Ebonics is detailed in bid documents related to the agency’s mid-May issuance of a request for proposal (RFP) covering the provision of as many as 2100 linguists for the drug agency’s various field offices. Answers to the proposal were due from contractors on July 29.

In contract documents, which are excerpted here, Ebonics is listed among 114 languages for which prospective contractors must be able to provide linguists. The 114 languages are divided between “common languages” and “exotic languages.” Ebonics is listed as a “common language” spoken solely in the United States.

Ebonics has widely been described as a nonstandard variant of English spoken largely by African Americans. John R. Rickford, a Stanford University professor of linguistics, has described it as “Black English” and noted that “Ebonics pronunciation includes features like the omission of the final consonant in words like ‘past’ (pas’ ) and ‘hand’ (han’), the pronunciation of the th in ‘bath’ as t (bat) or f (baf), and the pronunciation of the vowel in words like ‘my’ and ‘ride’ as a long ah (mah, rahd).”
Detractors reject the notion that Ebonics is a dialect, instead considering it a bastardization of the English language.

The Department of Justice RFP does not, of course, address questions of vernacular, dialect, or linguistic merit. It simply sought proposals covering the award of separate linguist contracts for seven DEA regions. The agency spends about $70 million annually on linguistic service programs, according to contract records.
In addition to the nine Ebonics experts, the DEA’s Atlanta office also requires linguists for eight other languages, including Spanish (144 linguists needed); Vietnamese (12); Korean (9); Farsi (9); and Jamaican patois (4). The Atlanta field division, one of the DEA’s busiest, is the only office seeking linguists well-versed in Ebonics. Overall, the “majority of DEA’s language requirements will be for Spanish originating in Central and South America and the Caribbean,” according to one contract document.

The Department of Justice RFP includes a detailed description of the crucial role a linguist can play in narcotics investigations. They are responsible for listening to “oral intercepts in English and foreign languages,” from which they provide verbal and typed summaries. “Subsequently, all pertinent calls identified by the supervising law enforcement officer will be transcribed verbatim in the required federal or state format,” the RFP notes.

Black people love being Black. Ebonics is a source of pride for Black people who find the parroting the Queen's English just an extension of verbal slavery that the creation of an authentic dialect can help end. That Black people who speak recognizable English are patronized as being pillars for their community is the reason that the demonization of Ebonics is included in Stuff Black People Don't Like.

To act white is to speak coherent English and this intolerable offense must not occur in the Black community, thus the prevalence for Ebonics. Sadly, Rosetta Stone has yet to release a language software to help non-Ebonics speakers learn the rules that govern this form of speech.

To "keep it real" Black people created a language that no non-Black person can really understand. It's debatablewhether Black people can even understand it.  Well, save that chick from Airplane!

Kill Whitey? Is this what Disingenuous White Liberals want?

We know - thanks to the coverage of the Omar Thornton story - that there can be no peace. Those who perished weren't even buried before Disingenuous White Liberals (DWLs) in the media castigated them for alleged - by the mass murderer himself - racism.

Now comes word of an intriguing survey dubbed the "Kill Whitey" study that postulated an intriguing scenario and produced interesting results that corroborate our findings that there can be no peace:

Perhaps most revealing is what Pizarro calls the “Kill Whitey” study. This was a footbridge problem — two variations on a footbridge problem in one, actually — that the team presented to 238 California undergrads. The undergrads were of mixed race, ethnicity and political leanings. Before they faced the problem, 87 percent of them said they did not consider race or nationality a relevant factor in moral decisions. Here the paper’s (.pdf) description of the problem they faced:
Participants received one of two scenarios involving an individual who has to decide whether or not to throw a large man in the path of a trolley (described as large enough that he would stop the progress of the trolley) in order to prevent the trolley from killing 100 innocent individual strapped in a bus.
Half of the participants received a version of the scenario where the agent could choose to sacrifice an individual named “Tyrone Payton” to save 100 members of the New York Philharmonic, and the other half received a version where the agent could choose to sacrifice “Chip Ellsworth III” to save 100 members of the Harlem Jazz Orchestra. In both scenarios the individual decides to throw the person onto the trolley tracks.
Tyrone and Chip. Just in case you’re missing what Pizarro is up to:
While we did not provide specific information about the race of the individuals in the scenario, we reasoned that Chip and Tyrone were stereotypically associated with White American and Black American individuals respectively, and that the New York Philharmonic would be assumed to be majority White, and the Harlem Jazz Orchestra would be assumed to be majority Black.
So the guy on the bridge kills either Tyrone to save the New York Philharmonic or Chip to save the Harlem Jazz Orchestra. How, Pizarro asked the students, did they feel about that? Was sacrificing Chip/Tyrone to save the Jazz Orchestra/Philharmonic justified? Was it moral? Was it sometimes necessary to allow the death of one innocent to save others? Should we ever violate core principles, regardless of outcome? Is it sometimes “necessary” to allow the death of a few to promote a greater good?

Turned out the racial identities did indeed, ah, color peoples’ judgments, but it colored them differently depending on their political bent. Pizarro, who describes himself as a person who “would probably be graded a liberal on tests,” roughly expected that liberals would be more consistent. Yet liberals proved just as prejudiced here as conservatives were, but in reverse: While self-described conservatives more readily accepted the sacrifice of Tyrone than they did killing Chip, the liberals were easier about seeing Chip sacrificed than Tyrone.

But this was just college students. Perhaps they were morally mushier than most people. So the team went further afield. As Pizarro describes in the talk:
We wanted to find a sample of more sort of, you know, real people. So we went in Orange County out to a mall and we got people who are actually Republicans and actually Democrats, not wishy-washy college students. The effect just got stronger. (This time it was using a “lifeboat” dilemma where one person has to be thrown off the edge of a lifeboat in order to save everybody, again using the names “Tyrone Payton” or “Chip Ellsworth III”.) We replicated the finding, but this time it was even stronger.
If you’re wondering whether this is just because conservatives are racist—well, it may well be that conservatives are more racist. But it appears in these studies that the effect is driven [primarily] by liberals saying that they’re more likely to agree with pushing the white man and [more likely to] disagree with pushing the black man.
So we used to refer to this as the “kill whitey” study.
They offered some other scenarios too, about collateral damage in military situations, for instance, and found similar differences: Conservatives accepted collateral damage more easily if the dead were Iraqis than if they were Americans, while liberals accepted civilian deaths more readily if the dead were Americans rather than Iraqis.
Kill Whitey. There is nothing more perverse, profane and disgusting to the white liberal mind then a white conservative, the embodiment of all that is evil and unholy in their secular worldview.

The white liberal finds the Red State dwelling, white Republican a most despicable, degenerate form of life and looks upon their existence with a combination of both pity and fear. That they lack the intellect to understand progressive politics and erudition to pursue fine arts is a cause for pity, but that these Red State inhabitants still cling ferociously to proletarian  and archaic ideas of God, Country and guns they fear what that might lead too.

DWLs cheer on the demise of whitey nationwide, as long as the variety of whitey is conservative and preferably a George W. Bush supporter.

You see, DWLs are firmly ensconced in liberal Whitopia's of their own and this geographic segregation from a people whose votes they use with increasing regularity to win at the polls, is just the way they see fit to live.

Take a look at the top places in the United States for liberals to live and you will see towns, cities and municipalities listed that lack the diversity all DWLs preach is paramount for a strong, unified America.

Diversity is our greatest strength, but it is what DWL bastions lack in spades.

Boulder, Portland and Seattle have fewer Black people than Tea Party rallies, yet these same DWLs attack the Tea Party for a lack of inclusion (here is a list of the 40 largest US Metro cities based on white population).

One town dubbed a "city of the future" even advertised paying Black people to move there because the DWLs were immersed in whiteness.

Kill Whitey? It only depends on what type of white person when that question is directed to the DWL. They live in liberal enclaves that feature surprising little diversity, less even than appear at Tea Party rallies bemoaning the increasing size of the Federal government.

Freedom of Association is one of the last true freedoms we Americans have left and, based upon patterns of residence, DWLs think like the Red State white people they loathe:
America is known as the Great Melting Pot.
But a closer look at census data shows we're a lot closer to a dinner plate with the peas here, carrots here, potatoes here, and steak over there. In other words, a very high level of racial segregation.
This cool series of maps was produced by Eric Fischer, based on a map of Chicago from Bill Rankin'sRadical Cartography.

Red represents white people, blue is black, green is Asian, and orange is Hispanic, and each dot is 25 people.

One thing that DWLs and those cretinous white Republicans have in common, though, is a steadfast desire to live as far removed from Black people as is humanly possible. Both groups practice a form of white flight and both practice a form of pioneering known as gentrification. The end of white flight is here, as the once Whitopia suburbs become brown.

More importantly, both groups pander and grovel to the principles of Black Run America (BRA) with equally emasculating efficacy. The point is that one group is disingenuous, while the other group desires a continued supply of Black athletes to cheer for in collegiate and professional sports.

We have already stated that the South must be abandoned. DWLs have no problem - according to one psychological test - offing conservative whites to save a Black person. But DWLs do have a problem living around Black people, as one can discern from residential patterns.

Where do people move too in an effort to be free from both "Kill Whitey" DWLs and those that Thug Report profile with such harsh honesty?

Facebook Creator gives $100 Million to Newark's Troubled Public Schools; The Social Network will still be Released

What would you do with $100 million dollars? Think about it for a second. No, give it a few more seconds. In fact, take your time with this question.

All right. What did you come up with?

Well, if you said you would donate it to a failing school system that already receives massive amounts of donations from Disingenuous White Liberals who care little for the results and return on investment of their philanthropic gift, but depend more on the moral capital the gift bestows upon them, then you are thinking along the lines of Mark Zuckerberg:
Mark Zuckerberg, the 26-year-old Facebook founder and the biggest climber on this year’s Forbes 400, has just agreed to donate $100 million to Newark’s troubled public schools.

The tech whiz kid is expected to appear on fellow Forbes billionaire Oprah Winfrey’s show tomorrow to announce the gift, alongside Newark Mayor Cory Booker and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The New York Times reports that Zuckerberg’s donation will allow Booker to start redesigning the failing Newark school system, taking some control from the state.

This is the first time Zuckerberg has made a large-scale public charitable donation. He joins the ranks of other Forbes tech billionaires known for their philanthropy.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates, the richest man in America for the 17th year in a row, is also the most generous person on the planet: he’s cut checks totaling $28 billion to date. He and his wife launched the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 1994, when Gates was 38 – a dinosaur compared to Zuckerberg – with an initial gift of $94 million.

Zuckerberg has yet to join Gates and Warren Buffett’s billionaire giving pledge, which has seen 40 of the wealthiest Americans pledge to donate the majority of their wealth to charity over their lifetimes.
As we documented in an earlier post on Newark (well two posts), the city already receives substantial gifts from outside sources in an all-out effort to bring harmony, increased test scores and peace to the city:
Mayor Booker’s leadership has attracted approximately $100 million in private philanthropy to the City of Newark and a variety of nonprofits and public/private partnerships have been created and used to better the lives of Newark residents.
In April 2008, the Newark Charter School Fund was established to provide grants in support of Newark’s charter schools to support a successful public school system in Newark.[33]
The City of Newark also works with GreenSpaces, which has committed $40 million toward the largest park expansion initiative in over a century with a total of twenty one park construction and rehabilitation projects scheduled for completion in every ward by the end of 2010.[34]
To support the Newark Police Department, the Newark Police Foundation was established in 2006 and provides funding and other services to the Police Department which has had a significant impact on the NPD’s ability to pay for necessary resources that would otherwise not be readily funded through the department’s budget.[35]
Cory Booker is the beloved, brown paper bag test passing mayor of Newark. Yet for all this political capital he has earned, the city he runs is in dire fiscal straits:
Facing a daunting $70 million budget gap, Newark, N.J., Mayor Corey Booker says he can't afford to spare even one square: Discontinuing toilet paper in city offices is among his proposed cuts to remedy Newark's 2010 budget deficit.

"Every single contract that does not go to the core function of our city in providing safe streets, providing fire protection or other things to keep our city afloat will now be cut," Booker said during a press conference on Wednesday.
These proposed budget cuts to the school system have been met with walkouts by students, demanding to know where Cory Booker is in the time of budgetary calamity.

Well, Cory Booker has been gallivanting around with crowds containing very rich people, unlike the constituency that elected him to office in the first place. Why isn’t Newark better off? Why are cities with lots of red in these maps safer and more productive areas to live in?

$100 million dollars for Newark and for the school system: that will provide a lot of free lunches and more importantly, toilet paper.

Something tells us that Mr. Booker is going to get the Fenty treatment in the upcoming election.

A gift of $100 million grants Zuckerberg entry into the esteemed category of white liberals who pay homage to Black Run America (BRA) with a philanthropic gift, gaining unquestionable political capital in the process.

An Inconvenient Truth that goes outside the realm of education is simply this: The Social Network is about to be released that paints Zuckerberg in a most distressing and unpleasant light.

Nothing generates positive public relations like giving money to poor, perpetually down-trodden Black people, the cure-all for overcoming a movie and negative publicity that depicts you as a villainous, licentious cretin.

$100 million is but a small price to pay for smoothing over the rough-edges of reality for Zuckerberg, and donating it to Black people is a move right out of the pages of Mr. Deeds.

Regardless of the reason behind the gift, Newark schools will continue to fail and $100 million will have only purchased Zuckerberg positive press accolades.

Newark students walk out of school, take City Hall
